The 24/7 pick-up...Does not work at this location. The pin is locat d behind the building, over a hill in the woods. When I called support the first time, she literally told me to go to the . I told her where it was. She said I can see that and if you want this to work, I needed to go to the pin. I told her that was not an option and then we were disconnected. I called back and talked to Kimberly. She was much nicer. She ran me through some troubleshooting. She came to the same conclusion that I needed to go to the pin but because it was raining, over the hill, and in the woods it was unsafe and that the only thing I could do was wait until the facility opened. So I have been there now since 6:30 in the morning and now I have to wait until 8:00 a.m. so I waited till 8:00 a.m. and the facility had opened. The young lady who attempted to take care of me struggled with the computer. It took her another 20 or 30 minutes to get me checked out. She was unable to print me a copy of the contract. At any rate, the vehicle was nice and clean and it will kept condition. I am just incredibly frustrated because I was where I was supposed to be when I was supposed to be there. It is not my fault the app and or setup of said app/pin wasn't correct. I had hired moving help and they were waiting at the location. She would not increase the duration of my rental, despite not being able to pick it up until several hours later. So, we rushed around like idiots and we're able to have the U-Haul back on time. I haven't had to use U Haul's services for quite a long time, and was pleased with the services. Not only were there a wide variety of trucks to rent, they were clean and in good shape. I rented a 26 foot truck for the weekend and other than a little shaky ride, it served me well. as for the service I received from the staff at the store, I couldn't ask for a better experience. They were very professional and helpful, best in the business!!Robert B.

Had issues with the trailer. Says 6' wide but was not aware there were sides that came in and we could not get item past that had to get a lift to put it in. Location itself was great and employees were wonderful. Also the trailer was full of screws, we had to pick them all out.Rachel F.
The mobile application when returning the van was horrific. I had to call Uhaul after the website failed to register my attempt at going through the after hours return steps. The uhaul representative confirmed that they saw I attempted to complete the process, yet my final bill still charged me an additional $20. The return process was never explained. I was told I could keep the truck until the next morning since it would be after hours. I was then charged an extra 20$ for a check in that had to be performed by them and the extra time I had the vehicle. My estimated total was 51$ I was charged 85$ in the end.Justice W.

No improvements for this location. I think we will rent from here for local needs despite having another location closer. The local location was ride to my husband when he left a message requesting a call back to discuss the overcharge on our credit card. The other location required us to hook the trailer up ourselves. This is not where I wanted to pick up the truck because it was a distance. I wanted one in the town were I was ordered it 2 months in advance but still had to drive a distance to pick up truck. Twice now Uhaul has refused to have trucks at requested dealer even with 2 months notice.Reta M.

Your website said this locations business hours were open 8-4. They were not opened. Also, because I did contactless pickup and It required me to use GPS to verify my location as part of the pick up and the address given by your website for pick up was 3207 SR 213 Stuebenville OH, I was at this site, I could see the Uhaul rental vehicles, but your website wouldn't let me complete the pick up process because apparently the GPS coordinates for your system to allow me to compete the pick up process was a mile up the road at the Hide it Storage lot. So I wasted 45 minutes of my day for a contactless pick up because the address for this place doesn't match the gps coordinates for contactless pick up. Did not believe, go try to do a contactless pick up.Rod H.

I will never use your company again. I filled the gas to the proper line and returned the truck. After it was checked in she charged me $50 because she said I didn't put gas in the truck. I have the receipt to prove it! I am extremely unhappy and that will be the last money you scam from me!Meredith G.
My experience... 1. Truck pulls to left and you have to counter steer the truck to stay in your lane THE ENTIRE TIME YOU ARE ON AN INTERSTATE. 2. Power steering cooler is spraying oil out onto engine bay and makes it smell like truck is on fire. 3. Windshield wiper hose came off of fluid reservoir multiple times and then the entire tank drains and you have to stop and reconnect hose and then buy washer fluid to refill. I had to do this 3x then eventually cut off an inch and a half of the stretched end of the hose (due to oil contamination on the rubber hose from steering cooler misting oil everywhere, oil swells rubber) and was able to reconnect it and made it the rest of trip 4. Fuel mileage on cruise control the entire time is nowhere near what is advertised. My average mileage for the entire 1000 mile interstate trip was 4.34mpg. Less than half of your advertisement claiming 10mpg. 5. Engine backfires and popping noises frequently while driving. 6. Transmission constantly downshifts and redlines engine and holds it there indefinitely until you put it in manual mode and select the next gear up no matter the grade you are on (uphill, downhill, level) it does this with tow mode on AND when it's off. 7. Loud clunking when steering 50% or more steering angle in either direction at low speeds can be felt in floor and in steering wheel. 8. Brakes squeal loudly intermittently. 9. Truck needs an alignment, steering wheel is off and it pulls on highway 10. Truck has previous body damage in multiple spots which was notated at time of pickup, it is rather obvious the truck was hand picked as the worst one in the fleet in Ohio where it was picked up as a means to get rid of the "problem child" truck for the one way ticket to Florida my rental offered the location. I NEVER SHOULD HAVE WENT WITH UHAUL, I have had several instances of renting trucks from your competitors (Penske, Enterprise, Budget) and have NEVER had a bad experience, let alone this nightmare. Customer service offered no help and had nothing to offer for solutions.Curtis H.
Instead of advertising a rate of $20 a day and 0.69c per mile, be honest about your rates and charges. This way when people look at their account and see a massive charge from u haul they don't freak out, because they actually know the policies and the prices.Ellie J.

Not recommended. No client oriented business. If you decide to go, read first the contract: too little in your favor there. Price for service not good (no lights, mudy and uneasy access).
