Tod BThe truck was clean. The mechanical was not very good. The truck ran rough and seemed like was possible battery or starter issues.
James MI was charged an additional $45+ because I returned the truck and didn't hit the gas gauge directly on the 1/4 tank mark or above. It couldn't have been more than 1/16 under the mark! And $45 for this?! A bit ridiculous in my opinion as you only provided me with a 1/4 tank of gas to begin with! Should be a full tank so there's no discrimination on the gauge! The truck also needs a new transmission as it struggles to get out of 2nd gear. Overall, it was not an ideal moving day because I was constantly in fear of the truck breaking down and then to get slapped with the extra fine was the icing on the cake. I will be using Penske or Budget from now on!
Kahley MUnfortunately there was an apparent glitch in the system so I was unable to do the 24/7 mobile app truck pickup and had to call to try and figure out how they could get me into the lockbox to get the keys to the truck that I was supposed to pick up at 7 am. The location didn’t open until 9:30 and so they had to get me connected with someone who would help which took some time. I had movers scheduled to be there at 8 to help us move which was about a 15 minute drive. They tried to suggest I go to another U-Haul site which was 5 miles away but about 10 more miles away from our moving location, I was afraid I would be running extremely late doing that. Anyway, someone was finally able to help me and we left the location around 8 am, I do appreciate all of the help from the people on the phone to get me into the box and on my way, I know glitches can happen but it was definitely added stress.

Hernan SThe moving pads and handtruck were not provided. I had to spend hours trying to locate and purchase replacement materials the night before our move (a Saturday night). Some rusty old lock wasted 10 minutes trying to read characters and open the lock.

Anyel DHaving the equipment that was advertised and rented would have made a huge difference in the move. I was disappointed that the follies and the furniture blankets were not in the truck as stated in my rental contact.

MIKE HThe site was fine but I was picking up before business hours. The App would not recognize that I was at the location and I had to call for assistance. The person assisting me was very nice and helped, but it was frustrating that the app would not work correctly.
Chris SDropped off at above location, as was advised that drop off could be made at any U-Haul location in Ft. Myers by BOTH 800 # and pick up location personnel. Had to "fight" to avoid paying petty fees & charges that I didn't owe.

Karen SThe manager was quite friendly, but the equipment was dirty on the inside. There was crumbs and stuff in the cab. The cab had a funny smell as well. When we went to return the vehicle, we attempted to do the self close, more than an hour before close, When we couldn’t, we were assured by the manager that the vehicle would be closed out before he went home. The vehicle was not closed out until the next morning. Ordinarily, this wouldn’t bother me, but it was the not keeping a service promise that justified this rating.
Matthew NI asked for a 20 foot truck, charged for a 20 foot truck, and received a smaller truck. It MIGHT have been 17 feet, but not 20 feet. It took 2 trips to move my apartment to a new new house. It should have only taken 1 trip.

SUZANNE SThe location of the truck was not the same as the map location. So I couldn’t get the truck or drop it off unless I drove a half mile south of the truck location. I logged in at a podiatry office, then drove to the truck location. I waited on hold 1.5 hours to get the truck, and when I returned it I waited 1.5 hours and never got an answer. They should at least update the map position so the gps locator will acknowledge the proper position of the truck! No one seemed to care there was an issue!

Matthew TCheck the vehicle for overall serviceability and roadworthyness. Parking break release was pulled out of the dash Upon entry the temp gauge showed 210F even though vehicle was ‘cold’. Check engine light came on in the first mile and did not go out, all gauges read in normal ranges. Towing warning light on and showing fault even though I was not towing And best social media contact from U-Haul sent me message after the site frozen me in endless loading cycle...”you must use Chrome”. What company restricts customers to just one browser? Up your game, you are the big player. Customers expect better.

MIchelle KThe pick up process was ridiculous. On top of changing our location the day before, without informing us. I called the new location the day before pick up to make sure the process would be smooth and he informed me it would. We arrived and followed the exact steps to retrieve the key, but it didn’t work. We did everything right. 45 minutes later, which was a waste of our valuable moving time, we finally got the key. The ONLY positive was the last person we talked to who was so friendly and helpful, but that was after talking to numerous people, none of whom helped. You guys need to get your app and pick up process working correctly or don’t bother offering it as an option!

Scott Dlove the location but the truck was not well maintain cause the driver's sun visor kept falling out. this was dangerous and frankly it was shocking the two times it happened luckily we were not using to block the sun when it did fall I do want to thank you for the location it save a lot of time being able to pick up in my neighborhood would like if you could get some smaller vehicles like a ford Connect size thank you

Cheyenne BThe truck was not available in the original location, so needed to travel 8 additional miles, then they didn't have the moving blankets that I ordered. So I have to drive to another location. Both location personnel was friendly, very helpful and accommodating. I was impressed at the drop off location, the receiver young guy was pro-active, very helpful, polite, fast and efficient, rare to find people like him in Florida.
