One of the best experience I had in renting a U-Haul over the years
Leonard E Black IIMac and Jim are extraordinary! The UHaul computer system was down that day. Mac spent so much time trying to work it. Mac stayed with the system and called me to let me know the contract and truck were ready. During my return I was running close to the check in time. Jim actually assisted me with my unloading process so I wouldn’t be late. Absolutely the kindest and most caring folks I’ve met in a very long time. I will always use this Punta Gorda location for all my UHaul and Storage needs. God Bless you Jim and Mac!

Isabella HassettI left during pick up Feeling ok with renting. I’m a single mom and it’s just my kid and myself loading/unloading etc. I was told to do what I needed and since I was running behind I was ok. As I went to drop the truck off? There was a multi car pile up which caused even more of a delay. When I went to drop Off the truck, the fella who was nice the day before was pretty upset and had been drinking. He wasn’t able to Listen, answer my questions nor hold a thought. I left very uncomfortable as I wasn’t sure what he would do. He seemed like two ppl. A nice person and a person about to flip his lid. Both My reservation’s were canceled yesterday even though I had a truck AND finally got a storage unit. The storage situation was also a mess! Then I was charged 163$. For what? I’m Unsure but if I would have known I was to be charged that much? I would have kept the truck longer as I could have used it.

Patricia HarperThe check in process to receive the truck was anything but easy. They took a photo copy of my license and then the system wanted it uploaded and it didn't work, the person renting me the truck had to call a help line because the system wouldn't upload my license, from the time I walked in the door to went I got the truck was over an hour all because of your reservation process or computer system.

Mark HexumThe experience was great up until I heard a different estimate on the total from what the U-Haul main number quoted me. Then upon getting into the truck I looked around and noticed immediately how filthy everything was the dash,floor,seats,stering wheel,even the windows were gross. I left stopped at the dollar general and bought Lysol wipes and wiped it down.I get back to my destination back the truck in open ed the door and noticed a terrible smell .we were going to just let it air out. Came back couple hours later and pulled the ramp out and I saw hair all over it looked up at the top where it pulls out and there was a huge dead rat. I was mortified. Needless to say I didn't go back near it my son came over and cleaned it out and sprayed it down with Lysol.Started sat packing so it was a late start.got done returned with the truck and could not get the web sight to check me in. It was saying my mileage was lower then what I started with. I never reported my starting mileage so the gentleman who I was sent to with my referance number . I left after trying for a hour put a note on the door to please call me as soon as possible. I never heard d from them....

Samuel SummersThe 15’ truck that I rented needs the driver side window checked. The road noise was quite loud. Also, it would be very nice if there were vans equipped with ramps or lifts. I didn’t really need a 15’ truck to move 2 items, but I did need some way to get them in and out of the truck with very minimal lifting. And this took the truck away from someone who may have needed it to move more items.

Heinz ImfeldTook 45 minutes to get the truck. Previous user had not logged it returned so system said it was not available. Not the fault of the site nor mine but caused quite a delay. Also, tank was not full. I filled it before returning and it took over 9 gallons for a 20 mile use. Site was great, previous user was not.

Frederick LawrenceThe gentleman did not expect to receive the Uhaul vehicle. Took longer than expected but he was trying to do a good job of checking the unit in and did so. I received a billing for $28.00 on my invoice from Uhaul, that was put on my credit card. When I emailed for a reason for the charge, the $28.00 was removed from the new invoice but no reason given. Sounds like a "rip-off" !! I still have to check to see if my credit card has been credited for $28.00 from Uhaul.
