The person who took my reservation should have told me or anyone else that I needed a major credit card to rent the cargo van or pick up truck. Because of this I had to go 3 additional miles out of my way when time was a factor. Then you have a new way of checking people in and your representative was very thorough however, as I said time was a factor for me and I almost cancelled the rental. You should inform your customers that they will need additional time because someone will be reviewing the rental policy and procedures. Also, another closer location had the box truck but guess what? they were not renting this day. Either they represent U-Haul or not.Michelle P.

Our reservation for a 12 x 6 trailer never got transferred from the Rio Rancho Unser location to Eubank and Indian School where they had sent us. So Eubank and Indian School sent us to Heights True Value. Fortunately, it was on our way but we live in Rio Rancho so unfortunate they did not have in Rio Rancho. The only problem at the Heights True Value is it took a while to get the trailer hooked up to our 2015 GMC truck. They received outside help and all was well after that. Fortunately, the load we were delivering was in Albuquerque so it wasn't a problem dropping it back off in Albuquerque.Terrance S.

The location was great. The UHaul experience was pretty terrible. I set up for mobile check in and arrived to checkin and started the process to find out UHaul requires multiple additional documents (none of which I had - nobody carries around their passport) or references. This step should've been done far before the checkin process and I have no understanding why it wasn't. I provided 2 references which it noted would be used if the vehicle wasn't returned. Well they utilized them right away and called them and they didn't answer so that caused all other issues and I had to call them to make sure they answered. All in all it took about 40 minutes and the very nice gentleman at the store was able to help me but a total failure and frustration on UHauls part. I drove vehicle 41 miles. When I went to â€œtop offâ€ the tank before returning it I was surprised with a 6 gallon gas bill. We did not pull anything in the truck and only hauled a small load so would definitely not account for this gas usage. The tank clearly wasn't completely full and I was paying to top off somebody else's experience which was very frustrating. Overall pretty terrible experience UHaul. Do better.LAURA M.

Truck had mechanical issues. I wish somebody would have test driven it before I rented it. 600 miles cost $240 in gas. The truck made a bad sound coming from mid-truck. It stalled 4 times on the trip.Larry R.

I dont appreciate being treated like a criminal because im renting a pickup. Having a list of all the conditions laid out to me like I'm a scammer when I first talked to the rental rep was incredibly offensive. I was told by the rep before he looked up my account he would have to get two contact numbers and confirm they knew me before I could rent the truck. Turns out, once he looked up my account, he only needed to call one. The fact that he needs to disturb and / or wakeup friends and family so I can rent a truck that im sure is GPS tracked is rather ridiculous. Im not sure what calling a random number I give the clerk and asking them if they know me accomplishes as far as security anyway. Its more security theatre than the TSA. I wont use satellite locations again.Glenn M.

The trailer wasn't ready to go and had to go back into store and change paperwork to another trailer. The first trailer had the wheel straps all wrapped up and the employee didn't want to take the time to fix it. SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE WHEN THE TRAILER WAS PREPPED TO GO TO THE NEXT COUSTOMER!!! wasted an extra 10 to 15 minutes.JAMES B.

It was nice that the the place was near my house and in a decent part of town, however, it was also located at a hardware store. There was wasn't someone manning the U-Haul counter (there wasn't really a labeled counter so it was difficult to know exactly where to go) so it did require quite a bit of waiting. I assumed the advantage of using the app to check in and check out was to skip the line and avoid contact with people, but this was certainly not the case at this facility. Maybe at a specific U-Haul rental store and not a contracted location use of the app would have been more streamlined.Jaren G.

The truck I rented has a slow leak in back tire, so we swapped it for the other truck. That ended up with a slow leak as well. I would recommend that the uhaul staff check the basics like tire air pressure before sending it outSarah L.

Worst customer service ever. My reservation was messed up. Had to wait almost 3 hours for a truck when my appointment was at 12. I was told that â€œI need to call fucking uhualâ€ that it wasn't their job it was mine. The service was incredibly slow at the pickup location and I was the only customer for UHaul at that time. I highly recommend UHaul withdraw from this location. The customer service interaction was poor and borderline arrogant. They were disorganized and distracted by other things. Dump this location as a UHaul representative.James W.

My pick up was delayed over 30 minutes because of them and then i called about that later in the morning and they said we can give it to you till six no problem and never said they were charging me more money and then charged me more behind my back.
