The locks on the lock box stuck and I needed to ask the store attendant to assist me with opening the lock. He said that this usually happens and there's a special way to open it. However when I went to the store to receive help, during regular store hours, there was no attendant in there and I was left waiting for help. I had to phone U-Haul for assistance and each time i Phoned them I am put on hold for a lengthy period of time. This was a rather long delay and unnecessary.

I didn't receive the truck i requested, making it basically undriveable for my group, thus creating more stress and headache. I also didn't receive the equipment i ordered. i also was charged for the 15 foot truck, even though i ordered the 10 foot.

Extremely dissatisfied with the experience. No point of having an online booking system if we have to go through the same set of steps at the pick up location. Also, I selected a pick up location which was convenient for me, but when I went there, they asked me to go to another location to get the vehicle. Convenience and punctuality are two vital components of the customer service in logistics and sad to see U-Haul has started slipping that grip gradually.

The interior of the store had a very foul odour. I dropped off the truck with the same fuel level I had received it at, however he tried to tell me I had not at first. I showed him a photo I took when I picked it up of the fuel level and he signed off on it saying it was fine. He was nice, but the inside of the store was almost unbearable.

The truck was at 1/4 tank when I picked it up. The man that I dealt with at the store was rude. He didn't seem to be very interested in helping me. I won't be getting a truck from that store again.

Additional rental items (pads and dolly) were not in the truck when I picked it up. Location was not opened yet (9:00 am) so I went without. Key lock box was frozen. Fortunately someone was there to open it. Parking lot was not plowed (more than 48 hours after snowfall) and it was difficult to get the truck out.

The guy was rude. In the end when he asked where I wanted to drop off the truck and I said I would bring it back there. He was huffy and said he would have to start all over again. He didn't know the other drop off locations and ended up showing m his computer for me to choose. He didn't know which of the trucks went with the keys. He told me to look for the number on the truck. The trucks were all Covered in snow so I had to go test the key with the truck. The parking lot was not plowed, it was icy and a complete mess I will never ever pick up or drop off at this location.

it was just OK of a place to get a uhaul I screwed up meaning I only deal straight with a full uhaul and I don't know how I call this concession street instead of upper wellington street so right away there was only 1 10 foot truck I drove alot of uhauls around plus I usesed drive alot of different straight trucks like the biggest 28 feet plus 4 foot sleeper I had right away was fighting with this 10 foot uhaul and being no other and on a very tight schedule I carry on using and praying it would this 7 mile in town move the problem was

I paid 125.00 by debit. I returned the truck on time. The clerk told me i had to call 1-800 UHAUL as the could not give my refund on my debit, only credit card. I called U haul on Monday, the next day, and there is no difference in the process. I went back to HastyMarket and they processed my refund of $62.88 into my account last evening. Then today, it was withdrawn back out of my account. I have been told it takes 3 business days, but why was it refunded then taken out again. Not impressed nor happy

Virtual check in process seemed long and complex and took about 30 min all in. Some of the info like providing ID etc could be done in advance to save time day of.

The day I picked up the van it was snowing. I'm not sure what type of tires were on the vehicle but I noticed that the tires slip a little bit which is unsafe. The tire most likely has to be changed. Also, I asked the front desk whether they have any snow brush because I saw the van is fully covered in snow. Anyway, I ended up brushing the snow off the windshield with a piece of cartoon which isn't exactly the most decent way to do it.

The location was fine, but U-haul didn't call me to tell me that my pick up location had changed, even though they said they did. I never received a call and when I went into my reservation portal, the pick up location still indicated that my pick up location was at the previous location, not the updated one.

The truck sounded terrible, pulled to the right. Agreement indicated quarter tank of gas. The gauge indicated only 43 miles to empty. Have used Ihaul before no issues. This time not so good

I was disappointed in the wait time for my contract to be approved. I had to send a message via the messenger option saying I was at the truck and waiting or further instructions on getting the key. Once approved the erk at Busy Bee was very friendly so no problem there. I got in the truck and there was garage and receipts in the cab which I took a picture of and attached to the contract. The truck clearly was not cleaned between uses and considering we are in a pandemic I was not impressed. I have used uhaul many times and was very disappointed in this recent use. The person helping me was also annoyed

I don't know if it's the connection, program, or hardware that is the issue. The point-of-sale handheld device where you sign the contract and enter the credit card is unuseable at this location. I am VERY uncomfortable with "things going wrong" while my credit card is inserted in some janky pos. I probably wont go back to this location. The guy was nice enough, but this is unacceptable to me

The truck was dirty inside: drink spill, dusty dash, cargo door would stick, driver's side mirror was stuck so it showed the side of the truck not the road (the small wide angle mirror was able to show the road.

This was the worst possible exchange. I went to get the truck.fill put the forms and then pay. I go to drive away and a woman and store attendant are flagging me down. Apparently this specific truck was reserved for this lady but I'd also reserved a truck.id already signed the papers and payed and had a legal rental agreement in my hand and then the woman started getting irate and I had to tell her to shut up. In the end this caused me a lot of stress and I even had to give the lady 50 bucks so she would de escalate. How does this happen.i was even more rushed for my move and my people were all pissed off at me. I be thinking twice before I can again. But I'd like to hear your comments on this.

I would not recommend anyone pick up this location. The gentleman who ran the convenience store complained to me after I spent more then $500 on a truck that he had lost 2 customers while he was serving me durinv pick up. We received the truck with almost an empty tank of gas which he did not know about, and clearly had not checked himself. He didn't bother to check the mileage either, we had to check and make sure it was correct upon both pick up and return. Upon returning the truck, he tried to double charge me, telling me he had only taken a deposit, even though I had already paid up front, and told him that multiple times. Right when I was about to pay, he actually checked his paper work, and realized I was correct. Would not recommend this location.

The uhaul sig/payment machine woudn't load properly, so I had to enter my credit card info on the service persons phone. I am uncomfortable with that but there was no other way at the time to complete the transaction. Otherwise went very smoothly

I have beeln charged double for my rental, and when i booked the safemove was 15$ and my final bill reflected that as 30$ and rent went up to 39.99$ from 19.95, not sure how?. The total bill for 4hrs was 109.45$. That is ridiculous. I will never take it from here.

I arrived to pick up the truck and it hadn't been returned yet so I had to wait and call Uhauls customer service to try and get a different truck. By the time I got through to customer service, the truck arrived and I was able to go from there. It was still very inconvenient and delayed my move by about an hour.

Did not go over the vehicle with us. Did not have dollies told us to go to a different location for them they MIGHT have them. Reserved a 20ft got a fifteen was not large enough so we had to leave stuff to pick up this week. (3 hour drive). Very disappointing.

Fuel reading was wrong. I went 15 Miles, put 10 Litres of gas in it. Brought it back and the guy said I still had to pay for an additional 10 Litres of fuel based on the gas gauge. Gauge was incorrect or malfunctioning. So I spent an additional $16 on gas. So either the U-Haul Vehicles are very inefficient or I was really 'ripped off'. So in total I paid for 20 Litres of gas... that means that that vehicle got 15 Miles/20 Litres or 0.75 Miles/Litre of gas... or 1.2Km/1Litre of Gas... boy I will never rent a UHaul Truck again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about the 'rip off'. I believe I should be refunded the $16 I was overcharged for gas when I brought the vehicle back... then I would feel like things were 'right'.

Having lights near the vehicle would help with pickup inspections and taking pictures of documents and such, it would also, be useful to somehow encourage people to park away from the wall, because when the wall is too close, you can't take a picture of the truck or even see it properly.

It would have been a lot easier to drop off and park if there were signs designating where trucks are to be left. A truck was blocking the entrance driveway and a huge vacant lot was posted with signs saying "Authorised use Only" and also had its access curbs blocked. What a sh*t show. You had to drive past the corner store to actually see the U Haul sign on the face of the building. Sigh..... On the positives, the fellow in the store was pleasant and loaned me his broom to sweep out the truck.

The box of the truck wasn't cleaned at all before we picked up the truck. There was a lot of debris and the cabin was also not cleaned. There was customer information from the previous renter and garbage as well. When I informed the u-haul representative of this when dropping off the vehicle, he did not seem concerned or to care at all.
