Lower prices should not be charged so much for a 15f truck to go 40miles.

Without a phone call with clear instructions on how to return and pickup online or your phone I should say, would not recommend any location that is not uhaul staffed. It was confusing as all get out. Not an easy process especially when i don't receive the email or text until after i left the location. Had to drive back and the inly lock box was full and locked. Had to give the keys to the cashier inside the convenience mart who had BO info on any anything. So she has the keys. Just a bad experience all the way around

I was more than thrilled since we had people that came to help and that would have been a bummer if we had no truck! I am grateful for U-Haul and Harry's Sunoco in Scottsville NY. And the lady from U-Haul on the phone was EXTREMELY pleasant and friendly!!!

Lori J.Dropping off the truck was no problem but the UHaul person responsible for checking in the truck was not there and did not check the truck in until 6 day later which prompted UHaul recovery to email us looking for the truck. Customer service at the recovery phone number was helpful and took care of the problem
Kevin L.Before this location, this was not our original choice to pick up. It was an hour away. The company said they'd give me miles and extra days ( though I was charged for these in the end ).The gas station doesn't get many uhaul customers it seems. The cashier couldn't get me the uhaul. He called two people and after about 15-20 minutes. Tom called back and he confirmed my truck, my 3 days, my mileage, but they had my dolly (which was broken), but no furniture pads. Tom was apologetic, offered my pads for free if I go to another uhaul. Also, a $50 credit for the inconvenience and not having my items there as promised. I never got the contract saying what I was getting, gas in the tank or anything at check-in. I thought that was odd but worse was I never got the credit, didn't get 12 pads, only 6. And when I dropped off, I got overcharged.

Jennifer S.The U-haul was buried in snow and covered in ice. The convenience store owner called some guy named "Tom" that I am assuming works for U-haul and he told us that he didn't have the furniture pads that we requested. Also, nobody helped us prepare the truck for driving. We literally had to use a hammer to chip away at ice around the cargo door until it opened. Also, there was still garbage left in the back of the U-haul that we had to remove. We got there at 4:40pm (20 minutes before our 5pm reservation) and the truck wasn't ready to be driven until after 5:15pm. This is UNACCEPTABLE. Overall, just a horrible experience and if U-haul doesn't do anything to compensate me for this major inconvenience I will never use them for moving again.
Steven B.I am very unhappy with your reservation people I was told there was no truck where I reserved it the day before and wanted me to drive 45 min. the opposite direction I needed to go. the person was very rude and did not want to help she finally found one where I was dropping off only 10 min away people should know locations and be nice!!
