the lady need to be more knowledgeable for renting out a u haul truck after she gave keys to me she left didn't do a walk around or anything, didn't have the right dolly that I requested to have but got a dolly that worked for me at the time.

They went out of there way to get what we needed. They went to Fort Smith Arkansas to pick it up for us to pick it up in Spiro Oklahoma.

They were rude, took my paperwork which was supposed to be my receipt given to me when I rented the Uhaul. Did not give me a receipt showing I turned in rental. Basically acted like they didn't want to deal with the details of rental returns.

I drove Uhaul 50 to 60 miles top and this location in Spiro OK said I went 120 miles. I did not and they charged me an extra $83 dollars. Not an honest location at all.

The person @pickup was part time, extremely pleasant & apologetic for not knowing what to do. Tow dolly was broke. I had to rig up my own clasp to hang onto the tire. Uhaul had no equip. In Arkansas and I was out of time. I had to use your defective equip. and pray my car followed on our trip.

I wasn't happy with my new Hulk movie U-Haul today took way too long to get things ready thanks you guys should try to have a rate for half a day I didn't even have U-Haul 24 hours on the counter from like 10 to 4:30 and I charge $49 that's $14 for the insurance and gas when I'm happy with the people that were in that U-Haul place thank you could use a lot of improvement

What a convenient location for drop off. I've never rented from this location but have dropped off at this location three times.

Please be available to answer phone calls, I could not get through to discuss my reservation. I had to have help picking up a truck, this location changed my reservation by taking off the safe move package. The person picking up did not know otherwise.

I was told by the Towson U-Haul that the equipment I needed was at this location only to find out that they did not have the car hauler I needed. It wasn't this locations fault. U-Haul can't keep track of their equipment.

I've only used the 24 hour drop off here when they were closed. Easy drop off. They need to have some kind of signage near their mailbox drop to indicate it's also where to drop off the keys for the rental vehicle. Other than that minor thing, it's super convenient and much appreciated.

My parents and I have been renting from Brandy here and let us tell you we couldn't be more pleased with the quality of service! Brandy went above and beyond to find what we needed weekly, be it trailers, 10 ft trucks, 14 ft trucks, Brandy went out of her way to get us what we needed. Nothing to improve on when you go out of your way to help your customers! We are almost moved, but we'll miss our weekly time with Brandy! This uhaul location is an asset and essential need to this town and community!

Everything was great, just put up turn in instructions in the window, near the mail box. There wasn't enough room to park a 26' truck and car trailer in their parking spaces so I parked the truck across the side street where other UHaul trailers were parked, locked it up, put the key in the mail slot and left. I assumed that was probably where I needed to leave the truck and trailer but wasn't sure about security, etc. However, everything worked out fine.

I had also rented a car dolly and the lady there had no idea how to use it. It was pouring rain and I had to walk to the grocery store next door and two men from the meat department came to help me load my car onto the dolly. When I got to my house (25 minutes away) there was not a utility or appliance dolly like I had requested in the truck. I called the uhaul store in Fort Smith AR on Townson Ave and they kindly provided me with the dollies I needed. When I returned the truck to the Prosper TX location it turned out the Spiro location had not even rented me out the car dolly. I have used used uhaul lots of times because I move for my job and I have never had an experience like I did this time.

I call and told me 74.00, when I got there it was 169. 00 . I thought that was a big differents. I bought the truck the next morning, so I think, I got the bad end of the deal.

Made a call to drop off the trailer, not open, had to get my pastor to call someone and get in touch with them. they told us where to drop off the trailer and we did. They tried to charge me extra day rental and I called them and told them of the phone call. They took off the extra charges. If we are told by Uhaul to drop off a trailer and we get there in plenty of time on that Saturday and no one is there, that is not good. So i would suggest that if the drop off site is closed on the day the drop is supposed to be, then list one that is open. thanks

When we got the truck home and opened the back to start loading our furniture it was full of live ROACHES. Since we were under time constraints, and we also had to drive to a different town to pick up the truck, we had to spray the inside of the truck before loading it.

I was not told that I had to drive to spiro, OK to get my trailer. I set it up for fort smith, AR and when you are driving 10 hours from texas, that extra little bit is an inconvenience. I was loading up in mansfield which is 30 min from fort smith so I had to go 45 min to get my trailer. They never even called to make sure I could go to spiro, I found out when I called to tell them I was in town that I had this extra drive. VERY INCONVENIENT! I was very unsatisfied and then the equipment number did NOT match the number listed on the paper work so I had to explain this to the uhaul in texas when they called and asked what the "status" was for my trailer. I dropped it off on Sunday and this was Tuesday when they called to ask about it. I advised her that the status was that it has been in their parking lot since Sunday which is what we were advised to do when we called them sunday. I had to tell her the numbers did not match. I didn't even notice when I picked the trailer up since nothing was as planned. I did all of my reserving online and felt this should have been handled diffrently. Someone should have called me sooner and told me to expect a longer drive for pick up, what would they have done if I could not have picked it up? they would have said 'oh well, not my problem. " and I would have had to make other plans. and what would they have said if they could not locate the trailer with the unmatched numbers, "oh well, you still have to pay extra, not my problem" I would have be left out wondering what to do. so I will go where it is not my problem, and use a diffrent moving service next time I move. Thanks anyway, uhaul.

We initially made our reservations (in person) with U-Haul in Roland, OK (five miles from our home). We were told U-Haul would have a 20-foot truck for us on Sat., June 2nd, at 7 a.m. Our order was not confirmed by e-mail until Friday afternoon at 3 p.m., telling us our reservation had been moved to a different location and also changing the time. The location was 25 miles (Spiro, OK)from our home. My husband is disabled (age 77) and I could not drive the truck (age 75). We had people and a driver standing by to load at 7 a.m. on Sat. morning, and people standing by to unload 90 miles away as soon as the truck arrived there. We were bumped from 7 a.m. to 12 noon and at a location 25 miles away, not 5 miles. We were told there was not another truck available with a 200 mile radius. We were offered a 9 x 16 trailer (it was raining). We had no choice but to call our 14 loaders and unloaders and our driver and change the time from 7 a.m. to 12 noon. My disabled husband managed to drive the truck the 25 miles from Spiro back to our home, but could go no further. Thankfully, our driver was there. We were forced to leave our furniture on the truck overnight at our destination and begin the unloading on Sunday morning. What REALLY displeases us in all this is that U-Haul KNEW there would be NO truck available for us on Saturday morning at 7 a.m. when we made our reservation. The gentleman in Spiro was very pleasant and the price was right (new truck, only 4500 miles on it, total cost was $180.00). They also gave us an extra day for our inconvenience (which we did not use). However, we will not use U-haul again and will not recommend it to our friends. The CEO of your company should be made aware of the stress they place on their customers when they change the reservation time and location without notifying the ones paying the bill (we received the "changed" e-mail on Friday afternoon at 3 p.m).

Although the equipment was clean the trailer is in need of maintenance. It could barely be pulled at the reccomended speed limit with out fish tailing out of control but we were passed, like we were sitting still, by the same trailer being pulled by a smaller car.

The truck was not available at the pick up location when it was supposed to be. It was to be picked up in Spiro, OK, but was actually sitting in Ft. Smith, AR - 40 miles away. I had to re-schedule my loading crew for a different day. It cost me $52 for another night in that location, as well as several more meals at restaurants and extra gasoline for the extra trips to and from Spiro to go back and get the truck when it was finally there. I was supposed to be reimbursed for the cost of the motel stay ($52), but I am not sure that happened. The cost of my rental was supposed to be $1675-$52=1623+tax. My card was charged for $1725.68. This would mean I was charged 102.68 for tax, which does not seem right. Also, it is very difficult to return a truck with the same amount as was in the tank at pick-up when it is a partial tank. The rental should begin with a full tank and returned with a full tank. I had to return my truck with approximately $20 more in fuel than was in it when I got it. Penske is beginning to look like my next rental company.

I used a credit card and the charges were more than the amount quoted. They marked the gas guage at 3/4 but it was only 5/8 of a tank, I pointed that out, they noted it on the paper work, but when I refilled the tank at 5/8 of a tank they still filled it up to 3/4 and charged me for that too. All in all they are crooks. DO NOT USE THEM, NO MATTER WHAT! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, PLEASE! I do not waiste my time writing reviews, and I am very laid back, but I was charged over 30 dollars extra, and I am quite upset.
