Allow your customers to drop off your trucks were they are moving without charging them a $200.00 drop off fee.

It isn't common knowledge that “neighborhood dealers†have a different contract to sign than uhaul. I have rented many U-Hauls before and never had issues dropping the van off at another location. That should have been made very clear that the van I rented was an In town rental only and that it could only be returned to the same location. Not only did this cost me more money to drive the van back to the location it came from but I had to cancel appointments as well to accommodate for the error. As a customer, I couldn't possibly have known that the contracts I sign to rent from a dealer vs. uhaul are different. It was very inconvenient for me all the way around and I will never use another neighborhood dealer again. It's a headache, and creates more issues than needed. This is not my first experience with a neighborhood dealer and every experience has been terrible. I prefer directly from uhaul company itself because it's straight to the point and nothing is hidden. Everything is made crystal clear upon contract signing to take the truck or van.

We were informed that the car hauler had a winch as we were moving a 1954 Chevy that didn't run. I had to go purchase a $80.00 electric winch to load the car. It was a specific question that was stressed about the importance of a winch. Besides that our experience was great.

Great location to rent from. The perfect help I needed.
I was told on the phone one price which was around 350 but when I got there it was 430. Big difference!! It was already a lot to pay in the first place and then to get hit with hidden fees. And you know you have us bc we have to have a truck and who can you call last minute 🤷ðŸ¼â€â™€ï¸
My final bill was not correct I was charged for miles that I did not use
They know what they are doing and I could not have ask for better customer service, speed and availability. Great Job!
The truck had a big issue with the front tire, bad, bad vibration. Took it to service location in Springfield M O on Gelnstone Ave. Ben the service tech and others were outstanding

Don't wait until less then 24 hours to let the person know where to pick up the vehicle, the girl at the desk at Hard Hat was awesome, very friend, informative. The person who called me was rude when I told her moving was stressful enough with out waiting until the last minute to make arrangements. The truck was clean and was larger then what I was going to get because they didn't have any 15 foot, so that worked out nicely. The truck had Arizona license plates and no doubt was time to retire it, I'm sure it had a lot of miles. It served the purpose thank God I was only moving 14 miles because I don't think it has many miles left. All in all was ok experience. But could definitely Improve their services.

Only negative is the unavailability of a dolly - I reserved a dolly but the location did not have an available dolly.
Very quick and friendly service. I prepaid online and was in and out in a very short time.
Ramp was too short. Could not load heavy furniture.

Customer service to online reservations to questions answered was incredible! There equipment was top notch clean new ! Car transport as well very easy to use ! Gas was only 18.00 dollars for 100 miles ! That was loading unloading plus delivering truck back ! I recommend uhaul ! For a safe secured and happy successful move !!! Booked a 5x8 trailer online. It ready when I arrived and the checkout was fast and efficient. The service representative assisted with hookup and light function check. It took less than 10 minutes and I was heading out the driveway.
I have used Hard Hat Gear for my last 2 u-Haul rentals and they have been so great both times. I highly recommend this location. The staff is great and have gone above and beyond what you'd expect.

My U-Haul experience started with a trailer rental reservation at handyman rentals in Nixa Missouri. I get a call less than two hours before I was supposed to pick up the trailer saying I would have to pick it up at another location because someone in traffic screwed up. After a few phone calls and a little research I found out U-Haul was supposed to pay me $50 because of the reservation guarantee which I was told I would be getting and got the email confirmation saying $50 will be credited my card but I have yet to see it. I ended up getting a truck because it caused me to be short on time and ended up having to use the truck for another day. What should've cost me $15 or so ended up costing me around 100 and even with the $50 U-Haul has yet to reimburse me for for their screwup my moving experience still cost me more money than it should have. All that said none of this is the fault of hard hat and they are an excellent place to rent from.
Smooth sailing, as usual. Easy out, easy in.
The internet order took me to another location first. It also cut off 20 hours from my original order. Take out the middle men and the process might become more reliable?
