my second time using uhaul during this moving process and this second experience was as terrible as the first (after being encouraged by some supervisor that the first did not meet their standards and to try their company again) the first time drove to some far away city in Florida to find out they did not have ANY trucks, then got sent to some other far away city to finally pick up a truck extremely larger than i had hoped for AND not get all of the purchased equipment (my return was never processed either). When i tried to drop off the truck a worker felt the need to argue with me for 5 minutes that they didn't accept those trucks because they were too big (even though it was on my payment summary to drop it off there). this second time, i got a call in the morning to pickup from a uhaul pick up location 20 miles from the scheduled location.. there was shattered glass in the parking lot so i decided to leave my car parked in their gas station stalls as opposed to the uhaul lots. the trucks was disgusting and sticky, with a visible stain of someone spilling a milkshake from to cup holder to floor. The engine light came on while i was on the freeway. the truck at some point started driving slower and slower as i still tried to press on the gas. i pulled over (ON THE FREEWAY) to restart truck hoping it was just an error from when i started the engine up, nope. There was really an issue with the engine. I had to drive on the right side of the freeway the entirety of the trip because the truck would spontaneously start to decline in speed, thank god it never fully stopped. I had to call customer service on my way back to drop off truck because i was not sure the truck would make it. I was very upset with service and lack of care. People renting equipment from your company are trusting that this equipment is appropriately operable, they expect at the very least safety and peace of mind. Moving is stressful enough, the added stress of â€œwill this truck even make itâ€ was horrible. Shame on you, terrible product, terrible customer service experience.Makeda M.

The true benefit of this location is the late availability. It was very convenient for a late pick up. The down side was the truck could use some maintenance. The oil light and battery light were on. Also there was no knob for the window so we could not roll down the window.Angus W.

The truck should be taken off the road. Clearly no one inspects the trucks because that truck should have not been allowed to be driven with those bad brakes or the jerking when trying to stop. It was an unsafe vehicle. I told the store owner about the issue.Cynthia A.

It was a dump. The guy called me 6 times within 3 hours about changing the time for pick up. Then when I got there, it was 40 minutes before I got the truck even though I'd made the reservation a week before. And he was having his son who was obviously too young to be working so everything. He saw customers in the gas station before me even though he identified me by name when I walked in. The whole experience was terrible.Taylor E.

Employees are not customer friendly. I had a reservation but employee stated couldn't find it so he canceled my reservation and rebooked it incorrectly. So upon my return the next employee wanted to charge me extra. I explained the situation and he corrected it but his attitude and tone was not friendly. I will never use this location again.Taylor D.

Wouldn't let me get my uhaul Corp. Made me pay credit card charge me for fuel and I already had put fuel in did. Not give me contract. I would not recommend this location to anyone! I am a 52-year-old man who has rented a u-haul many times over and was never asked to sweep out the back of the u-haul by a teenager. First of all, I only had about 8 items to move from one home to another in a short distance, I was never in any dirty areas with dust or anything. I never felt so disrespected and belittled EVER! I wonder if I looked different if he would have asked me to sweep the back out? Has anyone ever been asked these questions before? Then I received a threatening call from the owner going off of me because I asked the kid if I were white would he have asked me that question and is this a policy they have for all cutomers and does U-Haul support this? WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!EARRON P.

Helpful service at the citgo. But truck was not clean, no key hole for driver side door. Truck needs to be better maintained. But owner was friendly & helpful. Compared to the horrible service i recieved at the 1244 collier rd , Atlanta, ga location & even more rude, horrible service, with kids crying in the back Ground female representative working at the 523 Joseph E. This was a nightmare! I had a three day schedule and I was given the run around concerning my reservation, originally it was schedule at a different location then switched the night before my move to another location. This was not an actual Uhaul storage location but a gas station owner who was renting the Uhauls he had no knowledge or understanding about my reservation. I waited nearly a hour and a half to get my truck which I had a reservation for. He did not inspect my truck and I was left to attach the car port to the Uhaul truck myself. Not to mention I was having problems with the Uhaul truck from Atlanta to Arizona the transmission was causing me problems it would shake every time I reached 55 miles per hour this trip was reserved for 6 days and it only took me 3 days which I was not told I would not need the 6 days. I was frightened my whole trip to Arizona with Semi trucks and other vehicles speeding pass me but I didn't want my trip to be delayed because I was exhausted. The owner charged me an additional 80 dollars for the car port which he said I would get back once I arrived to Arizona but how he entered the information it looked to the company as if he just charged me for the car port insurance which was supposed to have been waived because of reservation troubles.Evie G.
My reservation was set at different location then they transferred it to a third party the day before my moving day. When I got their my information was not in the system had to keep calling customer service, they didn't have my carport tow on there. And the topper once everything that I thought was straighten out once I got on the road to move out state the transmission on the truck was slipping the whole ride.
