The online checkin process was not quick. After checkin I was informed the equipment (furniture dolly) couldn't be provided. That was a critical need to make my move a success so I had to go to Home Depot to buy them. It was very frustrating and forced me to rush my move as I only had the loading dock booked for a 3 hour window.Wayne F.

There was almost no gas in the tank when we left. We had to put gas in just to begin our move. And then we were charged for gas AGAIN after returning the vehicle. Why wouldn't you just have your trucks full at all times? So customers can return them full and not feel ripped off?JEREMY P.

Equipment was not available, worker said that Uhaul was supposed to call me but they never did. They then assigned me a 10ft truck but no change in price. Additionally, the worker stopped me mid transaction to take care of another customer. The costumer asked for â€œflowersâ€, of which there were none, and the worker handed the man a CRACK PIPE. The clerk behind the counter when i returned the truck was extremely unhelpful. I asked about the gas it took, return procedure, and if there was anything i needed to do other than hand him the keys and he said no. I drove all the way home, to then check my email telling me i need to do a return truck procedure (photos, mileage, proof of gas, etc.) so i had to drive all the way back to the pickup location and complete the return.ELISA M.

When I dropped off the truck the guy in the cashier's booth asked for the keys and said â€œthat's itâ€. Didn't check the vehicle for damage (there wasn't any), didn't check for the dolly or pads (they were all there), never checked the mileage (2210) - nothing. Handed him the key and left. This is a service station and he was the only guy working in the little cashier booth so maybe he couldn't do any more than what he did, but it's not the kind of drop off experience I expected, and left me wondering if I was going to get charged for things later. The truck was returned exactly as required, but I got nothing saying U-Haul agreed.Geoffrey M.

I find the services and the staff at Hanover St BP to be Absolutely Superb. With their new lines of trucks their vehicles are clean and well maintained. Whether registering On-line or in person the BP staff is very accommodating. I am a loyal customer and would strongly suggest that friends utilize this UHAUL location at 2401 S Hanover Street for all future moving needs.William H.

Dolly was wet from being left in the rain so I didn't use it (waste of money). Truck wasn't ready on time so I missed my appointments. Prepaid, was told we had not paid. Was charged additional rental over and above the prepaid fees which we were told was all we would have to pay. Price was over the advertised price. Fuel was delivered significantly below amount indicated in contract. Contract indicated 5/8 full, when in fact fuel was 1/4 full (took picture). Truck smelled and had trash in it.ANDREW L.

None of the items ordered and paid for were included. There was no staff who could help. I had to call for support, and I was sent to a remote location that didn't have all the equipment needed. I had to pu again for what I already paid for. I was delayed and I got charged for the delay in returning the van. I had to drive extra miles, and I had to pay extra for the miles I had to drive I am not planning on using UHaul again at this time.Balazs N.
The Hanover St BP, located at 2401 S Hanover Street in Baltimore, rented me a truck that was literally falling apart. The trailer connection socket in the rear of the vehicle was hanging off. The door for the storage compartment located below the cup holder was completely missing. The driver's door was difficult to lock, and on occasions, DIDNOT LOCK. In fact, when I first located TM 2966S, a 10 feet box truck bearing AZ plate AG64674 the door was not fully closed and was unlocked. I informed the UHAUL rep about my concerns and, as he was busy gazing into his telephone, he indicated that he was aware of the problems with the truck and that it would be okay. As a result of me being extremely pressed for time I kept the vehicle but 3 miles later, after the vehicle had problems going into gears, I decided that it was not in my best interest to use the truck for my moving purposes. It should be noted that this facility has changed (for the worse) in the past months. My account was charged $33.00 for a bogus gas charge. The UHAUL rep indicated that it took that amount to restore it to the original gas amount when I checked it out. After taking into consideration that the facility had committed the same act on a previous occasion, I am committed to using my camera to verify all purchases involving gas usage. Upon submitting my proof that the facility was mistaken or outright misrepresenting the truth, my $33 was reversed back into my account. UHAUL should take steps to assure that it's representatives adhere to a higher standard of responsibility, As so far as the rep's attitude, I would suggest that he take vehicle # 2966S and use it as a "Gas Propelled Suppository".William H.

Instructions for the key pick up were not very clear but eventually we figured it out. Process of verification took about 20/25 min, maybe it should be started earlier from home.Alfonso L.
The arm holding the wheel of the truck in place became completely disconnected while I was driving (at a modest pace in a safe manner). Extremely dangerous! I have pictures. I tried to call customer service twice, and emailed, and tried to do the online chat - no response from any of those options! The vehicle needs to be taken out of rotation until it can be fixed, someone could be very seriously injured.Amanda R.
