The price was too much. I took the truck 6pm and I returned it 8 pm same day and I was charged $50.i was really not happy but there was nothing I could do.

AMIT NI made the reservation on the app for 8:30am, and when I went to pick up the truck, I discovered that U-Haul had changed the pickup time to 4:30pm and that they had changed the pickup location. When I arrived at the other location at 4:30am, they said that the previous customer had not returned the truck and that if I wanted it, I would have to get a smaller truck from another location that is even further from my house. In short, I had to pay 5 more hours for the helpers, and I had to spend more on transportation because with a smaller truck I had to go twice to pick up things.

WAYNE DExtremely dirty truck, lack of u-haul supplies (pre ordered online but was not available). Pickup took over an hour, parking lot minimally accessible, booking system failed on operator end resulting in having to manually call U-Haul to secure pickup. Inability to verify truck location more than 24/hr ahead is an extremely stressful thing when moving large distances. Both u-haul rentals ended up being placed over an hour apart even though local units were seen available. Moving across the country was made incredibly more difficult and stressful due to U-Haul experience. Overall terrible experience, would never recommend. Drop of location was an actual U-Haul facility, staff in Kelowna were very nice and helpful, only redeeming aspect of this.
Bailey NWhile the service rendered at the pickup location for a one way rental to Ottawa was fine, this was not the original pickup location in Hamilton that was booked. We were notified of the change when we were less than two hours from Hamilton and all other arrangements had already been made. Having to drive to Welland to pickup the rental truck during heavy rush hour traffic was time consuming and unsettling. Additionally, none of the supplies that we preordered were available at the new pickup location, meaning we still had to drive to the original pickup location in Hamilton to get the supplies. Even then, there was confusion about the supplies that were ordered and why these had not been allocated at the Welland location. All in all, with the exception of the movers that were precooked for loading in Hamilton and unloading in Ottawa, these changes made for a stressful move. I am looking to U-Haul to reimburse us for the additional fuel costs of having to drive our private vehicle from Hamilton to Welland return.
