Only 1 â€œworkingâ€ trailer was available in the area, and not at the location I booked (months prior - this was long scheduled as part of my cross-country move). The trailer I was assigned had zero brake fluid (bone dry) in the reservoir and a broken strap on the driver's wheel side. When I noticed these discrepancies and requested a replacement, neither the location nor the district office were helpful. Quote from desk manager: â€œwe don't check or repair the equipment, that's incumbent on the drop-off customerâ€. While that may be your corporate policy, it's a poor one and is ultimately going to get you sued. My trailer had no functioning brakes until the store owner put fluid back in the system. Had I not caught this issue (and utilized my own straps to replace the broken one) this could have led to a major accident. The store owners were ultimately helpful after I was very direct with them and pointed out their liability, but until they saw the unsafe condition of the equipment themselves were very unhelpful on the phone. The district office was worse, they were unsympathetic to the situation and were unwilling to provide replacement equipment.ROBERT G.

The only reason I did not rate this as excellent was because when I tried to return it from my phone there was a glitch and it kept telling me that my find my location was off on my phone when in fact it was not- so I was unable to complete my return property and it was on a holiday which is why I wasn't able to go in for assisstance. The tire was low when the service guy was told that the tire was low it took him 20 minutes to come out with an air bubble and fill up the tire and then it didn't even get enough air in it to keep the tire full within a few hours the tire was low again I had to run around town and get more air in the tire I should've gotten credit then this morning the tire wasn't just low the stupid service the tire light was onSheila M.

The experience at this store was fine, but the overall experience was a nightmare. Getting my reservation cancelled at the last second caused me to have to drive over an hour to get the trailer. I was especially annoyed when the customer service agent on the phone told me, "we can get you a trailer on monday." Do you not understand how moving works? I made a bunch of arrangements including reserving a trailer so that I could move on a specific day. UHauls crappy system not only cost me me both time as I was not able to leave until the next day and money as the 50 dollar reservation cancellation credit did not cover the cost of gas that I needed to get the trailer. I'm never going to use Uhaul again.QUAN N.

The manager was very friendly and helpful and understanding. Very quick and easy to use. And there wasn't 1000 papers that needed to be filled out! Highly recommend using online check in and highly recommend the location on Lacey in Hanford!Matthew F.

Lower your prices To equalize and not price gouge in California I paid $530 for a U-Haul plus insurance of 70 understand the insurance But in Texas that same U-Haul is $98 Going one way To California versus $530 going one way to Texas I felt that was totally price gouging from your company And unfair but when you're caught between a rock and a hard place you pay the price won't do it againJoy R.
