Bad neighborhood. Truck was a block away in another yard. The clerk pointed to it and told me to check for damage before I pulled out.

I've used Uhaul for a while This is the first time at this location. the reservation was for 9am and the store did not open until 10am. I did the checkin when I got there through the app and after I paid the app directed me to go into the physical store to get keys from manager. After calling the store multiple times with no answer I called uhaul, and with uhaul they bounced me around until I got a call from a field manager who instructed me to put a code in the rear lift door of the truck to obtain the keys. After returning the vehicle to the location the app instructed me to finalize the rental and it attempted to charge me twice for the rental. I have my credit card receipt stating I was charged for the rental and estimated milage. The only balance I owed was for 32 miles that I went over. horrible experience this time, I hope you all get it together.

The pickup location was fine, the employee was very helpful, but booking the van online was a terrible experience. I made an the arrangements in advance then the day before pickup I got a call informing me they do not have the van I booked and I would have to use a truck as well as pick it up from a father location. They told me to call the next morning to see if a van was available. I called the next morning and was informed vans are not available for one way trips, however when I made the reservation I selected a one way trip and it let me book a van. Why do you let people book vans for a trip they're not available for? Furthermore the new pickup location opened later, but my pickup time had not changed so I went there and had to wait half an hour to pick up the truck. There is severe miscommunication within and it was very inconvenient and frustrating.

We don’t feel like this is the place we can drop off the equipment. Nobody double checked the truck or the fuel level or give me the receipt or something that can prove we already returned the truck, in which made me a little bit worried and upset.
