I have a comment, not for the location, but for the whole system, I scheduled to pick up the truck in a location, the day before I received a call moving my order to another location that`s further than the original one (another city). The second location called few hours before the pickup and told me that maybe my truck wouldn`t be available on time, the Lady went far and beyond calling the other customers to get an update on timing and the pickup was delayed only 30 minutes. This new location didn`t have the dolly that I requested, I ended up getting an appliance dolly that somehow helped, but not the planned way. So, not the location, but the whole system appeared to be disorganized.DANILO B.
Upon arrival we were informed that we had to unhook the auto transport ourselves and place it inside the gate then drive the truck around to a parking spot. The other option given was if we didn't do this ourselves, we'd have to drive it to another location. Person had no knowledge on how to do this due to the statement from her that she didn't normally work at this location. Other than this, service at this location was pleasant but not helpful.CHRISTINA G.
U-Haul needs to honor the guests preference of truck size and location. We made our reservation 2 weeks in advance; the night before our pickup U-Haul calls to tell us that we were changed to a 26 ft truck (we ordered a 20ft) and they changed our location pickup 20 miles away from our choice location. It was take it or we will cancel the reservation. While we were traveling halfway through our trip U-Haul calls and changes our drop off location again 15 miles further than original location. NOT HAPPY WITH UHAUL WILL NOT USE AGAIN! The employees of Hamilton and the UHAUL drop off were great! Corporate was the problem.James S.

The lady at the store wreaked of drinking alcohol. The uhaul was covered in mulch on the inside, and had others belongings left inside including a mini refrigerator. We booked another uhaul that same day online. Put my card info to hold..get there and they do not have any box trucks which is what we reserved and they said they had. We were told â€œthat's just how we do thingsâ€ when we asked why did you let us reserve it and go out of our way to come here and get it if you don't have it?Clay P.

Very pleasant experience, the U-haul representative was knowledgeable, efficient and it only took ten minutes to pick the truck up. The truck was clean, run great and AC was cold. Also when talking to the dispatchers when trying to locate a truck size they went above and beyond to locate one for me. This was the first time I rented a truck for a move. I will need to rent again in July so I will definitely be renting from U-haul again. Hats off to the Hernando, MS location off McCracken Road!Frances D.

This has been the worse experience that I had dealing with UHaul. I have used UHaul for the past 3-4 moves, never had any trouble. The location I selected did not have the truck I needed, I wasn't notified until 2 days before my move, then was informed that I would have to drive an extra 20 minutes away from my original location, and a hour away from my new house, to pick up the truck. When I called the location, super nice ladies! They directed me to someone with trafficking. Called the next day and spoke to Daniell, super rude, and even argued with me, not very customer friendly or customer center. She did not offer any accommodations at first, it wasn't until after I told her that I will be making a complaint to customer service, when she offer to change the mileage from $.99 to $.75. Then I called 1-800-gouhaul to make a complaint, which is the number Daniell gave me. Called and spoke with Shirley. She was nice and very apologetic. It wasn't until after taking to her for 30 minutes that she informed me that she was not customer service, that she would transfer me to the right department which was someone from trafficking. I informed her in the 30 min conversation prior to her telling me she was not customer services, that I had already talked with them. She basically told me â€œsir I don't know what you expect customer service to do.â€ So I informed her that I was getting upset and that I needed to let her go before I get very upset. I arrived at the location, the lady there was very nice. I admit I did not check the inside of the truck bed. I was suppose to have a dolly, there was no dolly...which wasn't a big deal. When I returned the truck the next day I informed the lady..very nice, she told me that they would credit the dolly. Overall worse experience I would give a negative 5 star to UHaul and the use of the reservation online...there is no connection with the company and the online. I will never use UHaul ever again. I will pay more money to use Penske for now on, even if they are more expensive.CHARLES F.

The lady that worked at this location was rude. She did not come out and tell me where to park the trailer and there were no spots available, so I dropped the trailer where I could and then she wanted me to move it again and charged me $20. She should've come out of her office and let me know where to drop the trailer and there wouldn't have been an issue.Asher F.

I asked for a refund because I didn't get what I paid for. I do all my business with uhaul including storage. The reason for the truck rental was to remove my essential items from my storage at the uhaul on Pepperchase in Southaven Ms. After renting the truck I found out that the elevator was out of service at uhaul. I couldn't do anything. My money was taken for the truck rental though. ðŸ¤"Dwana T.

The lady at working in the office when I picked up and dropped off was very nice. My original experience trying to make a reservation prior to finally finding this U-haul location was not smooth however. I called the 1-800-Uhaul number and the person set me up with a reservation for a truck that did not exist at the location she booked it. This happened twice. I believe what is in the U-haul corp. system may not accurately reflect what inventory is available at the local businesses.Abigail I.

I'm confused as to why I could not complete the return early and get a receipt. I picked up the truck on Wednesday in Texas, drove it to MS on Thursday and tried to turn it in after unloading it before closing time, same day. Policy changes I suppose, but in the past it has been no problem. I did not want the truck in my driveway an extra day. Then I find out it is due on Saturday, and that would have been very annoying. Not sure how I will manage my next rental.Steve R.
