We had problems with customer service. I booked online and they automatically changed my location to 45 minutes from my house without contacting me. I did the pre check in and when we got to location did pickup truck online and had to wait 30 minutes to get preapproved when they had all our information, copy of drivers license, contact information and everything. At this point you should already be approved and not have to wait. This caused us to be late getting back for our moving help. When you book w uhaul online and choose moving help there's no guarantee you will get it even after you pay in advance for it. We picked one that never responded and since uhaul claims they don't have anything to do w that cause it goes to moving.com from there sight to book help it took me 3 hours to get all this straight and sitting on hold for an hour at a time. It was a major headache. The location of pickup had nothing to do with this experience. Dropping off vehicle was easier.

I get charged per mile, but yet 40 miles of it was just to pick up the truck! I was not satisfied over how COSTLY the experience was at all! I wanted something close to home bc i didnt need to move far, but it was further to pick up and return the truck than it was to move! I will NEVER rent another uhual.

The wait time was a little longer than I anticipated. The technician did a nice job in hooking up my equipment.

Returned trailer to a "dump". No one available to check me in, no one answered either of the 2 phone numbers. No signage for and no visible office area. U-Haul needs to re-think this franchisee. I had to make multiple phone calls to the pick up location in order to verify that I dropped the trailer off and would not be charged for extra days.

The drop off key box for this location is across the street.

The vehicle interior light was missing. The location wasn't cleared marked and GPS took us to Gas station about .05 miles away from actually. You have to cross a busy street to the vehicles and the building to get the key

I was stunned to see a $15 cleaning fee for a 5x8 trailer that had absolutely nothing in it when I dropped it off....the same day. I tried to email the address given in the email I received about the charge, and have heard nothing back in almost 2 weeks. I will not be using UHaul again, and will be sure to relay this story to all my friends and anyone who asks.

When I picked up the truck and started it up the gas light came on and said 50 miles to Empty. I then had to immediately head to a gas station and put 75.00 worth of gas in the truck and freaking return the truck with a half tank of gas,

HAd a terrible experience and if not given at least a partial refund will never use u haul again.Got to rental place/ auto parts store.Spent over an hour just to get vehicle.The one person who ran register for auto parts / rentals seemed to be worried more about auto parts customers,and did not know how to rent a truck,as he called someone three times to figure it out.Finally I get truck.Truck won't start,Rental person jumps vehicle with cables,tells me it will be fine.But whole time I had truck,had to keep it running,afraid it would not start again.Truck sputtered whole time,steeringwas terrible.And I did not get an appliance dolly I ordered.Very dissatisfied.

I had requested 24 furniture moving blankets with my order, but the location did not have any. Had to drive to another location to pick them up. Customer service was great though, very helpful in finding a location that had them and coordinating that, but would have been nice to have not had to drive an extra distance when this was requested in our order.

Very happy that the truck was there, and the dealer was very helpful not having a dolly, and trying to locate one for us. However, we changed our minds and went without it. Very nice overall experience.

The truck had two flat tires and a loose battery cable. It refused to start the next morning and cost us three hours. The brakes are bad and squeal heavily. The shocks and suspension are shot. There was no one at the rental location that knew anything, apparently the smart one had the day off.

I am trying to get a hold of someone because my bill was $135 instead of $19.95 like it says on the van. Didn't expect that much of increase!!! I was charged $78 for the extra day it was parked at my house, even though the shop where drop off was closed. The owner didn't mention that it would be $78 per day if I sat it at my house for the weekend to drop it off. I get paying for mileage but this is ridiculous.
