Truck was not checked in when I picked it up, waited 10 minutes and they told me it was ready. I doubt it was checked. After loading I noticed a gash I n tire. Tire was flat lost 2 hrs waiting for repair..truck was shifting between 3000 and 4000 rpms. Had to ay with gas to get it to shift.very stressful experience

The tire light was on the entire way and I had called ahead to let them know that I had this issue. I had to call several numbers before I could have them record that there was an issue. Also, there was a message on the odometer screen saying that there is some safety issues. I would’ve liked to have a more definitive answer. But I did reach my destination without any troublein White Mills, Pennsylvania

Could not contact office morning of pick up. They forgot to take their phone off of forwarding to answering service. Office may not open on time if schools have snow day or delay. Person who hooked up trailer was not familiar with equipment. Just very uncooperative location.

Trucks are not maintained well. Rented a truck, low tire air light was on. Was told it was the sensor and U-Haul mechanic was going to come out next day but vehicle was safe to drive. Rented the same truck a week later and was not fixed. Service driver side airbag warning was also on. Driver door had to be slammed shut hard to close properly. Driver's seat very hard to move forward/back. Staff at counter are very nice and quick to help.

Horrible experience. The staff yelled and CURSED at my father because he couldnt back up the trailer into a spot. They said he HAS to and that its required and his responsibility. My father reread the paperwork we signed and it didnt say that anywhere. As long as we drop it off at the right store then its fine. How unprofessional for staff members to CURSE AND SCREAM at a man for being unable to back something up that isnt a responsibility. I will not be leaving good reviews and I will warn anybody I can to not ever use this uhaul or maybe any uhauls again. I cant believe i paid $900 for this horrible experience. Disgusting behavior.

My experience with Uhaul NOT Honey Do Men is one of the worst customer service experience in my life. Beginning with my reservation being “bumped”, being sent 30 minutes out the way for a replacement reservation to be told to “wait 3 hours until equipment is being returned” turned to “we cancelled your reservation because you should have been here at 7am”. Getting a reservation at my original location. My help for moving had to get to work by 12:00. Now it’s my Daughter and I. Happy to get a uhaul finally because I have to move, I pay for a furniture dolly. I get home and open the truck, NO dolly. I immediately go back to uhaul and they are closed, they only open for two hours on Saturday. My daughter and I destroyed our backs moving furniture. Trying to get a refund for a furniture dolly I paid for and never got is a whole other adventure. Phone calls and going in person, a week later and I’m still charged for the furniture dollly. Trying to figure out billing meanwhile I can’t be found in the system. Did I mention the lady could not print out my contract, it came out blank? The ladies at Honey Do Men are all helpful and courteous. I went back in yesterday and they made phone calls on my behalf, they printed me a contract, they apologized and they listened. Unfortunately they cannot provide refunds for Uhaul.

There was broken glass in the truck that I picked up which was probably from the prior driver/client. I have young kids so I quickly had to ensure all the glass was swept appropriately for their safety, and mine as well. I think doing a better job checking the trucks after the return is warranted.

The location’s service was excellent. However, the uhaul 1-800 customer service was absolutely incredible. I was overcharged, called the 1-800 number and the service representative submitted the request to a manager who within 24 hrs refunded me my money. Thank you!

The truck was very dirty inside and there was a very strong and pervasive cigarette smell in the cab. The rolling door would not stay up and I had to shove a stick in the track to keep the door from Coming down on me while Loading and unloading The radio could not hold a station (antenna) and the speaker was blown.

Ordered 9 foot cargo van for mobile after hours pickup. App said it was available. Got there and then the app said i needed to wait until the place opened up at 8am the next day. Called customer service and they said it wasnt ready or it wasnt set up for mobile pickup, even though the reservation went through, so i had to have them change it to a box truck. The person was helpful, but your validation and check in process ended up making me an hour and a half late. That made me have to take a longer route due to the size. The process of validation is ridiculous for a return customer, why do i need to take a photo of my license every time? It hasnt changed! The truck needed mechanical maintenence, shot suspension, bad steering, weird exhaust smells. I suggest having someone take a look at it. The person I spoke with for the original reservation problem said they would return $50 to me since the van i ordered wasnt ready, but that wasn't done, so i had to call back to get that applied. Pretty terrible experience renting from you guys this time... i suggest an overhaul of your mobile app and rental process.

It’s nice picking up at this location. Staff were friendly and attended to us professionally. The two receptionists were so helpful: Dwight and Yusuf has great personality’s. They were very patient and nice and kind to me. They are so professional in their services. I am extremely happy and lucky to have them both. I appreciate them both for their great job. Dwight make sure I am fine and comfortable even after the delivery. They both did a good job. Dwight and Yusuf were wonderful, professionals and very patient gentlemen. If I have to move again I will still love to have Dwight and Yusuf. I am extremely happy and pleased for their help and services. I say a very BIG THANK YOU to Dwight and Yusuf. Gino at this location provided excellent customer service, he went up and down to make sure that I can pick up my truck and that everything works. Would be great if there is a wider selection of trucks. If I need to rent a truck, or need any service for my house ( this U-Haul is located in a contractor company), I will go back to Gino.

I was accused of damaging the van and waited 3 days to hear if I would be liable for something I didn’t do. No one ever called me, ever, to update me on the situation. The 3rd party vendor refused to provide information on the issue they accused me of and said, “Don’t worry to much; it probably won’t be a big deal.” I was told pictures were sent to a manager, and that person would call me, but no one did. I received the receipt in email, and it said $0.00 in damages, so I guess I didn’t cause any fake damage? Crazy. I’m glad I took video of the van upon drop off.
