Guardian self storage was the second place I went that Morning to pick up my trailer the initial location Pocaset auto service stating that they could not give me the trailer because I had already reserved it for someone the following morning I called Guardian self storage from Pocasset auto salvage to ensure that they had a trailer the gentleman at guardian was very friendly and very professional and provided me the trailer it had nothing to do with U-Haul or your location at Pocasset auto service overall experience was pour the gentleman at guardian was outstanding

Although the trailer was last-minute substitution, the one employee there sent us out without thoroughly inspecting the trailer or explaining how the brakes worked! Turns out the brakes were completely shot and there was no brake fluid. We had to lose a day in Grand Rapids/Wyoming, Michigan while the entire brake system was rebuilt. Fortunately, the U-Haul Service Center there was able to pick up the trailer with a fork lift and repair everything without our having to unload and reload.

I prepaid for a 15’ truck online to save time at pickup. I intentionally declined the $38 insurance for damage to the vehicle and contents knowing that it was overpriced and likely unnecessary since I was going to be extra careful. However, it was not until I completed our move and dropped off the truck that I saw on my paperwork that the person at the pickup location had added the insurance back in without telling me! Yes, I signed for it, but in the stress of the moment as I was getting ready to drive away in a rented truck, I didn’t read carefully what I was signing. As I’m sure most people don’t! A very, very deceptive business practice.

I picked up my vehicle using my phone. It was easy and convenient. I had a question about my rental length and went into the office. The person inside was very helpful and answered all of my questions. Great service!

The gentleman who rented this van to my husband put in 36 miles to Brockton and back. When my husband said the mileage is not correct he said don't worry about it we will give you the best rate and quoted us $65.11 with tax. Of course when we returned the vehicle and the mileage was actually 79 miles -as pointed out by my husband-we were charged $116. This number is accurate according to fee schedule. The problem I have is the "we will take care of you" "the $65 should cover it". Honesty and upfront costs would have been preferred and appreciated.

There was some sort of mistake at pick up, I was charged for things I did not order, blankets and a dolly. When the truck arrived at home, it was pAst closing time so I couldn’t have the charges removed with the local dealer. I did call the customer service number and she assured me I wouldn’t be charged. Other than that all was excellent. Review your contract.
