He cancel my online reservation that was $79 per day and start a new reservation for $169 for only one day. I request 2. I pay another $98 per the other day. Not acceptable. Only one person working in the place. Take like 45 minutes or more to finish the process.Geraldine R.

Short staffed. I had to wait numerous times for convenience store customers. Yes, it is a convenience store, with one employee! So it took me 45 minutes to an hour to get auto trailer, and put car on it and lash it down. The whole process should take, at max.,15 minutes.Michael P K.

We rented the trailer in Central Florida for a move to Maryland. We were careful to load the trailer in accordance with the U-Haul instructions (60% forward, 40% aft of axle). This turned out to be fortuitous. We took 3 days to get to our destination. We unloaded at our destination and immediately drove toward the drop-off location. About 2 miles from the drop-off, the trailer disconnected completely from the car - ball, chains & wires. When we reconnected it, we found that the ball lock screw was completely unscrewed. When we got to the drop-off, the person who received us took one look at the connection and became seriously alarmed. When we explained what happened, he took us through each step of the connection process and explained where the mistakes were. We had made the mistake of hooking it back up the way it had been (we had watched carefully how it was connected in Florida). We were told in Maryland that we were very lucky people, that a serious accident could have occurred. Probably the only thing that saved us was the correct loading of the trailer, which kept the ball receiver pressed onto the ball.Susan E.

This was a terrible experience. We were supposed to get an appliance dolly with our truck but there wasn't one. The U-Haul representative on the phone could not find us one so we called around and found one ourselves. We wasted 2 hours on the phone with U-Haul and then driving to another location to pick up the dolly. Never again!!Keith H.

Online the pickup location was open from 9 or 10 until 5. My truck was reserved for 12 but I was anxious and went early. Thank God I did. This location is multiple businesses with U-Haul just a sideline, and the man was just about to lock the door at 10:55 because he a conference call from 11-1. Given my awful experience of my previous pickup, that would have been an explosive situation. You apparently have no control, much less quality control, of your locations.Lisa V.

The gentleman here checked the truck and explained to us the situation. He told us that the Jacksonville location should have given us the extra we had ordered and we were responsible to give them back. We explained to him that he did not give us anything and we forgot to check. He took my name and number down and said uhaul will call us if there are any issues. He also explained to us if there could be a $150 penalty if this issue is not resolved but again said he will help resolve the issue.Westley pearson P.
