I made m y reservation through the App which sent me to one location for a 9 am pick up. I arrived at the location indicated on the App only to be told that my pick up was at another location. In the end it all worked out well but initially it was confusing and could have caused valuable set backs. Overall it was a god experience the location was able to take care of the problem and honored the reservation.Kendrick M.
The truck I rented, the gas was between 1/4 to 1/2 tank. Got gas before I dropped it off. Took the truck to Greenwood and got a email saying that the gas gauge shows it's between E to 1/4 tank which is not true. They end up charging me for milage and fuel of $126.74. Tried to return on date scheduled and they closed early because of a dentist appointment and no where to drop trailer and no one was available to help me or answer any questions or phone the next day? The tenant said he would not charge me because of the troubles two days later I see charges on my account and he said just take it up with U-Haul. zero customer service support unless you have skill set an email and their app no one can help you're either on the way.Jerry H.
We rented a trailer and a ball. The original location transferred our order to another location that had the trailer but not the ball forcing us to go to yet a third location to get the ball. This caused a considerable delay.Joe L.

I said yes to I would recommend a friend, however, I'd like to take the time to say how one of the main problems I had dealing with this company went for me, and hopefully this review will be taken seriously. There were on several occasions where I needed some answers to some questions I had about the truck I rented. I was almost Always patched through to some "national" hotline to U-Haul, and not the location directly, and 9 times out of 10 they did not know or couldn't answer my questions. I once even talked to someone at the location, and the lady said she was there by herself and she didn't know the answer and she'd have to wait to get the "answer" when the Manager was in. I think all people or at least someone is at the location while it's open to answer people's questions. These are basic questions by the way, i.e., like how much if I extend for another week, or if I return it early if I say I'm going to keep it a week. At any rate, by far, the biggest problem with U-Haul that I had over the last month or so, was "Communication"...It was either lack of communication, or couldn't understand someone from the national line. Other than that, the truck worked out for what we needed, and although I wish it was cheaper, I know it's a business and you all have to make your money too. :)Jeff W.

Made a reservation for a uhaul and upon arrival noticed that there was no one at the location despite it being during business hours. Called a number on the door for assistance. The person who answered tells me, â€œI've got 9 people here so you're just gonna have to wait.â€ A hour and a half goes by and we finally get the keys to the uhaul. A HOUR AND A HALF. The worst customer service ever. No apology. No let's make it right. Nothing. Then we get in the uhaul and the ENGINE LIGHT is ON. I was beyond irritated. This entire rental experience was the absolute worst and I wouldn't even think to waste my breathe to refer someone here.Jordan B.

We got the truck no problem had it a short time less than a hour he had down 3 hours not what we told the kid.then when it was returned he did not check it in right away. I had to call and tell him to check it back in. Because I got a text telling me what time it had to be back by. So our experiences at the different locations are not so good.Gail V.

We did our reservations with Greenwood south (near whiteland) but once we arrived we were told our reservation ended up going somewhere else in Greenwood with the same ownership. It wasn't in a convenient location as planned but it worked we had spoke to a person a week prior and they confirmed the Greenwood south location so I have no idea what happened. We were still able to get everything in our time frame luckily, truck was clean and price was reasonable.Amber L.

Was texted that location closed early and could pick up online. Online showed no reservations, had to wait for an hour and 20 minutes before finally getting ahold of someone. Communication text messages were COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE (no contentâ€¦ just a â€œclick hereâ€â€¦ when my location is changed?!?) and the 24/7 checkin process was COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE (I think I took a picture of my drivers license no less than 8 times). I rented my truck at 12:30 pm on Saturday. It was returned about 8am on Sunday. I was told 24 hour rental and I was charged for 2 days. I requested a refund and was refused. I am a 64 year old single lady and this is a really poor way to treat a Senior citizen. I promise to share my bad experience with everyone I know. It is very disappointing.tammy C.
