My experience was very good overall. I had to move my son and daughter to North Carolina. The Truck was a fairly new truck that ran great. The only negative experience was whoever had the Truck before me had the passenger cab and dashboard really dirty. They must have left the windows open and somehow really dirtied up the front cab. I cleaned the whole front cab and dashboard. I did not want to bother the people at the Hardware Store. They were pretty busy. The people at the Hardware Store were excellent. I work for a moving company in Harrison and I really take pride in the Cleanliness of our Trucks. There are some people out there who just don't care how they leave the Truck. The person in charge of uhaul at the site was not there at 4pm for our reservation. Instead, we were forced to wait 22 minutes for him to return before we could be taken care of. This made me late for my pickup.

There was a sizable hole in the roof of the cargo area of the 10' truck I rented. If there had been rain in the forecast I would not have been able to accept this vehicle. This is in no way a bad reflection on Greenwich Hardware. Their customer service is excellent.

I rented a 10" truck the cab was REALLY DIRTY - under the current pandemic situation it was not a comfortable experience. Luckily I purchased alcohol wipes and cleaned up the best I could but this was a hardship as I was pressed for time. Also a tire light was on - saying right front tire was under inflated - I accepted the truck anyway as I WAS PRESSED FOR TIME and it was the only truck there. I feel this is a UHaul issue NOT Greenwich Hardware. I am a repeat customer and I have never experienced either of these issues in the past.

I always thought renting a van would be so stressful and complicated, but that is NOT the case. I continue to be so impressed with U-Haul. From the people that work there to the easy pick up of the vehicles to the vehicles themselves - absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend. 10/10.

The battery died on us and so needed roadside assistance.... the mechanic recommended we keep the engine running after it was re-started due to the worry of the truck needing another jump start! I kept the engine running all the time from loading, unloading until drop off!! I think I ended up using at least a half a tank of gas extra than needed.... this was annoying but it needed to be done so I could finish my move.

The van was very dirty on the outside and window were also very dirty. I cleaned the windows whe. I got it home. The persons working were reasonably nice and informative about vehicle operations.

The check oil light was on when I picked it up.i was quoted $330 including the mileage I put in and was charged $461. When asking the employee and manager to explain the breakdown they were so rude and nasty. I feel I was overcharged and I will never use this location again and I have two friends in Greenwich moving this month.

When my UHaul was returned I was charged for returning the van after hours, but I returned it well before my due date. The matter was well taken care of.

I love the location of where I pick up my rentals. Greenwich Hardware is great. Love them. Uhaul itself I don't love as much. The website is clunky and hard to use. I was charged an “after hours” fee even though I returned my van during business hours. Lots of other little fees tacked as well. Uhaul is annoying. Those things should be disclosed.

Someone from UHaul needs to call me immediately at 203-858-7528. I will no longer put up with the abuse and filthy equipement from Valencio at this location and I want a refund from the UNAUTHORIZED charges he put on my charge card and admitted to doing! If I do not hear from someone promptly -- I will have American Express cancel all payments to UHaul.

we booked a pick up from Greenwhich, then got a call 20 minutes later that they do not have trucks there. We got sent to Port Chester location. This added to our mileage costs as this was a further drive from our locations. Drop off took almost a half an hour for them to find the reservation, and then we got hit with a $20 service fee for not using a mobile check out.

Had I known better, I would have called ahead to confirm that my truck was in the right location. I arrived only to be told the truck was in Port Chester (10 minutes away) When I drove to Port Chester, they told me the truck was “on the way” being driven from a “remote location.” Bottom line, this was my first and last Uhaul experience.

Better service. I spoke with a gentleman to book a 7am 24/7 pick up and when I got to the location I couldn't pick it up. They had reserved the truck for pick up with an agent, they don't open till 8am. WHY was I booked for 7am pick up with an agent when they don't open till 8am? I called customer service, 1st person said they can't help me and had me transferred, once transferred, I was told there was nothing I can do until they opened at 8am and they were not sure why that had happened. I insisted there had to be something she could do and that it was unacceptable, she kept saying sorry and that all I could do was wait. I made her transfer me to a manager, who was amazing and changed the reservation to 24/7 pick up. Why did I have to nag to be helped? Why did I have to force them to help me? And why was “no” and “I can't” said too many times when it was something that could be done when I had to force help? No wonder this location has terrible reviews, I took a chance and wanted to believe they would be better than that. Oh also, when I first called to reserve the truck, I didn't feel confident that he put in the right information so I called back later, talked to someone else to confirm the pick up information and he said it was all good and set. They were both wrong.
