We had to wait 30 minutes to pick up our van which had not been cleaned. It was dirty inside and smelled. I asked the attendant if it had been cleaned and he said no.

Jorge Luis A.I had a horrendously dangerous experience with the truck. The passenger side mirror kept falling down/not staying in place. I got out of the truck several times to adjust it but it just kept falling. I could not see any cars to my right. I was petrified. I had filled up the truck and was in a rural area in CT which made it impossible to change trucks.

JULIA S.My experience was very good overall. I had to move my son and daughter to North Carolina. The Truck was a fairly new truck that ran great. The only negative experience was whoever had the Truck before me had the passenger cab and dashboard really dirty. They must have left the windows open and somehow really dirtied up the front cab. I cleaned the whole front cab and dashboard. I did not want to bother the people at the Hardware Store. They were pretty busy. The people at the Hardware Store were excellent. I work for a moving company in Harrison and I really take pride in the Cleanliness of our Trucks. There are some people out there who just don't care how they leave the Truck. leigton J.I rented a 10" truck the cab was REALLY DIRTY - under the current pandemic situation it was not a comfortable experience. Luckily I purchased alcohol wipes and cleaned up the best I could but this was a hardship as I was pressed for time. Also a tire light was on - saying right front tire was under inflated - I accepted the truck anyway as I WAS PRESSED FOR TIME and it was the only truck there. I feel this is a UHaul issue NOT Greenwich Hardware. I am a repeat customer and I have never experienced either of these issues in the past.

Elisabeth D.The battery died on us and so needed roadside assistance.... the mechanic recommended we keep the engine running after it was re-started due to the worry of the truck needing another jump start! I kept the engine running all the time from loading, unloading until drop off!! I think I ended up using at least a half a tank of gas extra than needed.... this was annoying but it needed to be done so I could finish my move.

When asking the employee and manager to explain the breakdown they were so rude and nasty. I feel I was overcharged and I will never use this location again and I have two friends in Greenwich moving this month.

Amanda D.I love the location of where I pick up my rentals. Greenwich Hardware is great. Love them. Uhaul itself I don't love as much. The website is clunky and hard to use. I was charged an “after hours†fee even though I returned my van during business hours. Lots of other little fees tacked as well. Uhaul is annoying. Those things should be disclosed.

I will no longer put up with the abuse and filthy equipement from Valencio at this location and I want a refund from the UNAUTHORIZED charges he put on my charge card and admitted to doing! If I do not hear from someone promptly -- I will have American Express cancel all payments to UHaul.
