First off, don't guarantee there will be a 20' moving truck when there isn't one. I could only get a 15' moving truck which means I had to pay for twice as many miles, twice as much gas and it took twice as long to move. I received an email saying I will be getting a $75. Within 2 days but still haven't gotten it not to mention that doesn't even cover the gas. I expected more from uhaul. Looks I'll be choosing another company next time.TIMOTHY M.

U-HAUL need to oversee customer service in Santa Cruz and stay updated. Felton office staff was nice/friendly. My reservation got changed to the Felton office but they did not have the 20'truck available like my text said. We had to drive to Salinas 2 hours out of our way roundtrip. Very stressful, but the staff was wonderful.ANNA P.

Estimated mileage was 30 and we only went 17 miles. Money was not deducted, instead charged the 30 miles . Home Depot does not charge you for the estimated miles but charges only miles used. I will be taking my business to Home Depot when renting a truck as I will need to rent another truck in 2 months to complete our move to our new house. Also too, reserved cargo van at another location before going to Green Cellular. Reservation was booked and advised to come back later at 11:30am as the rental is expected at 11:15am. Agent advised she would. All if any delays or changes. No call was made as I arrived at 12:30 and the agent advised the cargo van was not returned yet. I figured since I received no call, my reservation would be ready. Nope, that didn't happened. No apologies for not calling. Tried to help with another reservation but at another location about 20 to 25 miles away. Charging by the mile, why would I do that. I would not use Uhaul again. I will take my business back to Home Depot.LARRY L.

I reserved to rent the dollies and the furniture pads online, but they were supposedly not included when I picked up the truck. I didn't get a chance to add them on to my reservation because the employee said she would have to redo the transaction. I found it strange that she couldn't just add to my reservation without some sort of difficulty.MELISSA B.

First off upon pick up of our rental the establishment's uhaul office smelled like cigarettes so badly we couldn't breathe! It was dirty, grimy, unkept. The uhaul was dirty, not cleaned, minimal fuel was left. When we selected our return location at the time of pick up, we chose a Shell gas station with the representative that gave us the uhaul. The Shell gas station accepted uhaul returns which was what was listed in your system. When we returned the uhaul @ the Shell gas station they didn't take uhaul returns any longer! The sent us to another location. The next location was a seedy looking gas station that supposedly took returns. The woman inside told us â€œjust leave me your keysâ€. We asked if she would provide paperwork, she replied â€œnoâ€. We didn't trust this woman nor leaving it in someone's hands @ this drop off center. We had to drive to a 3rd uhaul drop off area to finally return the uhaul in order to receive the proper paperwork for our records of the return. Your system charged us an extra day when our contract clearly stated we were due to drop off the next day. Thankfully the representative was able to rectify the extra day charge after we showed him our original contract! We were early one day on our return. Thankfully this location had a representative that was very helpful he gave us the proper documentation of our return. We didn't want to simply leave it without proof we returned it in the same condition as we received it. Overall Uhaul has horrible neighborhoods for pick up & drop off! We felt unsafe and very inconvenienced having to drive to 3 locations in order to finally return the uhaul safely, properly. Uhaul had horrible communication! Horrible locations for returns & these locations were not updated in your system as to whether or not they took returns! We will NEVER use uhaul ever again!MARIO C.

Overall, the location was good. The truck was easy to access and in good condition. Only complaint is that I ordered furniture pads and a furniture dolly, however, they were not in the truck. Since I was picking up the truck via the mobile check in and the location was not open for another few hours, I was not able to get those items. That being said, it was resolved at a later time and those items were refunded.Samuel P.

This is for the overall U-Haul corporation, not Green Cellular Inc: Please don't call the customer a few hours before they're supposed to pick up a truck and divert them to a location over an hour from the original pick up location. If they are renting a tow dolly, they need to have somebody there to help hook it up. Was told one price, had to pay more. When I returned it I had to disconnect it myself. The hours of operation do not coincide with the sign out front.RICHARD S.

I reserved a 10 ft truck for 12/31. Picked up at 10:39 am and dropped off between 530 pm and 6 pm the same day. I was charged 2 for extra days and my account showed as if I had returned the truck on 1/2 @ 10:08 pm. Very unsatisfied and this is fraudulent on the part of the business I picked up and dropped off the truck at. In know way was I notified that in order to make sure that I would not be charged for extra day I would need to return the truck before closing since they would be closed the next day. If this is not resolved I will be contacting my bank to report this fraudulent charge and file a complaint with bbb.Elvira A.

My comment pertains to the mobile app - I rent at least 4 trucks a month nationwide. I make a reservation on the app and then get a call that â€œthat store can't do mobile pickup or truck isn't availableâ€ On this rental I wanted the truck at 8am to go make a delivery, get a phone call that I have to wait until the store opens at 9:30am to get the truck and it's the closest truck to me so is what it is. I show up and tell him I have a reservation - dude looks at me funny and says â€œ your suppose to do mobile pickup?!?â€ But he is nice and helps me Time for the keys â€œ well with mobile pickup we leave them outside for customers in a lock boxâ€ You mean to tell me I could have made an online delivery!!! I thanked him for being set up for mobile pickups but pray U-Haul gets info straight soonSean O.

The moving truck was not cleaned and the vehicle was very rough to drive. i drove 10 hours with the truck shaking the whole drip as if i was on a bumpy dirt road the whole way. Ended up having to stop multiple times because of the shaking causing nausea. The vehicle needs to be inspected. id like to request a refund or partial refundNATHENIAL H.

The local agent was terrific, but they had to overcome a completely incompetent and horrible UHaul national system. My reservation was for a round-trip from Monterey to El Dorado Hills for about $104. However when the local agent called it up it only had 1 day and 30 mils, so the total estimate for over $400. I tried to call customer service, but after waiting 10-15 minutes several times was disconnected. Luckily, the local agents were able to contact corporate and work with them to adjust the quote to what it should have been. With the extreme efforts of Green Cellular the rental would not have worked.STEPHEN K.
