Your rental online is horrible. You have caused me over $150 in insufficient fees. At one point you had my account on hold for over $300! Unacceptable! You billed me for items I never used or received. I used the truck for one night local in town.

I am beyond frustrated with my experience with U-Haul. Not only did my reservation keep getting changed without it being communicated to me. It got moved to a location an hour away from where I needed it. I also got charged over $100 more than I should have for fuel expensixes that were no documented in the reservation. You need to make amends to this customer. The agent tried to connect the 4 way wrong and blew my towing fuse but he lead us to believe lights were working correctly. We stopped 1/4 of the way when a passerby alerted us to no trailer lights. During that time I checked hitch and straps only to find that the ball lock wasn't secured. On top of all of that we were texed to return trailer to a location different than the one nearest us only to find that facility closed. I would like a full refund.

Convenient Luray VA location for pick up/drop off. Not prompt customer service. Had to wait for attention for at least 1 half hour past our appointment time for service even though we were the first customers of the day. Tow trailer was not at location for us with the truck for pick up. We picked it up later in the day, which was fine. Would have appreciated more prompt service with our appointment.

The manager came in on his day off to help me get the vehicle ready to return after I had forgotten to gas it up and put the key in his drop box. This is exceptional service. If I need a Uhaul in Luray I'm certainly coming to him.

GSMS was extremely helpful after the owner of the location at 23540 Old Valley Pike in Woodstock, VA decided that he didn't want to show up that day. The Woodstock Location left 4 customers hanging and scattering to find different locations for their rentals.

When I made reservations I had called the Woodstock location. The man on the phone seemed as though he could care less about me calling to rent from u haul. I asked about a truck and he laughed and said you can’t get that from me. I asked if there was another location that might have that truck and he said I don’t know. I had to ask if he could check. The be had no idea how to use the internal system. We finally got a reservation number for the luray location. Upon arriving at 8:30 there was a small sign that said to call as the operator was not on location. While I appreciated his efficiency over the phone, he didn’t seem to know if I had to move trucks to get my vehicle or not, we did not do an actual walk around but instead had me open the gate and the cab to see how clean it was.

The guy was somewhat rude, he said to me “do me a favor and take that with you when your done” i said “excuse me?” He said “oh I thought that was a cigarette in tour hand its just your white nails” he was very busy and unorganized.

First off I made a reservation a month in advance. The location was set up in front royal Virginia for 6/3/2019 when I get a call on 6/1 telling me I have to come 30 miles away to pick up and if I don't I will not get a truck. John was short and rude with me on the phone and when I got there. The truck was running and got information set up and I asked if I could drop off at U-Haul that is .2 miles away and he said this is the one you have to drop off at or call them when you get to Ohio. I did not get any paperwork and was told it will get sent to you. On 6/3 the truck was loaded and on 6/4 at 9am I started the truck up and seemed to run a little rough. As I was putting in gps the check engine light came on. I called 2 location right around me with no answer mupitle times with no answer. I called john at the luray location and was told to check the oil and transmission fluid and then call the 1-800 number if I needed anything else. So I called the 1-800# and after an hour I was called back to take it to a shop about 25 miles away in Winchester Virginia. On the way the truck was not shifting right and when I went to stop it took a lot to slow down. I got to the shop and the guy came out and was really nice and said the truck was not firing on 3 and was no oil on the dip stick. At that point I was not sure to drive this truck over 400 miles but otherwise I would of had to unpack a full truck and repack myself. A 7 hour trip took 10 hours not counting the 2 he's of my time to go pick up the truck and the 2 hours that I had to wait and drive to get looked out. I would like to have a call and have someone figure out how they are going to compensate. Chad Alexander 540-830-3631

My experience with uhaul seems to be a nightmare that most customers complain about once a business has your debit card. Once that is with them they can charge any amount, wish i am disputing because the truck return was never late, even before returning the vehicle/equipment I called the local office in Laurel MD, which is about 6 minutes from where I moved to. I did speak with an experience lady at the local branch who assured me when i called to deliver the truck the next day. And according to her after looking at my account she told me that it will be no problem if I can get the truck to them before 7 A. M. the next and won't be charge, and that's what I did. Now I remembered when I took it there the gentlemen/employee to me to drop it off and leave. Now whether he didn't enter the information till the following day is not my problem, so to charge my card for something that was done by your employee's lateness is not my fault. So charging my card without my consent was a bad business practice, to say the least. Therefore I need the full amount of the $79.92 refunded to my account asap. no one there. Dropped truck and car carrier at site leaving key on seat. Wonder who was responsible if it was stolen. Didn't get to go over truck to verify no damange done by us. Have not received a final receipt, or full payment on car carrier. Have received on 15' truck.

I called the manager on phone. Reached an answering machine that gave another number to reach him, "in case of emergency". A day later, I decided I guess this was a kind of emergency. He answered promptly and told me to return truck and car carrier to his U-haul location, put it behind the trucks on the property, and leave the key on the seat. I must say I was hesitant, but did it anyway. I had other places to be.

Don't let the manager try to over charge the next customer. We were going to be charged $621 for 4 days. The manager tried to say we went over 300 miles. That was ridiculous since the house we moved from is only 3 miles from the house we moved to. Plus we were supposed to be charged .89/mi and we were charged $1.29/mile. Not happy at all!!

The owner wasn't very friendly. We didn't take the unit. It was smaller then we thought it would be.
