I confirmed my online reservation 20 minutes before going to pick it up & was told all is well. NOT SO! They said the van needed repair after the last rental. They found me another van at another location--in a real bad neighborhood. Put me 30 minutes behind schedule. I got charge $20 for not verifying my equipment return after hours. There was NO WIFI there (Gravely of Bradenton) so I could not do that. But I did it from home. I will never use UHaul again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

I have rented from U-haul many times before. The next time, if I have to use this location. I WILL DECLINE. The people are rude and they overcharge. I picked up the truck by myself, so I had to leave my vehicle there until I had another person to drive it. It was there for 1hr. I had to pay $7.50 storage for my vehicle. Not alot of money, but its the principal. Also a $20.00 dollar after hrs. fee is a little rediculous.

The motorcycle trailer that I rented had a faulty brake light. I took it anyway as they did not have another unit to give me and I needed to pick up a MC that day and they could not repair it while I waited. I did not have a issue with this though. The problem that I am upset about is that when I went to do the return I had called uhaul and they told me that I was responsible for a $15 cleaning fee. When I told the rep that I was never advised of this fee during the rental process the rep told me that someone would get back to me. A few days later on December 7 I received an email from U-Haul stating that I was in fact charged for the rental and the $15 fee. I emailed them back to inquire why I was charged a $15 fee for an open trailer that was returned in exactly the same condition that I received it in. I never received an email back from uhaul.

I returned the equipment the same day. The office was closed. I found out later that they close at 3pm on Saturdays. I left the equipment next to the other trailers. I was charged for 2 days. I place a complain through email, and I have not received any responses. So I'm going to have to recurr to place a omplain with the credit card company

The counter person was not personable, did not make eye contact, did not greet me and was unable to provide documents when I was in the store. It took over 45 minutes with noone else in the store to get checked out. The csr barely even spoke and said only "the computers are down" and only when asked for information on how my check out was progressing. I never got a receipt. I was asked to return the unit to a different location than what I requested and offered a discount. I would like a receipt.

Truck sounded like it was gonna break down and smelled like an ashtray with cigarette butts under the seat. Order for 6 hours ask if I could return before 5 returned at 3 office was closed and I am now being charged for 3 days and after hours drop off!! Horrible experience..

Clean the windows they were oily and lots of dead bugs. A gas tank that is full at the start would be nice, one less stop before getting on the road. You charge a refueling fee but don't put gas in it.
