Not this location problem but I was sent to two other u-haul pickup locations that morning. I was driving to all these different locations because of unavailability of truck I reserved. I received my rental an hour and a half late and further away from the location that I needed to be at. Overall did not have great experience with u-haul rental.Anne T.

Have rented 5 r 6 trucks n recent month or two and this by far was the worst. Drives like crap worse than a tractor and definitely not something I would put on the road. Rained overnight and my belongings got soaked - I guess the roof wasn't guaranteed to protect from a light rain ! Manager btw could use some basic people skills bc you don't talk to people the way he did. And last I drove 11 miles and put exactly 2 gallons at corner gas station - even left receipt on the dash yet he charged me another 2 gallons - for 11 miles !wayne S.

I didn't get a receipt and the truck wasn't checked-in until the Monday after the Saturday I returned it. It wasn't really a problem. It just made me a little stressed about potentially being charged.Douglas R.
I reserved a dolly, pads, and a furniture dolly for my move. Well in advance. The location did not have them, didn't obtain them AND DID NOT TELL ME UNTIL I PICKED UP THE TRUCK. INEXCUSABLE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Created a real crisis, requiring me to purchase a dolly at a hardware store for 1 use.Bill S.

Can of truck smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. Interior was covered in dog hair. Trailer wiring light plug didn't work. Was sent to different uhaul store for repair, that store didn't repair truck. I was given a truck and trailer with NO brake lights and told to drive it around to find a store that would fix it or drive out to call roadside assistance. Not only did anyone even bother to help facilitate an actual fix (maybe offer to call roadside) they encouraged me to take an unsafe truck/trailer and leave.Jeremy B.

First the truck don't have any equipment the gentleman was working there he gave me a different location to go pickup the equipment the second location was out and I went to four different locations to pick the equipment but no one got the equipment which is i got charged for the mileage because they didn't have any equipment for the truck which is i went and bought my own equipment.Thanks for this service which the customer has to buy his own equipmentanas S.

I ordered blankets and a large dolly that were not available at time of pick up. At check out, the person wanted to send me a receipt without letting me know what all of my charges were and not checking out the truck/equipment before I left. The helpers (Marine Movers) that were requested and paid for were not available by phone and did not show up. The uhaul representative on the phone could not help. The uhaul person at the counter was not helpful and rude.Denise V.

We were not able to process the pick up and drop off using smart devices and we dis the formalities as there were staff of u haul at this location at both time.Steve M.
Truck handled horribly because it needed front end work. Truck shook and meandered all over the road. Steering wheel had 3-4" of "play." I doubt there was a single tie rod end or other front end component that had any serviceable bushings. It was a safety hazard.Charles K.

Last time (not from this location) a bearing burned up on trailer axle, 4 hr down time. This time a tire blows out, 2.5 hr downtime. Dangerous equipment, never recommending. If I can find another company I will, this sort of thing should never happen, much less two times in a row. Looking at the tire on the one that did not blow , it was ran low on air for an extended period by the tread wear, very uneven.James D.

I dropped off the trailer 2 Days early at Grant Road storage. I dropped just after closing on a Saturday. I made sure that the trailer was secure and clean. Trailer was due back on Monday by 5 PM. They did not check the trailer in until the following day. Tuesday. Then proceeded to Charge me $44.00 for an extra day(I guess). I called Crystal and she credited me the amount that Grant Road Storage charged me. Like I said very professional at Cy-Fair Storage! I have always had problems with Grant Road Storage!!!That is why I will not use them ever again!!!! FOR ANYTHING!!!Fred R.

Because Uhaul's limited/no interaction policy during this time, I attempted the online check-in process. The website was down. Upon getting in my personal vehicle to call Uhaul, an individual showed up to interrogate my brother and I on the wearabouts of the Uhaul keys, accusing us of trying to steal them. At which point I kindly asked if he could assist in the Uhaul return. He did, while continuing to treat us as if we had done something wrong. Overall, very poor experience.ARIC G.
