Educate employees on how to hook up rental equipment. Have rental equipment in proper working order. Don’t conduct in-store business by being off site and yelling at customers through speakerphone.

Had to wait 45 mins for my reserved truck and the truck was nearly on E but I was charged $70 for a fuel up fee. Very disappointed

The guy at the facility had no knowledge of my truck rental and told me to come back on Monday when my reservation was for Saturday because the guy that usually takes care of all this was gone. I refused this because I had movers scheduled to come Saturday. I waited forever while he made several phone calls to try to figure out what to do. I did not get the boxes or moving supplied I ordered. Overall disaster. Would like some money back for my trouble and terrible customer service.

I received little to no instruction on where to put the trailer. There were no signs indicating where to put it. No one came out to help me unhitch the trailer. No one gave me any paper work confirming I had returned the trailer in acceptable shape or even returned it at all. Apparently the trailer was not marked as returned either because I received a phone call multiple days later, almost a full week, asking if I had returned the trailer.

U-Haul Contract 85971325 I am legit customer as you see above. The experience horrible that I had no choice but to take empty gas tank , dirty car, smells awful and been told to clean the truck myself or no truck. I had to fill the a gallon of gas purchasing from mile away gas station with help of friend. That wasn’t even enough they gave me no paper of inspections. They said they will email to me to no avail. I rented the truck from st.Louis to Chicago which is 289 miles away which is less than 352 miles (which I didn’t informed this as well when I made reservation over the phone) demand me to pay $67 because as their manually entered mileage said so. Imagine what they did to me with their reckless service 1- they made my reservation at Michigan while I clearly stated that I’d am at St. Louis Missouri. So I have to call again and waited an hour to secure the reservation at right place 2- went to the place and got no paper of inspection handed to me. So, I thought it was new way of renting procedures because the guy at the location said I will get it through email. Therefore, I drove 289 miles without a single paper. 3- the truck was so dirty, sticky and smells like rotten fish ( I am not exaggerating here). So the guy at the location said either take it as it is and cleaned it or leave it. 4- was empty tank so I had to buy a gallon of gasoline to gas station. 5- after arrival of Chicago (destination) they demand me to pay $73 for extra mileages which is a lie. From St.Louis to Chicago is approximately 289 miles but they said I drove over 500 miles. Very sad experience and I feel that I got scammed by uHaul. And stripping away my dignity. Awful feeling! I was desperate to move that day otherwise I would have canceled

The pickup location was a shady liquor store. The kid who helped me (under 18, family owned store it looked like) charged me for insurance without asking and I had to have him take it off. The truck had cigarette ash and loose tobacco in the cup holder areas and something that looked like food in the ground. The gas was also registered as higher than it was when I received it, so the auto return is trying to charge me for gas too. Pretty terrible location, they make uhaul look pretty unprofessional.

It was a little confusing where to actually drop the vehicle off too...but other than that the guy that helped made everything go smoothly.

Truck was extremely dirty, trash and leaves and clumps of dirt were in the truck bed. I used the mobile pick up but still had to go inside to get the keys. The keys were not in the outside lock box like they were supposed to be. The truck was low on fuel. We drove it 5 miles and the low fuel indicator came on.

When we got there we were told the 17 foot truck we had reserved was not returned so the only truck available was a 10 foot. We used the 10 foot but it didn't hold everything we needed to pick up so we had to make a second trip with the church van.

There were no drop box for the key, not well lit. Had to pay for a ride to take me back the next day (over 40 miles).
