Dropped trailer off at 9:30 AM. Facility doesn't open until 10 so no one there. Only places available to drop required above average trailer backing skills. The spaces are on a distinct decline. Result was when the trailer was disconnected and put on the ground it took off forward and darn near pinned me to the tow vehicle. Reattached trailer and tracked down a couple rocks to put in front of trailer wheels. The end. Just surprised this hadn't been thought thru. Equipment great.

Debbie SI was, I assume, one of the first customers the new employee at this location dealt with. He thanked me for my patience, but there was really no need to. I did not catch his name, but he did a fine job handling my transaction. In the past, I have worked with the U-Haul representative, Jesse. Management at this site was blessed to have Jesse. Sorry to see that he no longer works there! However, the new employee should perform well in his job responsibilities, and I wish him well.
Timothy PWhat makes this U-Haul store so special is the employee, Jesse, who waited on me. He is very knowledgeable of the U-Haul products and services. I was waited on quickly and he went over the rental process with me with great expertise. He followed me to the rental truck and gave me a final overview of the vehicle and return requirements. The owner of this franchise is fortunate to have Jesse serving its customers!
Tim PI had a car hauler to return and there was no room to drop it. Luckily, someone was coming out of the gated storage units and let me in and waited until I was finished unhooking. Not a good location to return a trailer or car hauler to.

Thomas EI contacted U-Haul customer service within 1.5 hours after renting 9' van which was too small for my move. The representative attempted to help by emailing the facility manager to pls contact me asap so I could possibly switch to a 10' truck ASAP. Although it was after hours the manager could have at least contacted me. This is why franchise monopolies eventually fail.

Jessica WWe got there to pick up our truck and no one was there. We actually got there 20 minutes late and there was another couple waiting that had been there since 8:40. We wait around for a bit, but no one came, so we called and finally got on the phone with someone, who was very helpful, but they told us they were going to reach out about the store being closed. (This was 35 minutes after our pickup time) then, the guy that walked in, didn't say a word to us, walked over to the desk and asked our name. The person who walked in, never apologized for being late and pretty much said 2 words to us the whole time. The truck was great and had no problems, but the service was terrible and the fact that he wasn't there, was very frustrating because the store was supposed to be open at 8:30. Very frustrating experience.

Fadi NThe snow was not shoveled or salt put down so I slipped, fell backwards and smacked my head on the cement. The person in charge did not seem to care at all, didn't ask if I was alright, apologize in any way and found excuses for why the walkways were not shoveled.

I would pick my location (grand blanc 2miles from my place) and then it would keep trying to transfer me without asking to FLINT! In a bad area- 12miles away! Had to redo my rental like four times then call U-Haul to get it straightened out. (the call center lady was very helpful.) also Hated!! the repetitive questions for upselling- movers, boxes, dolly… stupid pop ups over and over again way too much!!
