I reserved a truck 29 days in advance. I got a call from the local dealer two days prior and asked if I could pick it up at noon rather than the scheduled 10 AM. I said no I had to have it on time. I called Uhaul customer service and was told that there was notes written that the truck would be ready. I was told the truck would be there by 10 and it would probably be 15 minutes later for cleaning, they needed 15 minutes wiggle time. I received the truck an hour and a half late it hadn't been cleaned. An hour and a half is a long time to wiggle while having to be out of your home that day I could not contact the local dealer by phone and never received any other information from them Extremely poor service, when I reserve a truck 29 days in advance I expect it to be there on time. I will never use U-Haul ever again.MICHAEL RAY G.
Truck was not cleaned prior to pickup. the agent is way to slow and appears to be uninformed. o na prior visit I was picking up a 6x12 cargo trailer and the lady had such a difficult time trying to put trailer tongue on my truck because she was using the wrong type of lifting jack. I had to help by using all my strength lifting the trailer as much as i could and directing her to place wood blocks under the jack soas to reach up high enough. the small rolling floor jack she was using kept slipping off trailer tongue and dropping trailer. When i explained the tongue jack used by my drop off location, and availability thru U-Haul, she had never heard of it, very unprofessional. very disappointed.RONALD STEVEN B.

This location sucks. I scheduled a car hauler I was told it was ready for pick up. I went down there. 20 minute's out of my way ok went down to go pick it up and guess what it was not available. Heck it was not even there. So I left after waiting 30 minutes just to be helped. I get almost home and I got a call a trailer just pulled in and ready to go. So I drive back. But this location is the worst I have been too. And will not go back to that location. I will probably look for other rental places if I'm in need instead of using u-haul.MATT G.

Make sure the clerks clarify the cash deposit policy I was told our deposit would be returned in form of cash at the time returning the equipment. This was not true at all, I asked several times before getting it because that was the only grocery money we had for the week, I was provided the managers phone number to see if there was anything He able to do, he was extremely rude and unprofessional & said there was nothing he can do and also when I told him I guess I'll be going hungry the rest of the week because that was my grocery week he abruptly hung up on meSergioo C.

The equipment needed work. The tire straps were worn and the tech had to take scissors to them to make it easier to get into the ratchet strap. They then conned me into BUYING a connector for the brake lights for the trailer to work properly. HOW on God's green EARTH, do you rent equipment that doesn't come STANDARD with the BRAKE LIGHT ATTACHMENT???? The brake light attachment is SPECIFICALLY FOR THE TRAILER. Total con job. Also the tech never even wore a mask, and was coughing the entire time. Try the other lot in town. This is the Bullhead City location: 1660 AZ-95, Bullhead City, AZ 86442. I showed up with a 6x12 trailer to drop off. The lady at the facility asked me if I needed help unhooking the trailer and I replied, I might. I backed it into a parking spot and got out of my car. She never came over to help me so I ended up unhooking the trailer myself. By the time I walked into the office, there was another customer in front of me there to rent a truck. It took over 20 minutes for her to reserve the truck for the customer. Half-way through, the lady told me I didn't need to wait, she'd check the trailer in later. I told her I wanted it checked in and get a receipt, so I continued to wait. By the time I walked out of the office, I had been waiting for over 30 minutes. I've never had to wait that long to return a UHaul rental.Frank S.

Riva quickly left when the tail lights did not work on the U-Haul trailer, and told to me to O'Reilly's down the street for help. I went to O'Reilly's but they could not help me. By then the U-Haul place was closed. I drove back to North Las Vegas stressing about the tail light, because I had an eight hour drive back to Northern Nevada. I then decided to return the U-Haul trailer to fhe nearest U-Haul on Craig Street in North Las Vegas. I called the Bull Head City, AZ Location for a refund since I did not use the U-Haul Trailer to transport my load due to the lights, and left a message that I wa ted a refund. Bull Head City, AZ called me back and told me to call customer service. I kept getting the run around between customer service, Go U-Haul, and the techs. I am still wanting a refund. I am thankful that Misty and Alicia were helpful, out of the 30 people I spoke with. I will not be recommending U-Haul to my friends, family, or anyone due to my experience. I'm moved now but I had to make 2 more trips to SanBeradino in my truck because I did not get the 26' truck I needed. Other than that everything worked out, it just cost me an additional $400 for fuel and help. I think you should credit me the extra day to offset my expenses of not getting what was promised? 1. The lady had no teeth 2. She spelled Ave/Avenue Avanew. Personable but not representing your company in the best light. The equipment was fine except lack of cruise control. We weren't used to having to â€œdriveâ€ the whole way. Another issue we have was your odometer is wrong. Out trip was given 431 mi, she threw in more miles asking if we thought we needed them. I requested 50 extra just to be safe. One of my map programs puts Bullhead City, Az to McGill, Nv at 295 the other map program puts the same one way trip at 357, a 60 mi discrepancy but our contract put us at 179 mi over the 469 we were given. This measurement is gouging in my opinion. I would like to be reimbursed for that & for a quarter tank of gas that we put in the tank and didn't use.SQUIER OREN J.

Original reservation was given away. Had to wait two hours for a replacement to be found. There was no communication between sites. Trailer was dirty. Light cable was caked with dirt and didnt work. It was a hassle when I went to pick the trailer up. I even stopped the day before to confirm. When I got there, she didn't have the right trailer checked back in so had to wait for her to stop playing on her iPad & get the trailer checked in before I could go. After inputting my info several times, after about an hour or so, I was able to leave. I was quoted $247 and was charged $277. Only had the trailer for one night & returned it & never received any of our $ back. We are not at all pleased.Tamera K.

Another was of my time by UHaul... my reservation email was the wrong pick up location... this cost me an hour, then the new pick location had 4 people ahead of me... that was an hour and half... so this two and half hour delay cost me to miss my hired help... being a disabled person with no help, I had to get a hotel room and wait for the next day... I order to get back in time to drop the trailer off cause me to get up super early and caused a lot of anxiety... a simple pick up and drop off cost me an additional $129 in hotel and a no show hired help penalty of $50... so you guys at UHaul cost me money, anxiety which has cost your company bad reviews...no threat here, but I will see it that social media has a field day... Trailer wasn't at the place it was supposed to be.The lady had no clue what she was doing with the paperwork then hooking up the trailer to my truck, left the tongue lock unlatched. I went to load the vehicle on to the trailer it came up and smashed into my tailgate. Noticed the trailer was kinda hard to pull after loading it, looking it over after a few hundred miles, seen the right rear tire was worn a lot more than the other three telling me the axle is bent.kevin H.

The posted business hours stated the opening was at 7am and we were at the location at 7am to collect the car dolly. The employee arrived at approximately 7:50am and by then there were 3 other customers waiting. We called the local number on Saturday prior to picking up our rental to confirm the early Monday pickup and never reached a live person despite being during business hours to explain our need to have a prompt pickup. When there was no one to check out the trailer at the site we called the main u-haul number only to wait on hold for over 30 minutes. On Monday despite being almost an hour late to open the employee was rude. When we dropped the trailer off today the same employee could barely look away from her phone to receive the Return. This whole experience was lacking in professionalism and quality customer service.Hassan E.
