I called to rent a trailer and the guy said he had one just stop by and fill out the paperwork. I get there 15min later and he has it rented to someone else. Had to delay my plans by two days and wait to get a truck from him which ended up being ok but we got about halfway up Vail pass at 10,000' in the snow and find out there is no wiper fluid. On I70 there are not many exits to get off the highway. Very dangerous but we got stopped a few miles down the road with nearly zero visibility. Had to buy wiper fluid to get home. I was so frustrated I forgot to put 1/4 tank back in the truck so he charged me $30 for fuel

FORREST R.The location was not visible from the street. There were other U-Haul vehicles parked in nearby lots, causing great confusion about the where to drop the vehicle off. The Drop-Off application on my smart phone would not work because cell reception was not adequate at the drop-off location. The drop-off location closed for business at 3 PM on Saturday. It was miraculous that an employee exited the location at 4:15 pm when I was struggling to find a way to drop the vehicle. He took care of everything---for which I am grateful! But the process was horrible and depended on this "miracle." The drop location needs to have signage indicating it is a U-Haul dealer.
JOSEPH W.I had a reservation for a 4 x 8 trailer. Quote was for $14.95 and they charged me $18.95!! When I made the reservation I told them it was for a Fleetwood Motorhome. When I arrived with my towbar they said it would not work! Need to have at least a 6" drop down. They did not have any to rent! I had to go to Advance Auto to get a 6" dropdown towbar and 2" ball Which cost $48 Also the trailer had debris in it which I had to sweep out before I could use the trailer! Not an overall great experience!! When I dropped the trailer off the next day they could not refund the $4.00

MARTIN C.Charge me what I'm actually due for the agreement I signed. It was for a one way rental and I returned it 4 days early. The receipt I just looked at is for double the original agreement plus some. Let me know how this will be handled.
Rainer H.This truck was reserved for pick up however the instructions given by the phone representative were not accurate and it was necessary to change the name on the account to the person picking up the truck even though that was made clear when the reservation was made so what should have been a very simple process turned into a half hour ordeal

JOHN L.HAVE A LITTLE BIT LARGER SIGN ON THE STREET. IT WAS HARD TO SPOT WHERE IT WAS IN THE DARK. TRIED CALLING UHAUL AND WAS ON HOLD FOR MORE THAN 15 MINUTES SO NEED MORE OPERATORS. I ENDED UP JUST HANGING UP.
KAROLINA BETH M.Silverthorne U-haul was wonderful to work with the crew as they had our trailer prepped and ready to go and we were in and out in less than 10 minutes and same upon return. We would highly recommend this facility to all of our friends and family, thank you U-haul we will definitely be back again in the near future!!

KEVIN M.It is best to phone the Silverthorne location directly as the Uhaul server and inventory seems out of synch (and slow) pushing reservations to the Kremling location. Staff are doing their best but be prepared to wait.

Steve S.There is a statewide mask mandate and none of the employees servicing the Uhaul rental were wearing a mask. This is unacceptable.
Brandon M.We phoned the U-Haul "800" number several times and stayed on hold for over 15 minutes - very poor customer service from the corporate site! Also, listening to the same audio commercials for 15 minutes is annoying. Local pick-up site was okay, experiencing a lot of road construction making it slightly more difficult to access.
