I live in the apartments across the street from the Shell gas stationâ€¦ So I only had it for about an hour and a halfâ€¦ Everything work great, however it was dirtyâ€¦ I had to brush off crumbs from the driver seat, and the cup holder was stickyChe L.
Truck was clean and worked well. Purchased 12 blankets that could not be used because they were stored outside the building and were soaking wet. Requesting a refund for the $10. Owner was bothered by checkout and unfriendly.Peter T.

Clean out the front of the uhaul (was dirty in front seat) and swifter pick up process (was there about 20 minutes despite me filling everything up online). That being said, I think the lady was doing the best she could and the location was nice and convenient!Micayla F.
Representative was unprofessional and did nothing to assist connecting the 6x12' covered trailer to my truck. Once home I found broken glass and dirt in trailer. I would avoid renting from this location.David M.
I picked up the $20 truck and only went 17 miles and somehow it cost me $54 and change and he had me put in $8.50 in gas in on top of it. I'm displeased and don't know if I was charged twice for the rental because he put it in the system incorrectly. I want a refund on my credit cardTyler S.

UHaul somehow screwed up my reservation when they changed my pick up location. Took 40 minutes. They said I rented 2 trucks and I only needed it for 4 hours. I rented 1 truck and was dropping off in another location. I think the process would go much smoother if UHaul representatives were trained properly.Joe H.
Grease spot in truck, didn't have a way to clean it out so put a box over it so it wouldn't get on the furniture and ruin it. Quite a bit of confusion over equipment and pre-made reservation which I had already been charged for; not welcome on the morning of moving which is stressful enough already.Lesley R.

Hello, How did we get charged for fuel? This is infuriating. We got the truck. There's no way it was to the tip top full, we drove it from Appleton to the trash dump on Northland and to Waupaca. We put 56 miles on the truck. Before we dropped the truck off we put in $20 worth of fuel at Fleet Farm. Gas receipt was left in the truck and you can check their security cameras for proof and gas is $3 a gallon so we put 6.5 gallons into the truck? Even if we got 9 miles a gallon we still would have more than covered what we used. I wouldn't be so irritated if we hadn't gotten charged $101 dollars for a one way half day rentalâ€¦ and we got charged for mileage overage even though when we booked they knew how many miles we needâ€¦ and now you're gonna hit me for 2 gallons of gas at a ridiculous $4.50 a gallon? What kind of operation is this because this is highway robbery. All this nonsense just to rent a truck to get my father's belongings out of his apartment because he passed awayâ€¦ you're robbing people and it's criminal. A response is required, as well as a credit. And how about cleaning your trucks every one in awhile? The inside was nasty, dusty and had food gunk stuck to the dashboard (interior wasn't asked to be reviewed when we picked it up) and finally, how about shoveling your damn drop off site? When we dropped off at Courtside the walk to the drop box hadn't been shoveled at all and it made dropping the keys off a pain in the ass. Wanna talk about the pick up? Took 25 minutes because the gas station attendant didn't know how to use the system and had to facetime for help. Horrible experience. Will not recommend.Tyler D.
Was bad . No communication, could not get through on the 800 line. The person at the local pickup i could not understand and didn't seem to care. Then I had to go to a second u haul place because they didn't have my reservation. Was a shit show and I WILL NOT do it again.James J.

The guy behind the counter would not get off his phone he's chit-chatting while people are waiting in line. He made me enter my own information on his computer so he could continue talking on the phone. He then just threw me his keys and said go because I didn't know the process changed where everything was done online for checking damage mileage and fuel. The truck made weird noises the wiring was hanging down on the passenger side floor along with the heat vent, all four tires were low on air. I reserved a dolly he didn't have an appliance dolly I had to go to a different location to find dolly. He was very rude and more concerned about his phone call then trying to rent the U-Haul truck. The dolly they gave us was way too small it didn't help at all so we had to go find a different one and the gentleman working there was not very friendly he wasn't mean he just was very not friendlyDiane M.
Again location and vehicle isn't the issue. App problems yet again. This location is a 24hr drop off location, so when I dropped off my rental at 10pm after the store just closed I wasn't too bothered untill the app wouldn't accept my 10th photo I took and tried to send to verify the odometer and fuel guage. Luckily the worker who just closed the store told me if I was having issues to just drop off the key in the box and it would be taken care of in the morning. This morning i check and at 10:30am it still wasn't marked as returned, (I'm guessing the only clerk at the store was just busy) I went back down to the place explained the issue, he pulled the key out and let me have another go at returning it, problem with verification photo was the same. So I took an actual photo on my phone and brought it in to him so he could do the return. The clerk was nice and I hope he doesn't have an issue.Joseph W.

Need people on weekends. The website or going through internet sucks. I feel there no help on the weekends. I booked my truck on weekend and got no help. Had to look for different places to get a truck. When I already booked it. Not satisfy?Chue M.
I reserved a truck, 2 moving dollies and a half dozen moving blankets a few weeks ahead of my moving date. When I picked up the truck, the rep said he did not have the dollies or the blankets. He seemed to blame the mistake on the reservation system. He said, "We don't have those items, I don't know why it lets you reserve them online". He said I should check down the street at the equipment rental place to see if they had any. Wow are you kidding me? I tried that option and called another U-Haul location with no luck. My last option was going to Harbor Freight where I wasted an hour buying everything I needed. When I brought my supplies back to the rental place to load into the truck, I discover there's a container with blankets sitting right there in the back of the truck! The moving dollies were missing so at least they were right about not having those. With this level of poor customer service and a complete lack of organization and knowledge of what they are doing, I would strongly recommend avoiding this location!!John W.

I rented a 15ft truck online, 2 weeks ahead of my move, and did not get the truck I reserved. I had to pay for a 17ft truck because there were no 15ft trucks available. It cost me more money, something you don't have a lot of when you purchase a home. A reservation means you get what you reserved. Disappointed.Neil S.

There is $14.00 charge for SafeMove, that I didn't order. I contacted the customer's service vie email, but there hasn't been any reply. So, watch out when you submit any online request. It is really easy to get charged for what you didn't want to order.Woo J.

My original pickup location was changed two days before my reservation date, and I was very displeased with the whole encounter. Woman behind the counter barely spoke English and didn't know how to work the computer system so took a long time for her to help the customer before me and myself which delayed my moving time. She tried offering me a ten foot truck because she did not know how to return and rent out the fifteen foot truck I had reserved, which was totally unacceptable. Her husband had to call me to complete the transaction but he was also very difficult to understand. My friend who drove the truck said the cab smelled bad and he had to hold the steering wheel at almost a quarter turn the whole time because the alignment was off. I was directed to this location by you and it was not the drop off I had picked in my online registration. Location was not well lit and was not clean or organized at all. Did not feel safe getting out of the truck to take all the pictures you requested.Michael T.
The person I dropped the truck off to didn't ask he told me I needed to go get a picture of the fuel level and miles. Then when I came back in with the picture. He just wrote them down on a piece of paper. And just starred at me. Me like I was supposed to know what the next step was. Then i just got the statement we're good.Bernard C.
Make sure there is oil in truck. Se had to put 3 quarts in it because there was none on dipstick and if qe didn't it would have blown engine. Back of truck was full or broken glass and had to clean that first. Wasn't real satisfied that no different be serviced the truck before we used it. When I arrived to the station and completed my pre-check in online, I went into the store to grab my key and the guy behind the counter wouldn't give me the key. He said I wasn't in the system, but I was showing him my confirmation he still wouldn't give me the key and was rude about. He told me he would call the Uhaul representative, but didn't do anything to get my a new van. I then had to all Uhaul myself and talk to someone to get a van and key. This process took an hour, and my van switched. Once returning the vehicle, the pre-gas receipt was wrong, and I am now getting charged for gas that I did not use. Overall, I am very unhappy with my experience.Felicia R.

Absolutely terrible! Picked to do electronic check in but still ended up having to go in to pick up key. Person working had no idea how to get into computer system to look up reservation. Waited 20 minutes while he video called someone else for assistance and after trying for 20 minutes, he gave up and handed the phone to me and told me I would have to get on the computer to figure it out myself. Got myself checked in, got my key, and realized the truck I was assigned to was not only parked in by another truck, but buried in snow. Had to clean both trucks by myself while going through snow almost to my knees. There should've at least been a path to the trucks that was shoveled!!Laura A.

Entire process was a joke. At least they had the truck and it was a local move. Hard to understand/ hear them from behind their counter with plexiglass/mask/store noises. They never even went out to the truck. Told me to take a picture when I left, then when I got back. Cab was dirty/had trash in it. Container had dolly and blankets strewn about and was clearly not checked in since I did not rent these... Glad that's important with covid... Truck cannot drive over 60 mph without violent shaking/death wobble(not their fault but needs tire work/alignment probably). Return the truck, fill with gas from their station to above where it was when I dropped it off. Showed her the photos, she takes my phone behind the counter then argues with me that the system shows it left with full gas tank... despite my photo showing it was at 3/4. Photos clearly show it had more gas than when I got it. She finally ended it with if there is a problem they will call me. Zero effort on their part.Jared K.

I rented a 15' uhaul and when I picked it up the gas gauge read almost full but not quite full. It also stunk intensely of stale cigarette smoke. After getting about 60 miles away I had to stop and put air in the tires. In the two days I had the truck it died on me four times in the middle of traffic. This was the worst rental experience I've ever had. Would not recommend.Scott B.

Tow dolly had taillight that was out and chain was damaged. Ended up returning for another reason and was charged anyway for the rental.Matthew S.
The owner refused to do walk around for the vehicle which had undocumented damage. The receiving location wanted to charge us for it. Fortunately we had taken pictures prior to leaving the pick up location.Thomas J.
The location was fine and the clerk was very kind. But my pick up experience was not good. I reserved a 10' truck online through the website got to the location and they didn't have me in their system and didn't even have 10' trucks available. After waiting on hold I got tossed around with customer service with UHaul and they told me they scheduled me at a different location which was not reflected in my order details or anything when I went to the Mobil pick up. They gave me a 15' truck at not extra charge. But the clerk still didn't have me in the system. I don't know what was done but he gave me keys to a truck. It wasted about 45 minutes of my time. I will think twice before using uhaul again.Tyler W.
