UHaul instructions were to get key from person in store had no info & was zero help. Took over an hour to get someone on the phone to get a code to unlock the box that actually had the key in it. Parking was inadequate and it was difficult to maneuver the truck. Had to wait for customers to leave in order to drop truck off, which was another fiasco because the app REFUSED to accept my pictures and verify that I had the correct fuel and mileage. After spending 40 minutes trying I finally gave up, yet Uhaul wants to charge the customer if a manager has to come the next day and verify details. We were supposed to have an appliance dolly and that wasn't provided. The entire episode was disastrous - my WORST Uhaul experience ever.Joyce P.
Self check out is a joke not easier than going into to make a reservation; never received moving equipment that was purchased to rent; The original truck we wanted was 15' and it was cancelled without notification and so the 10' we had to have and it was too small so we had to do two loads so more mileage to be charged and and when all of it was being set up they wouldn't share the info with my spouse when it was in my name. Originally I reserved a 10 ft box truck the day before I needled it but when I went to pick it up it was an 8-foot truck and that wasn't going to work for me as you travel an extra 11 miles out of my way to get a 10 foot box truck that's 20 miles at a dollar 48th mile you do the math I should have had to do that you have a $50 guarantee on your reservation and you did not honor it.Larry R.
My app closed without telling me where the key Dropbox was. Also, lack of customer service personnel on phones is extremely aggravating. Average wait times are 30 minutes. For customers that need help on a stressful day. Very poor infrastructure fir customer service.Sean R.
Tell people they need to do the online check-in for this place. They told us it was optional ... it is not at this location!!! We wasted time when we could have done it prior to arriving for pick up.Thomas P.
The market owner didn't speak English and couldn't communicate. It took awhile to understand to go to drop box & use the app. The pick-up location should've told me how it worked at the drop off location.Stuart W.

Truck was missing rented equipment. Gas empty light was on. Truck was 50 miles from the 'preferred location' indicated in the order. I recommend providing the service that was agreed to at the time of the order.Christopher M.
I was required to drop off the truck in the parking lot of a mom & pop grocery store. There was nothing except the key drop box there. I had to lock the moving dolly and blankets in the cab of the truck so they would not be stolen. I tried to return the truck to a full service Uhaul dealer, but they wouldn't take it. This is sheer stupidity. I hope grocery store parking lots are not the future of Uhaul.RANDAL T.
Note: This is not Golden Rule Grocery's problem or review. The problem was caused by Trojan storage (U-Haul representative by Puyallup Costco that started this entire mess). The bad review falls squarely on their shoulders because their representative promised equipment that was not there. I arrived to pick up vehicle and was sent to a another location to pick the truck up. I had to travel across town during rush hour traffic to get truck. Pick Up site was some kind of remote drop at a convenience store. No keys available and was told by U-haul representative (called her on phone) to see guy in the convenience store. He barely spoke English and had no idea what to do. Called back to original U-Haul office that sent me on this "wild goose" chase and was then told to do reservation on line. I ALREADY HAD A RESERVATION. I tried to make this work per her advice online and it would not. Called he back and she did not answer phone. After multiple unanswered calls I finally decided to call U-Haul 800 number. Had to search for 800 number online because is not easy to find on anything I had from U-Haul so far. While on 15 minute hold at 800 number waiting for a U-Haul representative I was then called by a local phone number with a U-Haul person who finally gave me a combination code to open a locked box and then I got the key for the truck that the original U-Haul representative had sent me to. This is now 80-90 minutes from when I originally started at the U-Haul office that was supposed to have the vehicle at their site for me. The man that gave me the information (code) to get into the locked box (to get the key) also stated that because the vehicle that was promised was not present when I arrived to pick it up that I would be given a $50.00 credit on my final bill. When I returned the vehicle a couple hours later at the "remote drop site" at the convenience store I followed all of the directions to turn everything in and pay my bill. When I paid my bill I found that there was no $50.00 credit applied to my bill as promised by the male U-Haul representative earlier. I paid over $90 for a few hours of a vehicle rental and got jerked around (whole process), LIED to (regarding $50 credit), and had at least 2 hours of my time wasted because the vehicle originally promised was not at the site originally stated. Complete "crap show" by U-Haul. Only good point was that truck was clean and ran well. As for the people I dealt with, the process, the technology, and the way I got jerked around...â€¦.I will NEVER recommend U-Haul to any of my family, friends, business partners, etc. Awful experience. You should not treat people this way.Joseph H.
Found using uhaul.com/share on my phone for return check in difficult. Never found a box to check to the effect of "truck returned". Was just logging in enough? Also, an unpleasant surprise to find my late afternoon return earned an "after hours service fee". Cheeky.CARL K.
Absolute worst experience I've ever had. I had called numerous times because they were already issues with the 1st time I tried to rent and it wasn't correct so they sent me to this location, and it was a disaster as well. Nobody could help me nobody could talk Me Too! Until I finally got a manager. She was the only bright spot in this whole debacle. If it hadn't Been for her I would of went with another company at that point.Monte T.
