I've rented from this location twice and requested a dolly with my online reservations, which I never received. The first time I wasn't charged. The 2nd time I was charged and never reimbursed. I just emailed 719001_AFM@uhaul.com for the third time to get my money back.MONA N.
The truck was filthy when we picked it up. There were peanuts spilled on the floor, the steering wheel was sticky, and the outside of the front windshield was so dirty, it had to be washed before it was safe to drive. After the inspection of the vehicle, I noted these on the app, and haul still had the nerve to charge me a cleaning fee. I will be contacting my bank and disputing all charges.I will be contacting the BBB and filing a complaint. I will also contact the CDC, because these units are supposed to be sanitized prior to rental, and this unit could not have been. This was a disgusting experience and I'm going to let anyone who will listen know.Mark C.
We love U-Haul and have used the services of this company for many decades in different states. Ninety-nine percent of the time U-Haul gets everything right. So, we are fans. The recent experience was a mixed bag, though. Pros: brand new, beautiful cargo van ran great. Cons: so dirty we had to take it to a car wash before starting our move, and the windshield washer fluid reservoir was empty and had to spend too much time cleaning the windshield. Would have been nice to have the attendant who rented us the truck show us a few things about it, such as how to turn the interior lights on. Over all the van performed very well and we were satisfied. A 99% satisfaction rate is fantastic. No one is better than U-Haul!WARREN P.

The truck was filthy. The fuel had been stolen and I had to absorb the cost of the missing fuel. Very difficult to get out. I had to back a 26ft truck onto a busy street.Kimberly L.
Process was quick and easy once the store staff arrived. If you book 10am right when they open. Expect to wait 15-25 minutes for the store to show up.Andrew S.

The person was really helpful but made me park the trailer unhook it, unload and store the dollies, blankets and then park the 26 ft truck in a tight spot which a customer shouldn't have to do. But very nice!LAURENT P.

The lady who does the customer service was amazing in helping me. The location however is in a really poor part of town Chico and the first truck I picked up was one on empty and was registered as 3/4 full that was resolved then as I went to fill up the gas, gas poured from the truck just behind the fill hole. The lady again was super helpful in getting me into a new truck but that is unacceptable either cameras or a fence needs to be put up to protect the equipment.Angelica B.

So very helpful at the end of my drive home. I was advised politely on how to avoid extra fees, and given the chance to add some more fuel to the gas tank before returning my key. I highly recommend this business.Ashley F.

Sketchy little convenience store. They didn't know I was coming, despite having a reservation, kept telling me to use the app even though I'd already done a pre check in online, and charged me for insurance even though I had declined it online.Charles T.
Addy (the woman rents out the u-hauls and runs Gojo's market) was extremely helpful and accommodating and made the entire moving experience so much better. 100% will be recommending her location to anyone that needs a u-haul. Remarkably kind woman.ASHLEE T.

After reserving a 4x8 I closed trailer at one location, someone called leaving a message stating that it wasn't available, the was NEVER AVAILABLE for me to call back. I called four times and was disconnected, idc if it's a lunch hour, you need a machine to take messages, not just disconnect incoming calls!!!! So I called another location to figure things out, they didn't have one, but reserved one at GoJo Market and deli. â€" could not get ahold of anyone there to confirm either! â€" I showed up 15 minutes early to pick up a trailer (now 5x8) I waited 2 hours!!! The lady had no idea where the trailer was or if it would be there.... luckily the guy showed up and I was able to attempt to hook the trailer up BY MYSELF (30 year old women WITH MY TODDLER) and had some homeless man trying to â€œhelpâ€ which turned into him trying to leave WITH me!!!! Overall it was a terrible experience, uhaul does not have their reservations on the website properly setting up appointment or reservations and most of the dealers don't answer when you try to call. I've used uhaul many many times in the past and the experience is continually getting worse. I will never go to GoJo market for ANYTHING because it was a filthy mess that was just one lady trying to make money on everything she could (including parking!) â€" I'm contemplating finding another rental company so that I don't have to deal with uhaul again, and I am incredibly unhappy that I was still charged full price for this experience.Rowena S R.

THE HELP IN PICKING UP THE TRUCK AT THE STORE WAS GREAT. THE TRUCK WAS CLEAN INSIDE BUT THE WINDSHEILD WAS WASN'T CLEAN AT ALL. MY REAL PROBLEM WITH U HAUL WAS THE FACT THAT I HAD TO TRAVEL 10 MILES OUT OF MY WAY TO PICKUP WHICH JUST ADDED TO THE OVERALL COST OF MY TRIP DUE TO THE MILEAGE LIMIT FOR THE RENTAL. I THINK TO IMPROVE YOUR SERVICE THE TRUCK SHOULD HAVE BEEN AT THE STORE I MADE THE RESERVATION WHICH WAS MUCH CLOSER.PAUL T.

It was an absolute horrible experience I was sad to a location that was an hour away when I went to pick up the truck it was not available because the people before us didn't turn it in on time we ended up meeting the other people unloading the truck driving them back to the location which was 40 minutes away driving the gentleman back to where his family was all so we could get the truck so I could be out of my house on the 1st it was such a terrible experience for as much money as I spentJASMINE V.
Location wasn't the problem, but we showed up 15 min early wanting to get a head start on our day. Store/UHaul person didn't show up till after 10:00am. She was very nice,but I would like to have more leeway in picking up any further rentals. Too restrictive and not a great location-small sign that said "U-Haul" then it was basically a neighborhood store. There is a location south of town I thought I was going to- a dedicated U-Haul lot A bit confusing...judith C.
Everything. Your service is horrible. From the rental to the the customer service. We have to drive 3 hours away from where we were moving to have a smaller truck to use bc you confirmed at 20' and didn't have any. Not a 20' not any trucks available even after confirming guaranteeing via phone call, email and text. You charged a late fee when the truck was returned a day earlier than you had asked. This was a horrible experience. I will not be using your services in the future.Marina C.

I rented a tow dolly for my car and an hour into my trip the straps fell off that the U-haul employee put on. When I stopped I came to find out that the straps were tie down reversed on the ratchet and I spent two hours at a rest stop trying to untangled them and then once I did untangle them I had to look on YouTube on how to do it and he also left the chains untwisted. I will never do buisness with that location again.Alexander E.

Location was difficult to identify and easily missed! Poor signage as trailers were in rear of property and not readily visible. Trailer was filthy and the lights had to be repaired at this Location and on the trip as well as the roll up door. Damaged most our furniture with grease from trailer interior.ROGER F.

Ref: 019914031592 This transaction was going fine until I got home and looked at the invoice. U-Haul charged me $8 for Safe Tow when I specifically de-selected that item in my online order. I did not agree to a Safe Tow charge of $8. Kindly re-fund $8 to my credit card immediately.GEORGE G.

I was told I would get 100 back as a deposit. That wasn't true. By uhaul I was quoted three different prices for the exact same trip.carollee C.
To be honest my experience was not great at the start. My key was not in the box where it said it was going to be, causing me to have to communicate with customer service, which took a very long time. Eventually the store owner of Gojo Market came out and gave me the key (I assume they forgot to put it out in the first place). In the end, I was supposed to pick up my Uhaul at 11, but did not end up getting it until 11:40. From there on everything went smoothly, but the pick-up process was not smooth.Jill R.

Used mobile pick up, the keys weren't in the box. Went inside spent 20-40 minutes while they were on the phone trying to figure it out. They some how thought I was supposed to drop the truck off? They told me if I could come back in 20 minutes the uhaul rep would be there. As I started to leave they then came running out with the keys.Clayton P.

I don't understand why U haul would have convenience stores handle their equipment? I had to go across town to get an actual u haul worker to help me install the hitch from the trailer onto my vehicle. (i have major back aches) The lady doing the processing the order took forever.Billy X.
Tried to rent an appliance dolly, and it was a nightmare. I went online to reserve the dolly, but couldn't figure out where on the online site to reserve the dolly. Finally called the 800 number, gave my credit card info, but was not told a payment was not made, or that I needed to go into our local location to pay and pick up the dolly. I was not told that my contractor could not pick up the dolly, without me being there. It to several hours and part of 2 days to simply get the dolly. Very poor service and a horrible customer experience for me!Gary M.
