I would prefer to take photos of myself and license ahead of time but understand this may be required at the time of rental for security reasons. Overall a very good experience.

Nathan PKey was not locked in designated box when I arrived. Doors to Uhaul truck were all unlocked. A homeless man attempted to get in passenger door before I left facility, police were called. Facility is poorly lit and not safe in the dark.
Ryan DThe ratchet assemblies for the wheel straps and hardware for the safety chains were seized up from rust. I managed to get them working but it appeared that they had not been lubricated for quite some time.

James LI had originally only rented it for 24 hours and when I went to extend my rental on the app it said it wasn't available for rental pass that 24 hours but when I call the 1-800 number I was told it wasn't a problem at all and was able to do so. So my only recommendation would be to keep the records more updated between the call center and the app as far as rentals and extensions are concerned.
ALESHIA RI can't imagine a single thing that Scott, the owner of the franchise, could do better. When we needed a pickup truck at 1:00PM, the renter who had the truck extended for an hour. Scott worked patiently with me on the phone to resolve the matter. We rented a 15' box truck instead, and Scott gave us a break on the cost. He even pulled the truck out before I arrived and warmed it up! Who does that sort of thing anymore? He fully deserves the Top 100 plaques that adorn the walls! That's customer service. -T

Terry COutstanding business. Professional and friendly staff. Super helpful and expedient in getting us on our way with a cargo van. New van and very clean. And in the end the final cost was LOWER than estimated due to U-Haul lowest cost calculation. That never happens! I will absolutely go back for my next rental.

Kirk MEmployees were professional, cooperative, and friendly. When I was running behind on return day, the manager said she would rather I get there safe than early; and that speaks volumes about the way they do business. Felt like I was borrowing a vehicle from a friend who cares instead of a big bad company. 10/10 will be back for further business and always recommend to those in need that they go with the folks at Go Green Sunoco!
Mikael FFix the air conditioning on your trucks. Otherwise, it was a quick and easy experience, with a truck that drove and handled well.

Scott MI purchased gas (2 1/2 gal) at the drop off location when I returned the vehicle and was charged $10 for 2 gallons of gas on the final bill. When I sent a message online to ask about that, I heard nothing.

Rodney MUpon entering the process online, my first thought was of all the other times, I had to rent a truck. How each time the proprietor was grumpy, or just felt like I was an inconvenience. I didn’t know that me giving someone money, was so much of a hassle to them. But that was always the way, at each of the locations, and not just U-haul either. However, when I got to the Sunoco station to pick up the truck, I was greeted by the attendant, who said that she would get her boss. I was like here we go again, but that was not the case. I’m sorry that I forget their names, but I will not forget that they were the most positive, and pleasant people to do business with. They were understanding, that I was running behind, and they were also very efficient. They made the experience one to remember, I can see why they have the top 100 plaques, this team deserves the top 1. When I have to move again, this will be the first location I go to. Thank you for being so great!!!!

Courtney DConvenient location, VERY helpful and friendly staff! There was nothing this location could have done better. U-Haul could make the app more stable though. It didn’t work for check-in. The only thing worse than a business without an app is one with an app that doesn’t work! People rely on smooth apps to meet certain expectations. When they don’t work, it makes the experience and work arounds very frustrating. Overall all though: a good experience!

DANIEL MThe Uhaul facility at Jolly and Cedar Lansing Michigan was the place I was told to pick up the trailer. When I got there the trailer was GONE and no explanation given. The punk-ass slacker associate was NO help at all. I had to find a new location on my own. Uhaul lied to me . The trailer was unavailable. This is the first and LAST time I will rent from UHaul. I'll buy my own trailer next time.
