The location was fine, it was the verification process that was the problem for me. The agents tool entirely too long to verify the contacts that I listed as alternate and said they couldn't get in touch with them, and one of them was right next to me, they never called until I initiated the online chat thru the app. The app was very frustrating and didn't work as it should, it wouldn't complete picture uploads for the license or return verification, I have a Samsung S10+ which takes excellent pictures so.I know it wasn't my phone. I had to get everything done manually by the location attendant, waste of time to reserve thru the app, more problem and delay than it was worth!Maurice S.

Had to wait in the rain for nearly an hour. He attendant told me he could not help with uhaul approvals. The system referenced my phone number as an inappropriate alternate contact however my husbands name and Drivers license is on the account. Driver sold the truck i needed as I was waiting approval for pick up from uhaul.com. Sold me a truck that was already reserved from someone, I feel bad the person would have to go to another uhaul when they reserved days ago. Company blamed everything on uhaul and said they can not assist in any way. After waiting for an hour the system mentioned I should ha for pick up directly with the attendant. He sold me another uhaul that was reserved already after literally telling me he could not help and I should gps another location. Waste of time!!!! I was able to pick up after 2 hours of complaining and waiting for uhaul Corp to answer the phone, which they never did. I have screen shots of waiting on hold for 1 hour 36 minutes.Anthony B.

It would be great if someone was available to reposition trucks nearby if one was available. The closest locations to me said there was no truck available and I had to go to one further away to get the truck. It would be very convenient to have the truck delivered to a closer location for pickup. The customer can pay a slight fee for that. Alternatively, it would be great for the app to tell us when a truck would be available. If it is a couple of hours after we requested, please let us know because we would likely wait. There were supposedly no trucks at the locations closest to me. I waited four hours to pick up a truck from a location further away. I saw the truck I wanted available at the closest location when I was driving back. It would be great if we can be notified when a truck was expected back.SHAWNIELLE P.

No one was there when I returned the vehicle so I had to do a self return. When I rented a vehicle, the sales person did not tell me that they would be closed on the day when I was returning. In fact, it appeared that even the gas pumps were off and I had to drive to another location to put fuel in the truck before I could do the self return.Gwendolyn C.

After completing the paperwork for the rental the young man went out to help me put the trailer onto my hitch. He directed me backing my car up and then told me that he would connect the trailer himself. Well, he only connected the hitch. He did not connect the safety chains nor the electrical harness. When I asked him if he'd done that, he said no. Then he said, "There usually is a charge for connecting the hitch, but I'll waive that." It seems to me that his statement was a way to keep me from complaining about the inadequate, unsafe job he did in connecting the trailer to my hitch.KENNETH C.

When I picked up the truck and got to my location, the back of the truck had mattresses and trash cans, etc. causing me to pay my staff for multiple trips and mileage for multiple trips. When I got back to return the truck, the guy said â€œsorryâ€ you have to put that on your review- we can't do anything for you. Not even a discount on mileage on the truck. Very bad experience and I would never recommend. I will tell anyone looking forward a uhaul to avoid this location. They never even tried to make the situation right. What a mess!!! I have been doing business with uhaul as a contractor for several years. I only stayed with this botch of my reservation with uhaul because I was cornered time wise. The representative that made my reservation did NOT set up my truck as a one way to the Location I requested!!! This cost me over $900 additional in costs!!!! Insane! From such a simple thing. I asked the personnel at Chillum rd location (site of reservation) to call management to rectify the issue..... I was sent to Glen Bernie for another pickup 2 hours later ... I paid for that ride and my moving help to wait. The client I was serving was also inconvenienced due to the major delay which cost me a whole other day ... it was an avalanche of errors on uhuals failure to deliver that made this whole small project not only more difficult and dragged on , but cost me dearly. Please allow me the forum to have a dialogue with corporate.LATROY W.
