Truck was not at location at pickup time. Slow service from location to get the key one the car arrived. Gas reader on car was not working properly. We filled up and it moved after we drove for miles. It didn't change immediately after filling. So we put more fuel than needed.Samuel D.

This particular location was shadyâ€¦â€¦with the individual in the gas box that was late and very short with me. This person never walked around the rental truck with me to go over the condition of the vehicle and never checked the mileage before departure, but instead I was given keys and a thumbs up. I took a photo of the mileage before I left the location and when I returned. When I returned the rental truck, again this person did not come out of the gas box to check the vehicle or mileageâ€¦..instead, I was told to write the mileage down on a piece of paper. This was totally unprofessional and actually very lazy on this persons part and with these actions of laziness, I was actual charged more for miles per gallon because this person submitted it incorrectly. So with that being all said, I will never deal with this particular location ever again.Timothy D.

I ordered 3 hand trucks, 1 furniture dolly and 36 blankets. None was on the truck. I told clerk. He just shrugged his shoulders. I HAD TO DRIVE TO ANOTHER LOCATION @ my expense to get my equipment. And I had to bring that equipment back to that location. THEN drive the truck back to another location. I SHOULD BE REEMBURSED FOR THE MILAGE. TRUCK HAD NO AC!!!Ronald K.
Equipment requested in the reservation (moving dolleys) were not provided. It wasn't until we'd received the keys and began the moving process that we noticed there was no additional equipment in the vehicle. After contacting the employee at the rental location, we were told they didn't have any available so they didn't provide them. This should have been conveyed in advance as it limited what we were able to transport.Devon G.

A staff member looked at us, told us they were expecting us, then ignored us and wouldn't help us through the process. They essentially tossed a hand truck at us and sent us on our way. I asked for more equipment when I reserved, but didn't get it. Probably for the best, as the hand truck was banged up, the truck had dents and scratches all down its side, the cab was sticky all over the inside and smelled like pure smoke.Shelly D.

Wasn't told we'd need to go to 2 different locations to get a truck and trailer. The guy at the trailer pickup was nice but didn't know the product well. He watched us get in and out of the car on the trailer thru the windows. Meanwhile there are latches on the wheel well of trailer that go down and allow you to open your door.Erika V.
The truck I rented sounded like it was going to fall apart. The agent charged me for the insurance that I told him I did not want. The also pointed out that something was wrong with the gas meter. I still got charged for fuel because of it. I'm a dj and rent from uhaul frequently. This was my first and last time using the marathon gas station on Richie Hwy to rent from.DAMIEN W.

Took a long time to process my uhaul. Got there before 8:30 didn't get the key until after 8:30. Return the truck little after 8:30 they didn't check me out until 9:24 then charged me for an extra day of rental. They also read the gas mileage wrong and charged me $65. I had to take time out my day to call customer service to get a refund. Don't have a problem with uhaul because I use them a lot of time but will never use that location again.Kevin P.

I paid for a hand truck and he said it was in bed of pick up, but as I started to leave I realized it wasn't there so had to turn around to go back. The line was pretty long and even though I checked in online, it still took a little time. But the guy was nice which did help my experience in a positive way!Lauren P.

In terms of getting the job done they did, however in terms of customer service no. They didn't have furniture pads available to rent. Other places did the little things to make the experience special which led to a recommendation those little experiences were lacking here but as I said they got the job done, I rented the truck, used it returned it and paid for it.Robert M.
This was the 3rd time this week that I have rented a U Haul Truck from this location. I give the highest mark to the Rental Agent, Mr. Bilal and his lot man Mr. Mike. Make sure the person who runs that side of the business is doing there job and making sure the equipment is ready to rent out and cleaned. Also, there should be a designated spot at the location to conduct business and not at the actual gas station pumps itself. Truly would not recommend this site to nobodyChristopher J.
The problem I had was not with this location, it is that UHaul moved my original rental location to another site that was 50, yes 50, miles away. Not okay, I lost multiple hours that day having to deal with this issue.Kelly W.

I was given incorrect pickup location in Glen Burnie Md then when I asked and called uHaul from there they sent me to a pickup location in Annapolis. when I got to Annapolis they said they didnt have the trailer and they called a different number and said it was in Glen Burnie - wasted two hours going back and forth. The trucks gas level was wrong when I picked it up and dropped dramatically when I left the lot. I have photo evidence of it dropping when I left the loft and got to the freeway. I should not be required to top it off past what I was given.CHASE A.

Was surprised that a Gas station was also a U-Haul business. It was more of a self serve Uhaul dealership, where the customer did everything except for the paperwork. The owner came out of his little bldg once to look at the hookup to make sure it was correct. It was a good thing I didn't send my wife to pick it up.John M.

When I picked up the vehicle the passenger side rear wheel was severely under inflated. When we questioned it to the rep we were told we had to fill it as it wasn't his responsibility. The passenger size mirror was loose and I had to tape it into position in order to see the side of the van correctly, this is a safety risk. I didn't realize until I was returning the van that none of the rear lights were working, the break, Left/Right blinkers are non functional. I was lucky I didn't get rear ended at any time during my move. Clearly this vehicle is in desperate needs of maintenance or repair. If this location is responsible for upkeep to the vehicles, I would not use nor recommend using this location for rentals.LUAN L.

Received the truck with gas tank light on, dirty, and smelled like cigarettes. The cashier said that I needed to return the truck with 1/4 of gas to refund the cost and they did not do it. I do NOT recommend this location for Uhaul. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!Joshua R.

This site was ok, but the U-Haul online process is awful. It is MUCH slower checking in and returning than dealing with a human. The website is incredibly slow and it took 30 minutes to return the van. Also, even though they say you can do the check-in yourself and bypass an agent, you still have to go to an agent to pick the keys. The online process is terrible. I do not recommend it. Also, they overcharged me online by at least 30-40 miles. When I checked in, the site would not let me manually enter the odometer mileage. I assumed it was correct, but it definitely was not. I made 4 trips for at 40 miles a piece, plus an additional 2 miles (162 miles), but I was charged for 198. This is a scam. I feel bad giving this location a bad review as the issues are probably with higher ups, but my experience over the last 2 days (checking in/returning) was the worst rental service I've ever experienced, and I will definitely look around and not use this company again.Jeff H.
Moving is a very tiresome experience. The staff person made renting the u-haul truck any easy, timeless experience. He was very polite, greeted me with a smile and explained everything in details with patience. This young man is an asset to the company. Service was exceptional. Upon return of the vehicle, my cell phone died before I could confirm the Uber home. The associate loaned me his charger but, given the age of my phone it took a while. The associate tried to call a cab for me also. In the end, my phone finally took enough of charge for me to reserve an Uber just as the sun was setting. The whole process took about two hours throughout which time, the associate was always pleasant and sincerely helpful.CAROL W.
Make sure that a truck is available at the place the customer reserved it at. I reserved my truck 11 days prior and when arriving to pick up truck, was told they do not have one for me. Called traffic, they reserved truck for me at 2nd location, got there, no truck! Called traffic again, was sent to 3rd location, which I finally got the truck. Wasted a lot of my time and gas!
