The uhaul i rented for a one way trip from Az to Ca was stolen from my driver, he was forced into the back of the truck. and brought back to Az. A police report was filed and the truck was found by mayer police dept. I was notified and upon returning back to Az retrieved the truck from the mayer police dept and returned it to the nearest location which happened to be the location i rented it from. I notified uhaul on severl locations about this. I had truck insurance to cover theft of the truck but was charged almost $700 additionally after it was returned they said due to milage. Uhaul should have been grateful it was recovered quickly and returned. Instead i was treated like a criminal and charged almost $700 more. The location told the thief to take the truck to his house and unload it and return the truck empty. Which is where the police found it. They stole atleast 1/3 of my belonings on top of everything else. I had insurance on my belongings as well but uhaul would do nothing. Additionally i lost my home in calif due to the delay. I ended up moving to tennessee and used penski which cost me $3000. I was happy to pay it cuz i will never use uhaul again. Your insurance sucks your retail store sucks and your customer service sucks. On a scale of 1-10 i give uhaul a 0.

The staff does not know how to check in or out equipment, it took an hour to get equipment and not sure when we turned equipment in if it was checked in, I am assuming since I got this survey it was, getting ready to call 800 number

My location was changed to this pickup site in which I had asked prior if there was someone to help me put on the tow dolly. I was told that there would be. When I arrived there which was 35 minutes outside of where my original pickup spot was, it was pouring rain and all the U-Haul trucks and tow dollies were in the mud.There were 2 ladies at the Giligans site and no one to help me attach the tow dolly. Luckily, a good samaritan helped me that was at the gas station there, got in the mud and rain with me to attach my dolly. Because we were out there for some time, my check in link had expired on my phone, so I could not respond to the link in regards to the condition of the truck. When I got into the truck, there was less than a 1/4 of a tank of gas to start. The paperwork that got emailed to me said I was starting with a 1/2 tank. I called the lady at Giligans to let her know and she responded, "I should have checked the link ahead of time." I was extremely upset because now I have to not only stop for gas in the crazy weather, I had to put more money into it than I should have to. I would definitely not recommend this location. Not helpful at all!!

I was Quoted 128.00 for a 1 day rental, I was Not Informed My Debt card was going to be charged 187.00 the same day the truck was picked up. Then charged my debt card another 52.00 +20.00 For Gas, i had the truck 1 day, But I was charged for 2 days.+ 84 miles, But only used 4 gals of gas.. There is currently a Report Filed on this Issue!! Was Given Major Attitude when I called Regarding the Charges..

I am reviewing the U-Haul company, not their locations: Beware! Even if you make a reservation at a specific location, U-Haul does not guarantee they will have the trailer available! We received a phone call the day before pick up and were told the nearest trailer we reserved was 60 miles away! When we asked for some compensation for gas and time we were given a lousy $20 gift card for a future rental! I can not believe this is how the U-Haul company operates!

Make sure your tires don't have leaks and your trucks have correct wheel alignment. Also make sure you clean out the cab next time.

Fill up the gas tank!!! It makes it very inconvenient to guess how much gas to put in since you make it very clear that Uhaul does not reimburse if the truck is returned with more fuel than what is printed on the receipt gauge.

My trailer hitch installed by UHaul did not work properly. The wires are wrong. Call me to tell me how I get this fixed please.

The person I set the pick up with put down the wrong date so across state when I went to pick it up there was no reservation and had to set a new one driving almost 100 miles with no reimbursement for gas which is over $6.00 a gallon.

I was given papers and key and was told it was in the field. So after I found truck was full of rotten dog food which smelled for over 100 miles. Was very disappointed.

I reserved a small trailer & an appliance dolly. When I checked in, there was NO APPLIANCE DOLLY AVAILABLE!!!!! Employee Michelle17464 gave me a furniture dolly which was of NO HELP AT ALL!!! I WANT A CREDIT FOR THE MISSING APPLIANCE DOLLY AND FOR RETURNING THE TRAILER ONE DAY EARLIER!!!!

The lights we inoperable on the fist trailer. Later I noticed on the second trailer the tires were worn as I was in a hurry after waiting to get a second trailer. The appears to be a maintenance issue on the trailers that could cause safety issues for inexperienced drivers. The attendant at Gillian’s was a big help in getting me on the road as a positive note.

The staff at Gilligan’s Spring Valley located in Mayer, AZ were absolutely wonderful!!!! They were very courteous and helpful. I will definitely rent from them again. And it is a great location to rent from because they have snacks and even a kitchen . They can make you a pizza for your move!

Made us stand there for an hour waiting to check the truck and trailer in because they didn’t know how to read the mileage on the truck. Told us that I would get charged for 2000 more miles than we had driven. We were both exhausted after driving 900 miles from Idaho to Arizona in 3 days

I was charged for 2 days and I only used the trailer for 3 1/2 hours. Uhaul site said there's nothing they can do, that I had to call customer service. What a joke!! Tries calling customer service. Was on hold for 45 minutes then it hung up. Never again! Going with Penske for Sure next Time!

The agent personally checked in the tow dolly and pointed out why the car was literally being dragged behind us, ruining the back tires and forcing us to replace the tires and drive the remainder of our trip. Very unhappy that the charge for the tow dolly is still on my credit card statement and charges not dropped as promised by U-Haul!

Manager help in the end i thank for that but it took 4hrs to finLe get the truck but it wassnt the big one i odered now i have to do another run from az to idaho. Its cost me so much money because now i have to make another run yo idaho.

Your website is not explicit concerning return time. I called the 800 number before renting to find out the return time required and was given inaccurate info. I would have picked up the trailer later had I known how early it was supposed to be returned.

I moved a total of 40 miles. The truck cost me around $180.00. For 2 days. I feel that if your moving say 50 miles or less then it should cost less. The old $19.95 local with a set # of miles to go with it. Say 20 miles. Any more miles than that would be $0.25 a mile. That would be great. Charging $0.99 per mile is a bit much. I think that Uhaul would round up a lot more of the local people if prices were more accommodating.
