the side wouldn't close properly, the tank was not full, center driver side air vent broken

I delivered the uhaul with the auto transport. After a few minutes I realized I only had the uhaul keys and not my car keys. I had someone bring my personal car keys to the uhaul location. The guy I worked with was very patient and waited with me until my keys were delivered. I thanked him for waiting pass their closing time and offered him a tip, but he refused. Thank you.

Please clean the inside windshields. And recheck the floor for debris as I did find a black used surgical mask on the floor. Otherwise the representative was friendly and helpful and the van ran well.

We picked up our UHaul on Friday night because we were moving Saturday morning. As we left the house Saturday morning the check engine light immediately turned on. We were told that there was no rental vehicle that we could be switched out with, and to drive it 25+ miles each way with the check engine light on. When we got to our destination (Brooklyn, NY), I called to ask if a local UHaul could pick up the vehicle so that we didn't have to drive it back to New Jersey with the check engine on. I was told that wasn't a possibility nor could we get any kind of discount. My family felt unsafe driving the UHaul with the check engine light on and I was extremely disappointed in the lack of accommodation and any sort of customer service. Safety should always come first and UHaul put myself and my family in danger and offered no solutions. Extremely disappointed.

Scheduled truck for 1 day, 1 way. When I called to return the truck within my 24 hours, they had no record of my return. They asked me to call UHaul to confirm drop off location. I told them I had paperwork. They requested that I not drop it off until they could call UHaul to confirm. They called me back in minutes - no issue. Very professional but it would have been better if they had the information at the time of my call / return. Otherwise, very positive experience. Thank you.
