I was supposed to pick up the trailer at a place CONVENIENT TO ME but no, UHAUL had to send me 10 miles in the wrong direction! What happened to the service UHAUL used to have?

Pick up location was way too far away from the original location I originally chose. It cost us extra time and would not prefer using this location unless you live in the CO springs area.

First off I have called into your corporate hotline with a complaint and not heard a word back from you. We almost died due to a malfunction in the trucks cruise control. I reported this to customer service. The cruise control would not cut off when we were going through the mountain pass with corners that said 45 miles and hours and the truck kept accelerating faster and faster. I was stepping on the brakes with both feet trying to bring the truck speed under control and I finally had to stick the transmission in neutral at near 70 mph to stop from running of the corner of the road and over the mountain. If I had not driven 18 wheelers before we all would have died. It took me at least 6 tries to cut off the cruize control and get the truck to drive without it. I did not turn it on the rest of the drive back to Fort Worth, Tx. But even before all that happened when I picked the truck up from the vendor they did not lock down the car hauler. When I stopped in front of the house the car hauler came off the trailer hitch. I want compensation from this disaster of a move. my phone number is 512-705-7764. Thomas Don Williams. BTW the customer that had the truck before me had complained about the truck having issued, but the vendor where I picked up the truck said he drove it and it was okay. apparently, he did not use the cruize control. I and going to make sure everyone knows about this poor safety issue.

I finished early with the truck and tried to return it at 4:55pm, before the stated closing time (5:30pm on the window & website) but the shop was closed. There wasn't a dedicated parking area for returns, safe from possible damage, so I didn't feel comfortable using the drop off. Not a big deal, I said I would return it next day when I ordered it.

I was quite dissatisfied with the truck and service received from the place I picked the truck up. There was ice from a roof leak that I had to chop out of the inside of the truck. The truck was snow covered, and tires needed air, 5 out of the 6 tires. There is no way a customer should pick up a vehicle in that condition. I had a reservation so they knew I was coming in to pick up the vehicle. As a minimum, the truck should have been serviced, i.e, air in tires at correct pressures, snow cleaned off and had they cleaned the truck they should have realized the truck had a roof leak. Additionally, I had to walk through mud in a field to get to the truck. Customer service was so bad that they did not start the truck, bring it to the parking lot, go over any pre-safety checks to ensure tires, signals, lights, etc worked. i now have damaged property due to the roof leak. I am not sure why I was sent to that location when there is a "UHaul" dealer down the road on Powers where I had to go to pickup furniture pads since this location does not carry them. Again, that was on the reservation also. So needless to say, a very dissatisfied customer and more than a little upset that my property was damaged due to the leak. This is not the first time I used UHaul. However, in the future I will think twice. So that is my feedback. Sorry it is so negative, but that is how I feel after paying good money for such poor customer service and vehicle condition.

Initial email confirmation directed me to 3132 Mallard Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. No 20 ft truck available at this location sent to Academy. No trucks at all at this location then sent to 1290 Ainsworth St, Colorado Springs, CO 80910 causing an inconvenience both financially and time.
