Very crowded location, too much going on. Primary business is a gas station. Lots of traffic, doesn't work well for a return location. One tight spot I had to back a trailer into, people without towing experience would have trouble. It was uphill, so couldn't manually position the trailer. Had to find chocks for the wheels while the employee held it in place.David S.

I am disputing the charges from this dealer, they are not correct and they dont have time to explain why they over charged me . they didnt even have the time to check me in yesterday, just sent a bill to my account and charged me 185.75 for a 2 day rental.daniel H.

When I dropped off the trailer the gas station attendant said to just leave the trailer parked in the lot. The next day I received a text that told me I needed to drop off my trailer. They need a better check in system at this location.Tad S.

Trailer was older and not clean on the inside. Had to clean it when I got home as I didn't want to put my stuff in it. Also was force to get the safe tow insurance and they would not let me take the trailer unless I paid for it. For this reason I will never rent from them again. You should never for d a customer to get something they declined especially when they know the consequences of what could happen. I would have rated poor but the gentleman that helped put the trailer on my car was wonderful unfortunately his boss isn't.Brett M.

The staff wanted me a disabled veteran to help her lift the very heavy front end of the trailer onto the hitch of my vehicle , I have a bad back and arm due to military service. Then once the front of the trailer was on the hitch the staff could not lock the front of the trailer onto my hitch because of the poor condition of the equipment , I have never seen such poor management in my life as that location, Two weeks prior I rented a trailer from another location and the staff took care of connecting the trailer to my vehicle and the trailer was in good condition . I will never rent anything from that location ever again.Richard M.
Everything was good upon picking the truck up. The lady was very nice and explained everything. She walked out and showed the truck to us and explained if we used the dolly or blankets it would cost money. I explained we already had two dollies. Upon delivering the truck back is when the issue started. I noticed that the bill showed that we used the blankets and the dolly. I asked the gentleman and he said that the tabs were broke and he could show me in the trash. The truth is the tabs were never broke by us and we never used the blankets. I was never shown the back of the truck after that. So all in all I will not is that location ever again due to them not being honest.Brian S.

Truck was filthy, and you reserved a trailer at a location that didn't show. So then you send me to another location that caused an extra 20 miles driving. I was supposed to pick up trailer at 9:00am finally about 10:15 I had one. And you charged me extra because I was an hour late to turn in truck which was your fault not mine.Troy C.

During the drop off process i also experienced something very frustrating and I was unhappy with U-Hauls online reservation process and final charges. So, When I started my search for a moving truck I went to budget first to do a comparative on pricing and options. Budget was a little less in cost but so was the allowed mileage and what they allowed was not enough mileage for my move, I would have had to add 15 additional mileage at $1 a mile which made it cost more than U-Haul, who listed 84 miles vs their 39. So I went with U-Haul thinking I was getting 84 miles, which was more than enough miles for my move. At drop off U-Haul said I owed an additional $14 for mileage overage. It said my trip was ? 38 miles and I was only alotted 24 miles, hence the $14 difference in the two. Unfortunately I didn't screen shot the original truck option I chose. So the approved total mileage changed sometime after I clicked rent this truck and check out. Because when I went back to look at my receipt it listed 24 miles not 84. Because I never would have imagined that what I originally chose to rent and what I actually received I didn't look to confirm the total mileage was what I originally was told. I would like someone to look into what happened here, because what was the point of me doing a comparative pricing if you change the options on your customers after they click rent this truck. Because your rental price was originally more than budget without adding mileage adding mileage made what I paid to U-Haul significant higher and I would have chosen budget. Which next time if this isn't address and resolved I will take my business to budget. Fyi, I had to move to storage until my new home is completed in about 6-8 weeks where at that time I will be renting again. I feel this was possibly a bait and switch move on U-Hauls behalf Instead of an error in computing. I would love U-Haul to prove me wrong and explain how this happens and rectify the error. I am disabled and on a fixed income so $14 is a lot to me, every penny counts for individuals just as much if not more than it does to big mayor corporations I would like to point out that the pick up point was the BP on Reason Ferry Rd just north of hwy 270 and the drop off point was gas mart (aka dickman's) off old route 21 imperial, MO. In regards to any issues I spoke of, they in no way shape or form had anything to do with the pickup or drop-off locations. My frustrations are strictly U-haul related. However Thanks for the opportunity to express my issues concerns and satisfactions during this rental. When I called to reserve the trailer. I asked the person on the phone if this trailer was equipped with a 2 inch ball hitch. As that is what I have. When I arrive to pick up the trailer we discovered that this had a inch and seven eights hitch. Which forced me to buy a smaller ball. I had to drive to a different location to obtain the ball and then return. The only ones available were too small for my receiver. The only one I could obtain was one that had three different sizes on it and cost me $60. As this U-Haul does not have any balls are hitches.CHARLES P.

When i dropped the dolly off, i was asked to park it someplace else, which is fine but, to do so â€¦ i had to go out and physically move the other car dollys myself so i could put it where they asked, no one came out to assist me in moving the other car dollys around. I went back in after unhooking my dolly, told them where i placed it and they thanked me for doing so. I asked them if they need to come and inspect it or take any of my information, or maybe the number off the dolly, and the attendant told me no, that he'd get it all later and email my receipt or confirmation. He never asked me for my name or anything. I'll go by again in the morning tomorrow because i don't want to be charged for not returning the dolly. Seems to me that upon returning a piece of equipment it would be â€œchecked inâ€ and inspected but, i was just given a thanks and see ya later!Chad F.

We were very pleased with the service. Thankfully everything was went fast without issues since we were in a time constraint. Just a comment for other customers based on reviews I read. We called to verify everything the day before to be proactive in avoiding issues the next day at pickup. Ask about hours, who will be there, where do you go into the office, where do you drop it off, etc. Make sure to confirm with them exactly how much gas is in the tank.KENNETH B.

I had a terrible experience with this rental. I never received a phone call that my pickup location changed. So I arrived at my initial pickup location at the proper time and found out I had to go to a new location over 20 minutes away in the opposite direction, thereby increasing my used mileage. Then I got there and the truck was not where the picture said it was. By the time we got everything sorted and were able to get going, we were 50 minutes into our rental period. Luckily the manager was pretty helpful and gave us extra time to use the truck. But when I got my bill, I was charged $15 for insurance that I opted out of. Honestly I wouldn't use this service again. The amount of stress caused was unnecessary.Kaitlyn W.

Triple check your paperwork. I was charged $2,000 dollars the day after my rental. I got that reversed. Then I was charged closer to the actual amount except they added 20 miles (I took a photo of my odometer) and charged me for the full six day rental even though I returned it a day early.KATHERINE R.

The dolly I needed, a furniture dolly, which I reserved two days before pickup was not available. So I got a regular dolly. Then the trailer hitch would barely tighten so we had to switch trailers. I had no straps and they had no straps to lend me to try and make a regular dolly able to be safe in pulling a washing machine up stairs. So instead I chose to take it up the side of the house because I was afraid I would do a bunch of interior damage. But it was very slanted and the washer slid off the dolly of course and in the process sprained my wrist and tweaked my shoulder. So overall I'm so pissed at whatever asshole runs this place but Uhaul may want to rethink keeping them as a partnerBrandon H.

Pick up was great. The girl was very helpful and knowledgeable. Dropping the trailer off was another story. I returned it after hours and no one at the location knew what was going on. I just called to let them know I was dropping it off after hours and was hung up on 4 times and transferred to the pizza department. I called back again and some guy finally told me where to leave the trailer. I was driving 2+ hours to bring it back on time so I was calling to make sure it was ok before I drove and got there with the trailer. Train more people. Very frustrating. Some people working there shouldn't be working there with their attitudes and behavior.elizabeth G.

Stated multiple times was this a $29.95 truck and qas assured it was only needed something cheap/small with a ramp for 2 hrs 1 item. Was billed $ 39.95 + $14 for insurance which if could 8f found place to decline it I would of being I have full coverage of my own. Was told by owner next day which he did not service me prior day that is There policy that NO one takes out without insurance which was not informed thay on day I rented. Also this truck had massive front end steering play and would not ever want to take it further than local. Very disappointed and will rent from budget if this is the way uhaul runs their business.JEFF B.
