Some sort of traning for people who are renting out your U-Hauls would be great. I signed up and put my card down for a one-way rental that was quoted to me at $131.00 (including a Dolly). When I arrived there was no Dolly available but no big deal. Then they apparently charged me for an in-town and I had to drive all the way back from my destination. This caused the price to go well over my quoted $131 which was canceled. It made no sense, because of their error I was charged more, I was inconvenienced and nobody did a damn thing to assist me.

Good morning, I had some issues with my rental my name is Brenda Lezama my original contract #28087215 indicated a pick up from Garvey Mart in South El Monte with a return to Town Rent A Car in Bellflower. Unfortunately John at the Bellflower location just took my keys without confirming anything about the truck I received a call 10 minutes later from John saying my contract stated I needed to return the truck back to South El Monte and that he needed to charge me an additional $224.64 because he had to rewrite the contract in order to return it to his location. The contract #93339123 this contract needs to be refunded in the amount of $224.64 South El Monte charged me as well with the right amount for my original contract of $98.40. I spoke to Raul on the phone Friday afternoon 2/11 when finding out Bellflower was charging me. Looking forward to this being resolved. I also have screen shots if needed. Surprised by this locations poor quality of trucks and service. I have rented uhauls before and have never been so disappointed by any other location till I went to this location. Truck was dirty, equipment (appliance dolly, furniture dolly was not in the truck). The truck felt like if it was going to turn off. The attendant at the rental place was very rude and unknowledgeable. Will never rent from that location again.

The lady didn't know what she was doing checking out truck. And when I returned truck back same day even though I had rented for 24hrs I took back because she said I needed to return before they closed. So me and my husband did just that and they never checked it back in and I had uhaul harassing me for truck and trying to charge my account again and again. Definitely not the experience I expected from a uhaul .

Your manager was supposed to call me so that I could let him/her know that the location where you rent the ubali is below average, the workers made us use their computer system and actually type up the order for the services we needed, as if we were unable employees. This morning lace should not be renting out ubau la if they don't know what they are doing and asking the customer to complete the transaction at their POS.

The attendant was not familiar with the remote check out process. He refused to give me the keys even when I showed him the confirmation email and check out screen. He demanded that I leave him a picture of my ID and phone number before he released the truck to me. The dolly I ordered was not in the truck and I had to go to another location to get one.

These guys applied the wrong charge on my credit card. The gas tank was at 1/4 when I got it and I returned it at 1/4. But they said it was at 1/8. Total fucking bullshit.

didn't know this is a remote location for a u haul. The cashier girl did not have a clue how to release the box van i order to me. waited half an hour for the main office person on the phone do the release , i had to give my credit card info again. even i have already did it on line. return was easy though

We are contesting the quote given over the phone. The rental end up at about 100.00 for only 24 hours rental....not acceptable.

The lady/ employee at Mobil Mart was as helpful as can be, but it was an overall mess. System was acting up and even with a reservation it took 1 hour and 20 minutes to solve. And on top of that, the uhaul representative Benny or Benji had the nerve to say over the phone while i was listening that it was questionable to continue my reservation since there was another reservation for the truck at 3pm and I would be going over the time limit and interfere with that reservation if i took the truck for the 4 hour reservation I originally made. I was there before 10:30 AM for my reservation at 10:30 and i couldnt take the truck until 11:50 AM due to system issues. The system counted that time of an hour and 20 minutes of their issue against my 4 hours and then said if I didn't have it back for the 2:35 PM end time they would charge me for being late. This whole situation was ridiculous and unnecessary.

Writing about my experience months ago. Plain garbage, took 45-1 hr to receive the truck. Looking back I should've just left to another location, but the employee stated it would be quick. 10 to 20 minutes for the present employee to try to process the documentation. Employee was not able to do it and called another employee or owner, had to wait 5 - 10 minutes. Another person tries to process the documentation and had to call a corporate line for assistance, another 25- 35 minutes WASTED. If you want to kill time for no reason, come here. Figure out the process and train yourselves on how the system works. Run practice tests so that the rental process is fast and efficient.

please streamline the communication, when pick up locations are changed. if the customer does not respond, keep trying. I had a very unpleasant experience due to the truck being too small (this was my fault), however the location I was rerouted to was in a different service area and could only check availability based on the immediate area. I have rented from Uhaul several times and this small move cost me more than much larger moves that I have done in the past.
