With all of the world concerns going on right now I appreciated that I was able to still rent a truck. And upon arrival I was greeted by a worker who informed me that the vehicle had been sanitized, it felt reassuring.

Trailer was frozen into ice and had to make a few trips back to office get that figured out. The link provided by text to say when I dropped off trailer was some what confusing but the person helping when I picked up trailer was very good to deal with

My only concern is that the unit listed on my contract was not available on the lot. I was given a substitute, but the only record I have is a time stamped photo of the trailer when I picked it up and dropped it off.

The only disadvantage we found was when we returned the rental van the location was closed they said it was due to the snowstorm but it was barely snowing out as it was only 3:30 in the afternoon and we did find a little bit pricey.

First time I used the online reservation app, was sceptical but all worked out no issues

They told me the truck had a full tank of gas and they expected it returned at full. The tank was below full so I refilled it to there not full. Not to mention, I didn’t have the truck for a full 2 hours so I didn’t get the message that I’d have to take photos of the keys being put in the drop box until 20 mins after I dropped off the truck. Not to mention, I don’t have data so I would not have been able to do it now I’ll be charged a 20$ convenience fee because I didn’t do this. Just a money grab. Will never use uhaul again.

Not happy with having chosen a specific pick up location for our truck to then receive a call indicating that we would have to pick up our truck not only later than desired but also at a location much farther than our chosen one. This caused us to have to drive farther with the truck resulting in going over the "allotted" Miles for the rental and then being charged for those miles.

They didnt even check the vehicle prior to us receiving it, the truck itself isn't running well it was actually terrifying driving in it and it was super hard on gas.

Truck booked for Sat. (20') was not available so they tried to sub a 10' without first notifying us in advance. This would have required several trips. Not impressed!! We were given a discount on a rebooking, but movers hired were nor available. Really stressed out the move.

Had originally reserved a 15’ truck, got bumped to a 10’ truck the week of the move, which meant 2 trips instead of one. Rental process was pleasant and easy - “just sign here and here”, $100 deposit on debit card. Great experience. After signing the rental agreement, got a text message from u-haul asking me to verify the condition of the vehicle, so I looked it over, exterior and cab were clean, didn’t look in the back so I can’t comment. Clicked the link in the text message, no pictures attached. Pointed out a spot where the truck seemed to have been repaired, they knew about it and assured me I wouldn’t be charged for it, no problems there. Worked fine, $12.50 of gas to bring it back to full. Rental on the truck was $19.95 and estimated charges were $51 with taxes and insurance so I was surprised that my final bill was $83. Turns out there was a $25 cleaning fee because we didn’t sweep out the back. I didn’t realize was that was our responsibility, it’s not in the equipment contract and nobody mentioned it at any point. Since we were early, I asked if I could just clean it out myself and avoid the fee. No go. Had to be done before returning. So the truck itself did what we needed but there were some hidden disappointments. This always seems to be the case with u-haul unfortunately so I don’t blame the people at this location, but it does not make me want to recommend the company to anyone.

Hello, I have had the most horrendous experience of renting a truck/van or car in my life. This dealership should be called up. The woman at the front desk, Maggie should be fired! I have called the office in Georgia (USA) to have someone call me. I will make it a point to tell people of my experience and the treatment I received from “Maggie” and my telephone conversation with her so call “Manager” Just disgusting! Katherine Grosman

Wiring harness for trailer was damaged at pick-up location. Location staff had left for the day a few moments after I paid for trailer - so no staff on site to help. Contacted UHaul roadside assistance who were very helpful. Used a wiring harness from an un-rented trailer and was on my way. No other issues. Trailer was in very nice shape and staff was very friendly.

A good start would be to providing goods paid for. One of the brackets was completely off the ramp not allowing us to use it properly making loading and unloading more difficult then it needed to be. There should be a discount given considering the truck was not in full working order. It's like ordering a pizza but 2 slices are missing.

It was great service at pick-up. Not impressed that my receipt isn’t tallied correctly. Supposed to be charged .49/km and was charged the .79/km. Difference of little over 4 dollars which is why I won’t call about this but overall still a good experience!

U haul was disgusting. Cup holders full of gunk. Whole truck shook like crazy while driving. Did not have option we were lookng for. Worst u haul experience i have had by far. Not coming back.

Excess Fuel Charge. Fuel burned was replaced charged additional $20 in fuel surcharge as needle was slightly below original. Pictures to back it up. The Policy for not having rental vehicles Full of Fuel at the start of each rental is ridiculous. Trying to guess how much fuel you burned in a vehicle you are unfamiliar with is ludacris. After many great experiences with U-Haul this has left a sour taste in my mouth, I felt ripped off because I highly doubt that extra Money I paid in Fuel ever made it into the gas Tank!

i would say make sure the rentee has a proper plugin for trl lights because i dint mine was round and trl only had pigtail style so had no lights

Rental was not ready as per arrangement. The unit was frozen in snow and ice and was a large delay in removal. Unit was filled with empty boxes and garbage. Attendant did not inspect the unit or offer correct procedure.

Drove bye it twice before I noticed the tiny unlit signage and the drop off yard was also unlit. Unclear where to drop off trailer. I am sure the staff are great, but this was my after hour experience.

The owner had a sign on the doot when we arrived to drop off our truck saying be back at 3pm. He never arrived till 330. Then stood outside talking to a friend while we waited. Finally talked to us and said he can't do the refund as his wife does them. She will have to do it another day. Its been a week and still havent recieved it. We called 2 days ago and he said the same thing. Still no refund. Definitely would not reccommend this location as the refund should be done immediately.

We rented a 10 Ft cube truck and my daughter went in and the clerk showed her an electronic fuel gauge. Her dad went to the truck and there was below 7/8 of a tank. He went in to speak to the clerk about the condition of the truck. She was on the phone, she placed her hand over the phone and dad asked if it was roadworthy, as the brakes were squeaking and the outside of the truck box was all dented and smashed in and the truck seemed to shimmy when moving. The clerk told him that it was roadworthy and he then indicated to the clerk that the gas showed about 7/8 of a tank. She told him it may take a minute to rise up and that it was full. She then waved him out the door and continued talking on the phone. We put 13 miles on the truck. I put gas in it and we returned the truck. The next day my daughter received the invoice, and there was a charge of 33.90 plus tax for fuel. There is no way that 13 miles would consume over 45 in gas. I called on Oct 31 and the clerk INSISTED that the truck was full when it left, I argued the fact that it should not use $45 in gas for 13 miles. The dad called and again was told by her it was full when it left, he then spoke to the manager, he said he knew nothing about the situation and would have to check into the situation. Again, it was mentioned about the condition of the truck, and the manager said that is why it is recommended not to take the truck on the highway, We have yet to hear from the manager. I am seriously considering contacting the Better Business Bureau as I have since read reviews on the web. I guess I should have read them before I rented from the UHaul Ganong Self Storage location. Pretty much all reviews are extremely poor.
