Have the sites representative literally examine the trucks for any mess that was leftover from previous user. Also, ensure that the rep is able to efficiently process a customers paperworks. It took an hour and a half for us to complete the process of picking up for a paid rental.

The online site was not user friendly. Originally requesting the truck seemed simple enough, however, the system isn't updated to what the store locations have. I requested a larger dolly and one was not provided for me, nor, was there any warning that one was not available. I was not only charged for it but I was charged more then the original quote and I drove the vehicle fewer miles then original quote, and returned it sooner then the 24 hours cleaner then received. I was charged more and didn't even get all the necessary items I needed to make this move easier.

She hasn't even inspected the truck that was turned in the day before. It was dirty and she went outside logged the fuel and then she gave me the keys. No other inspection was done.

Renting a vehicle and trailer is often a mixed experience, but Theresa and Tony made it a great experience. The national customer service rep was very friendly, but unfortunately the system didn't have the most accurate or detailed information. My car had broken down in Fort Smith while passing through town, so I needed solid information to make up for my lack of transportation. To make matters more stressful there's a large, elderly dog in the mix that doesn't do well with being left in the car for long stretches, and excludes me from many motels, vacation rentals, taxis, etc. The next morning Theresa was transparent about the situation, and patiently offered good solutions to my many questions and concerns. Being in a foreign city with a broken down car still left some logistical issues. That's where Tony (the area manager) showed up and finished saving the day. It's hard to express my gratitude for the extra help and patience. There were a hundred ways the situation could've went wrong and stranded us out of town for who knows how long, but Theresa and Tony saved the day. They took a terrible situation and turned it into what will hopefully just be an interesting story.

We set up a pickup appointment for 11:45, we arrived at 11:47 and there was nobody there. We were able to get in touch with the person who said she had just left for a birthday party and there was nobody else to cover the counter to get us checked out. She said to send her pictures and fill out the check in info on the web, which we did. She told us she would be back around the time we were going to drop off. We showed up to drop off and the door was locked, and there was no answer when we tried to call. We waited and called Customer service to make sure we didn't need to do anything else, and while on hold, she walked out the front door with/for another customer. We stopped her on her way back in and got it taken care of. She said that the check in didn't go through so she started the reservation and said she would come back and check it back in in a couple hours to complete the rental. Very unprofessional service, definitely the worst we have ever experienced with this company, and would not recommend this location to anyone, and will never use this location again.

Overcharged and lied to, we were charged a total $80 for a $19 10' truck. We maybe drove 10 miles in total from the point of leaving to the return of the vehicle at the end of our move. Everything was close by and we were told that money would be sent back into our accounts if we didn't use what was expected. We didn't even use enough gas to put 5$ in the tank at the gas station.. horrible customer service from a woman who looks like she smokes cigarettes indoors along with her dog inside of the building aswell 2/10 and only getting a 2 because the vehicle worked properly

Friendly service, but after I got the dolly, I noticed that one of the key tie-down brackets was missing one of the two screws! If I had more time I would have returned the dolly for another. I had an extra screw in my garage to fix it, but the holes didn't line up right. It looked to me like the bracket had recently been replaced and the one installed was the wrong size.

Over the years, I have used other Uhaul locations but none of them compare to this one!! I was overwhelmed by the level of professionalism and courtesy I received from Marilyn (I have never been on a first name basis with other providers)!! Marilyn is just amazing! She was so friendly and helped me decide exactly which trailer I needed for my move. She helped me hook it up and made sure I had everything I needed for a safe and successful trip. She was so friendly and she simply made renting a trailer a pleasant experience. The trailer was clean, well maintained, and towed great. I will definitely go back to Marilyn again, and I will encourage others to as well!

Marilyn was very friendly, and very helpful throughout the whole process. She walked out with me to the truck and showed me how to do everything, She explained everything so well, and when I had to call her (because I had forgotten something she told me), she was very pleasant on the phone and gave me the information I needed. I want to thank the clerk, I went in very upset over my marriage breakup. The clerk was very understanding and help in more ways than one. The clerk was very polite offered me coffee, all my credit cards were gone all I had was a prepaid card. She let me pay with cash made sure I had a mask, gloves and Clorox wipes. I felt very secure with this U-haul center.

We were sold the premium plan and advised this covered everything: damage, accident, roadside assistance. When we needed assistance with a lock door we were told by the main office this wasn't covered that we would have to pay out of pocket.

Don't make a reservation for a location that doesn't have the requested equipment. 1-800-GO-UHAUL made my reservation at Lavaca, even though I told them there was not a 26 ft truck at the Lavaca location. I was told there “probably” would be one dropped off there the night before. The local U-Haul people were extremely helpful trying to locate me the closest 26 ft truck, the 1-800-GO-UHAUL people were no help at all!

We dropped the truck off st the location at 8:20am, which was 10 minutes to early for the attendants schedule. She then miss calculated our mileage, which lead to 30 minutes of trying to discover why, finally stating it was because we got to the location before she was open. But she did waive the $20.00 fuel charge. Which I would have been happy to pay to just be on our way instead of wasting our time with the mileage issue...

I ordered my truck online and was charged double the rate and no reason why. Only had the truck for 1/2 a day. The lady we picked the the truck up from tried to fix the double charge but the system would not let her. Picked truck up. Had to stop and clean dog hair out of cab, clean windshield covered in bugs and fill up a nearly empty truck. Not a complaint so much on U-haul as it is on the location where I got it. How much effort would it take to have a truck clean and ready to go? Obviously too much for this location.

Location was great. Owner was very helpful. What i didnt like was the self checkout or return. Way to difficult and time consuming. . Then at check out it tried to double charge me. Thank goodness for the awesome owner of this location because she called and got it fixed for me. I hope you can fix all the issues with the self service cause it's terrible.

I'm not sure why the charges jumped from $19.99 to pretty much $40. I didn't go over the allowed miles and I brought the vehicle back a little over than what was required. I know it's only a matter of $20 over but if advertised for $19.99 and you stay within the limits then I feel it should be $19.99 plus taxes and/or fees......was it $20 extra in taxes and fees...??
