He was rude from the moment we were there didn't have our keys ready had to call someone else to get us checked out made it seem like we inconvenienced him for working a Saturday

Jeremy SContract #77225998 GAGE COUNTY OIL CO INC I made the reservation online approximately 45 minutes before I wanted to pick up the truck (11:00). When I arrived at the rental location, the door was locked and there was a note with a phone number to call if you need assistance. I called the number and a man answered. I told him that I had a reservation for a truck. He informed me that he had checked his system "just a couple minutes ago" and that there was no reservation. He told me that he would not be back around until around 12:00. When I look at a rental location's hours and confirm that they will be open when I need a truck, it would be nice if they were actually open. I have rented from this location on more than one occasion, and more often than not, they are not around during their business hours, and I have to call the number on the door. When a worker finally does show up, they are rude and far from accommodating. This is hands-down the worst U-Haul location I have ever had the displeasure of using. I live in a fairly small town with limited options for U-Haul locations, but I will never use this location again.

CHRISTOPHER MThe gentleman in the Beatrice was absolutely unprofessional and rude. He rolled his eyes, scoffed, and was not helpful with any of the process. He treated us as though we were stupid, and refused to answer questions. If he did answer, he told us that we scheduled this ourselves and should know what was going on. Will not be using uhaul services in the future. He also failed to mention that we had a limit of 30 miles, so we were charged extra because of the lack of communication.

Jeannie OFirst of all I declined insurance and they charged me any way. Second the truck would not start and had to be jumped every day we had it. Third the back door to load only went half way up which did not make loading easy. Fourth the gear shift didn’t work easily either. Fifth this truck had graffiti painted on it. This truck needs to be taken out of service and I respectfully request to have the amount i was charged for insurance refunded immediately.

He complained about U-Haul and set a time for 1:30 to call us. At 2:30 I called him and he was still upset that we were to pick up a truck. Truly unbelievable lack of service experience.
BILL CRudest customer service ever... Didn't answer the phone or be there for the pick up time scheduled... The procceded to call me.and be upset I wasn't there whrn he was an Hour after I'd tried going and calling to pick it up on the correct time.. Then at pick up told me it was a full tank in the vehicle.and infact it wasnt.

James FThe truck was NOT where I was told it would be. I had to drive 60 miles round trip to find one because of this. I feel I paid a lot more $50 in gasoline and my time just to move my son. Someone DROPPED the U-Haul ball on this one.
Randy BMy reservation was a complete mess, wrong size truck, not at the location you told me it would be, not ready when you told me it would be, your corporate employees were not investing in me as a customer and misinformed. Very sure I will never use U Haul again or recommend you to anyone. Your overbooking of trucks is unexcuseable and very disrespectful of your customers.
Toby TI had a confirmation to pick up a trailer at this location and when I got there to pick it up (on time) there was a note on the door saying they were closed.... Then the trailers hitch couple rattled loose as I drove so I had to stop every 50 miles to retighten it. I was supposed to get a call today from Uhaul management but still haven't...

The guy cancelled my reservation and then added 1000 miles to my trip. I rented a refrigerator cart that the wheels would not turn with weight on them and could not use it

FRED HI have attempted to rent a trailer/truck at the other 2 locations in Beatrice on a couple occasions. Every time we end up with this person. I WILL not rent another item from U-Haul ever if I have to get it from him. His hours are terrible,as he is not an operating business, he is a real jerk and I don't understand how he even stays in business. I'm not the only one who complains about this so I would hope U-Haul has the good business sense to do something about it.
Gail MThey canceled our order twice gave us double the size we needed cause they rented the one we were suppose to get that was reserved to us they canceled the order cause it was there friend and the guy running it said well I guess it just sucks to be you .. he wanted cash not a card I said I don't care as long as I get a receipt he said we can't print one then took the card and gave me a receipt really shady I would never recommend them to anyone
Dillon MThe dealer worked very hard to complete my reservation, but someone dropped the ball. He had no packing blankets or appliance dolly and it force me to drive around town to 2 other uhaul dealers to pick up the dolly and then the last one only had 6 pads. I paid for 12 but got no refund or credit for the extra mileage picking up the missing items or only recieving half the pads.

joy YWOULD HAVE BEEN FAR MORE CONVENIENT AND COST EFFECTIVE IF THE LOCATION IN TECUMSEH WOULD HAVE HAD TRUCKS OR OFFERED TO GET A TRUCK FOR US INSTEAD OF MAKING US PAY FOR AN EXTRA 36 MILES THAT WAS REALLY UNNEEDED BY HAVING TO DRIVE TO BEATRICE NE TO GET A TRUCK BACK TO TECUMSEH AND THEN BACK TO BEATRICE. I FOUND THAT TO BE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. ALSO FELT IT WAS INAPPROPRIATE FOR THE MAN AT THE BEATRICE STORE TO ASK IF THE MAN WITH ME WAS MY HUSBAND OR BOYFRIEND I REALLY DON'T FEEL THAT WAS ANY OF HIS BUSINESS AND MADE ME FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE. ALSO FOUND THIS SAME PERSON TO BE RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL WHEN WE WENT IN TO RENT A UHAUL WITH HIS COMMENTS ABOUT THERE BEING REQUIREMENTS TO RENT A UHAUL. MADE ME FEEL LIKE HE THOUGHT WE WOULD NOT MEET THOSE REQUIREMENTS. IF I HAD NOT NEEDED THE TRUCK I WOULD HAVE LOOKED ELSEWHERE FOR A RENTAL TRUCK.

SHAWN RIt was very frustrating at the drop off point, because the owner was never there to collect my deposit back. Had to call the business number, then there was no answer, but got a cell number to call. After I got a hold of him, I had to make arrangements to meet with him to get my deposit. My contract was not entered correctly into the computer, so he had to call the point of orgin to straighten it out. Instead of of getting my deposit back on Monday when I drove 24 miles round trip to pick it up, I had to do it again the following day after making arrangements on what time i would be there. Very Frustrating on my end. Thanks I hope this helps!

Joanne DI've rented from this location before, and normally have been charged a 1 day rental for Saturday/Sunday because I have to pick up early with office closing at 11. This time I was charged for 2 days...not happy about that. Will find another location next time.

CODY MWe brought the vehicle back the same day. We had called to advise we never received a dolly - but were charged $125 as it was missing. This led to multiple calls to have the $125 charge removed. We still have never been reimbursed for the charge to rent it. In addition we received multiple calls 2 days later asking why the U-Haul was not returned. It had been sitting at the drop-off location the entire time and they simply had not yet checked it in. I'm still uncertain why the shop itself was not first contacted to ask if the vehicle was there. Would have saved a ton of calls and frustration. I would not recommend renting from U-Haul. We certainly will not again.
