The gentleman at this location was rude to say the least. He seemed put out when we called to say we were to pick up a truck. His service skills deserve one star. He complained about U-Haul and set a time for 1:30 to call us. At 2:30 I called him and he was still upset that we were to pick up a truck. Truly unbelievable lack of service experience.

Rudest customer service ever... Didn't answer the phone or be there for the pick up time scheduled... The procceded to call me.and be upset I wasn't there whrn he was an Hour after I'd tried going and calling to pick it up on the correct time.. Then at pick up told me it was a full tank in the vehicle.and infact it wasnt.

The truck was NOT where I was told it would be. I had to drive 60 miles round trip to find one because of this. I feel I paid a lot more $50 in gasoline and my time just to move my son. Someone DROPPED the U-Haul ball on this one.

My reservation was a complete mess, wrong size truck, not at the location you told me it would be, not ready when you told me it would be, your corporate employees were not investing in me as a customer and misinformed. Very sure I will never use U Haul again or recommend you to anyone. Your overbooking of trucks is unexcuseable and very disrespectful of your customers.

I had a confirmation to pick up a trailer at this location and when I got there to pick it up (on time) there was a note on the door saying they were closed.... Then the trailers hitch couple rattled loose as I drove so I had to stop every 50 miles to retighten it. I was supposed to get a call today from Uhaul management but still haven't...

My reservation was changed to this location after I made it for a different place. It took 1 hours to get the truck and I was the only customer. The guy cancelled my reservation and then added 1000 miles to my trip. I rented a refrigerator cart that the wheels would not turn with weight on them and could not use it

I have attempted to rent a trailer/truck at the other 2 locations in Beatrice on a couple occasions. Every time we end up with this person. I WILL not rent another item from U-Haul ever if I have to get it from him. His hours are terrible,as he is not an operating business, he is a real jerk and I don't understand how he even stays in business. I'm not the only one who complains about this so I would hope U-Haul has the good business sense to do something about it.

They canceled our order twice gave us double the size we needed cause they rented the one we were suppose to get that was reserved to us they canceled the order cause it was there friend and the guy running it said well I guess it just sucks to be you .. he wanted cash not a card I said I don't care as long as I get a receipt he said we can't print one then took the card and gave me a receipt really shady I would never recommend them to anyone

The dealer worked very hard to complete my reservation, but someone dropped the ball. He had no packing blankets or appliance dolly and it force me to drive around town to 2 other uhaul dealers to pick up the dolly and then the last one only had 6 pads. I paid for 12 but got no refund or credit for the extra mileage picking up the missing items or only recieving half the pads.

WOULD HAVE BEEN FAR MORE CONVENIENT AND COST EFFECTIVE IF THE LOCATION IN TECUMSEH WOULD HAVE HAD TRUCKS OR OFFERED TO GET A TRUCK FOR US INSTEAD OF MAKING US PAY FOR AN EXTRA 36 MILES THAT WAS REALLY UNNEEDED BY HAVING TO DRIVE TO BEATRICE NE TO GET A TRUCK BACK TO TECUMSEH AND THEN BACK TO BEATRICE. I FOUND THAT TO BE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. ALSO FELT IT WAS INAPPROPRIATE FOR THE MAN AT THE BEATRICE STORE TO ASK IF THE MAN WITH ME WAS MY HUSBAND OR BOYFRIEND I REALLY DON'T FEEL THAT WAS ANY OF HIS BUSINESS AND MADE ME FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE. ALSO FOUND THIS SAME PERSON TO BE RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL WHEN WE WENT IN TO RENT A UHAUL WITH HIS COMMENTS ABOUT THERE BEING REQUIREMENTS TO RENT A UHAUL. MADE ME FEEL LIKE HE THOUGHT WE WOULD NOT MEET THOSE REQUIREMENTS. IF I HAD NOT NEEDED THE TRUCK I WOULD HAVE LOOKED ELSEWHERE FOR A RENTAL TRUCK.

It was very frustrating at the drop off point, because the owner was never there to collect my deposit back. Had to call the business number, then there was no answer, but got a cell number to call. After I got a hold of him, I had to make arrangements to meet with him to get my deposit. My contract was not entered correctly into the computer, so he had to call the point of orgin to straighten it out. Instead of of getting my deposit back on Monday when I drove 24 miles round trip to pick it up, I had to do it again the following day after making arrangements on what time i would be there. Very Frustrating on my end. Thanks I hope this helps!

I've rented from this location before, and normally have been charged a 1 day rental for Saturday/Sunday because I have to pick up early with office closing at 11. This time I was charged for 2 days...not happy about that. Will find another location next time.

We brought the vehicle back the same day. We had called to advise we never received a dolly - but were charged $125 as it was missing. This led to multiple calls to have the $125 charge removed. We still have never been reimbursed for the charge to rent it. In addition we received multiple calls 2 days later asking why the U-Haul was not returned. It had been sitting at the drop-off location the entire time and they simply had not yet checked it in. I'm still uncertain why the shop itself was not first contacted to ask if the vehicle was there. Would have saved a ton of calls and frustration. I would not recommend renting from U-Haul. We certainly will not again.

The guy there was rude, then he stated a mileage that was incorrect and when going back to let him know he left so we ended up paying for miles we didn't use....we had no number to contact him. This location should be shut down....we will never go back.

We got charged for more miles than what we drove. Thank god I wrote down the ending mileage. It was corrected. Also we did not check the beginning mileage but I am pretty sure it was wrong also. He is rude and has no skills for customer service.

I was unable to get a trailer at Lincoln, Nebraska so had to go to Beatrice to get one. I should have be able to drop it off in Lincoln instead of going back to Beatrice.

One reservation screwed up, then a second, then an equipment failure, then arguing about not returning a replacement trailer to Junction City KS... It was one nightmare after another. Some Uhaul's fault, some because of circumstance. The gentleman in Beatrice was very helpful and friendly once he understood my situation. The original rental at PBS in Crete once again was a dismal failure. I will never attempt business there again. The owner would not answer the phone when the traffic office was trying to reach him. The wheel bearing failed on the dolly and trying to get a replacement to get on my way took over four hours. The people were great but the time it took was horrible when I was only 25 miles from a near Uhaul vendor.

At the tme of delivery the dealer was closed, the phone number posted recieved my call and directed me where to drop the trailer and even offerd to come down to print out a reciept if need be. very helpful. I did forget to tell them that the packing blankets were in the trailer folded as requested from the pick up location. I have not heard from them so believe it was in adiquit condition for them.

Terrible experience. The guy at the pickup location had no clue I even had a reservation. He couldn't access the internet to check on it, and ended up having to call Uhaul customer service to have them rent the truck to me over the phone. I had to give them all the same information that I had already entered online the night before. Why did I even make the reservation online if no one knew about it and my information wasn't even retained? Also, there was no one at the location to check the truck back in when I dropped it off. Over 12 hours later we received a call that the truck was damaged. There were 45 mph winds that night which certainly could have blown something into the truck. They took over $600 out of my checking account without even notifying me first or giving me an opportunity to dispute the damages. When I called customer service the representative was very rude. He couldn't even tell me what was wrong with the truck that some of the parts needed replaced. He told me I was liable for the truck until it was checked in. There was no one there to check it in at the drop off time so it wasn't checked in until over 12 hours later. He told me I was liable for anything that happened to the truck during that entire time even though we had returned it and parked it on the lot exactly where we had picked it up. He refused to let me speak with a supervisor or manager.... Said he doesn't have one. I asked to speak to another representative and he said he was the only one. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN AND I DISCOURAGE ANYONE ELSE FROM DOING SO.

Truck was suppose to be available at 8:00 am on 1/3/14. Was unable to get the truck until after 10:00 am due to owner not coming into the store until 10:00 am. Wrong size truck, no blankets were available that were ordered. Over charged us in mileage and refused to refund our money. First time U-Haul users and also the last time we will EVER use U-Haul to move. Worst experience of our lives. Owner was terribly RUDE to us and we felt we should have left then. Wished we would have now. VERY VERY BAD OVERALL EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!

This person who was in charge was a nightmare. First I called to get exact location, and he told me to go somewhere else, but yet when I found where he was located I saw he had other trailers like mine, so I pulled in and walked in at 10:00 AM, when i walked in he said we are closed. I said no your not it says here on uhaul contract you are open at 9:15 am. He said your the lady that just called, I said yes but i saw you had one trailer like mine, he said in a huff, ok ill take you, with that he proceeded to un hitch the trailer from my truck, he was cussing say how much he hated the U haul company and he wasnt going to use them anymore that they always screwed him over. He then threw the trailer down HARD from the tow hitch, and i said do we need to check in, he said ill check you in, but I knew he didnt even write my name down to know who we were. I called and complained, the cussing with the F Bomb really upset me, and well being older I was totally offended by his treatment of me. I would never treat anyone like that.

This facility was closed when we arrived - presumably for a federal holiday. We had no contact with personal there, but all went well. There was no dropbox here for after hours returns. Contacted U-Haul Traffic Control for instructions and learned that there is a procedure for returning rentals when no dropbox is present. Maybe this information is posted somewhere but if so, I missed it. Altogether, a good experience.

I was threatened that if the trailor was not returned 2 hours before it was due back I would be charged 2 extra days and a one way trip to texas!. I thought this was truly unfair!

I reserved my truck 6-8 months ago because it is May and many are getting out of school. I wanted to pick up the truck in Manhattan, KS and ended up having to pick it up in Beatrice which is 1 1/2 hours away from either destination point. Very disappointed!
