Truck was NOT where the app said it was, so I could not find it. Before I even got the key, the app glitched out and said I had my truck already. No answer when I tried to chat with someone for help. Bad experience and made me even more stressed on a stressful moving day.

Moving equipment was not in the truck. Truck was stuck in snow. Took 2 hours to get out. We were told 2 days of use. We had it for 3 and were CHARGED for 3. Customer service is not available before 9. UI for the app is awful. You close out of everything you’re doing if you push 1 wrong button (even if it’s the only one available) We were not allowed to pick a drop off time. Also UI ISSUE.

This guy was late by half an hour on pickup, said would be there until 6, but was gone before 5:30. Key fob too big for night drop, no other options available. The vehicle itself was fine and in good working order. I don’t understand how they maintain a franchise with this type of service.

Had hard time to open the lock if the key box. Very old and stuck. Took about 20 minutes to work. Had to wait more than 20 minutes waiting for customer service. The driver door need to be slammed very hard to lock.

I was needing assistance which I was told by CS would be there in 30 minutes. Over an hour later he still hasn’t shown up. The issue put me hours behind cause I had to wait til the shop opened to proceed with the pick up in person.

If a reservation is made with additional equipment such as furniture pads, please make sure the furniture pads are actually in the truck. This is the second time I’ve rented from this location and add ons I’ve reserved have not been included.

The uhaul automated app is way too complex and prone to failure. it took twice as long to do the pickup and the return. Using an app on a small handheld device in a parking lot trying to upload a picture of a license that meets your electronic whatever is not the proper way to do business. All it does is places all the burden of the transaction on your customer. It isn't making things easier by any means. I'll never use uhaul again.

Owner of this business was unprepared for me and another customer on day of pickup. Uhaul also failed to contact me about a change of location, so the location I used opened two hours later than I needed plus the owner was 50 minutes late to getting to said place of business. Overall a disappointing and unprofessional experience from all parties involved

Ref. customer service number 2716476. The vehicles right front tire blew out. While on the Highway. We could have been killed. It took the Roadside Assist over 4 hours to get to us because of poor communication in your company. After he finally got there and changed it, he inspected it too see if there was a hole in the tire and there wasn’t. It was a defective tire. The damn thing literally blew right off the rim. If my driver was not so experienced, we very easily could have been killed. This and all other events surrounding it are a very very poor reflection on your company. Not to mention the harassing phone calls from the guy who rented it too us even after I told him what had happened. That Asshole kept calling about his fuckin piece of shit truck while we were sitting in between a highway on ramp and speeding traffic. I’m mad as hell. I don’t think I should have had to pay one single penny for this. Refund my money

The lock boxes for the keys are too high! I’m 5’2 and could not see the lock face to enter the code. Had to have my husband come to open. The app also kept crashing-black screen. Had to call the 1-800 number and have them transfer me to the correct department to get the code. Frustrating experience!

The cab was full of dirt and dog hair and the back was full of dirt - had to clean it out before I could use it. Then I tried to report that it needed cleaning and the app tried to give me a $25 cleaning fee so I had to toggle that off, but it really needs cleaning!

It’s not marked very well. While the process wasn’t the easiest and kinda all over the place it was nice not to have to talk to anyone. It just wants the most convenient for the truck to be as far from the key boxes. I wouldn’t have known the keys were where they were if I hadn’t had a second set of eyes.

Drove from Minnesota to Madison to pick up an appliance and was not given the appliance dolly we needed. I had to go to a different location and rent a dolly because you couldn't have it ready when we got there qnd no one to talk to. Had to be standing in front of the building door to check in online but the truck was in front of a completely different building so we had to start the check in hundreds of feet from the actual truck or the software kept telling us we weren't at the location but I couldn't have been more at the location unless I was inside. Not having a dolly made uhaul useless to me I can't lift a move dryer by myself. Also, it took 35 minutes from beginning to end to sign into get the truck. It just kept loading information. I will not use uhaul again. The trucks tire sensor was on the whole time including when we picked it up. Have a truck without issues for the person please. 300 dollars for the amount of issues you have as a company with your software and incompetent people preparing yiur trucks is wayyyyyyy tooooo much.

At this location charging more than customer agreed and behaving like he need some free money .instead of telling customer the final price at the handover. He says will email receipt and charges extra charges like more gallons of gas adding services which are not selected. Uhal reputation is a problem with this location..

This satellite location was fine, but the process for getting the keys was quite unclear. Similarly, when dropping off the van, uploading pictures to the U-Haul website was clunky and slow.

When doing the self check in on my phone, between the text messages and emails I felt I had to do everything twice in terms of checking in, taking pictures as well as the check out process. I thought it was unfair that who ever was using it before me, left it on a third of a tank and I ended up getting charged for a large amount for gas.

This place is closed until 1pm and my pick up was at 9am. I was on hold for 20 min waiting to talk to staff and was told I had a 24 hour pick up. I never got a call to confirm anything the day before or to tell me about my pick up switch up. This was a terrible experience with U-Haul

Nobody was there when I arrived. I eventually called and I think it was the owner who told me “well I normally don’t work Saturdays and I thought your pick up was at 1:30 not 1:00, but I’ll be there before then.” My reservation was definitely for 1:00 so my first experience with him was that he was rude. The owner finally arrived a little after 1:00. I go in to pick up thebkeys, he didn’t check my license, he didn’t give me drop off instructions, barely anything was said. I go through my move and drop off the van and of course the guy isn’t there anymore. I get back to cleaning my apartment to find out oh I was supposed to take pictures and do this return process on my phone that he didn’t tell me about. Would it be so difficult to say “Hey I won’t be here when you drop this off so there’s a text with a link sent to you, please make sure to fill that part out or I can do it but you’ll be charged $20.” I was moving shit literally all day and was barely on my phone, especially once I got the van I didn’t have time to check my texts. I did try to go back to look and see if I could still take care of it via my phone but couldn’t because everything was locked up. I can’t remember the last time I interacted with a proprietor who cares so little.

Possibly due to 4G network but the website on the mobile interface is not great. The website errored out when making the reservation, so I made a reservation at another location. Come to find out that the first reservation was made so I had to cancel the second. When I picked up the vehicle, again, errors in the mobile website made me repeat the checks in freezing windchill weather. When I dropped off the vehicle, the same thing happened with errors, so I had to repeat the process in freezing cold weather again. Vehicle was great otherwise, but website needs some work. Could be some intermittent issues but my experience with the website was pretty bad. One thing to note: not sure if this was the odometer or if I made a mistake but the website said that the odometer should read at a certain number, but it was a completely different number when I got in the vehicle. Both the attempt to input the correct number and the attempt to post a picture of the milage failed. I can provide these if asked but my solution to get away from freezing cold weather was to apply the milage difference from my trip to the number that the website was giving me. Overall, a pretty bad experience despite the physical components (vehicle, keys, location) being all good.

Independent uHaul retailer charged me for insurance without my knowledge or consent….would have opted out if I knew. Then when I found out he put on my bill….he avoided talking to me “had to run off to handle other business”. Also trailer was returned well before the time it was due back…operator charged me for the next day! Completely criminal and unacceptable on both accounts. I will be pursuing remedy on both charges. It was a little hard to find. Would be nice to have a sign by the road. Saw the storage units next door and assumed it was in there (maps led me there too) so I was co fused at first before seeing the UHaul trucks next door.

My original request was for the Packers Ave location and I was able to get the code for the lock box and there was no key in it. I was on hold for over an hour, transferred to multiple people, only to result in having to drive 30 minutes to the other side of town to another location to actually get a truck.

GS Ski Tunes owner was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely rent from there again. Van was in good shape and made the move easy. Only area to improve was the presence of dog hair on the passenger seat from previous use. My wife didn't care for that and had to use a blanket to cover the seat.
