Truck roof was leaking water. Got a lot of Mr antique furniture wet. Had 2 or 3 spots down passenger wall rhat were leaking.

carolyn thompsonGood Morning, When I received the rental, it was in superb condition. Very clean, full tank of gas and air fresheners were awesome! Upon entering the vehicle one morning, I noticed there was a Reese's wrapper on the floor (I have not had any Reese's for several years and don't eat them much), a white substance on both the driver and passenger side seats and there was dirt on the floor on the passenger side. Knowing that I did not have any passengers while I personally drove the rental, I inquired about whether or not there was an additional key to the rental Uhaul van. I also noticed that morning while driving that there seemed to be a hesitation while shifting from first to second gear, which was not there prior. When I inquired, I was told that one of the workers there experienced the same thing when he drove one because he had mistakenly placed it in another gear other than Drive. I informed him at the time, that wasn't the case as I am an experienced driver. I also let them know that there was a toothpick and what appeared to be a dried, dark sticky substance in the front console cup holders, of which I did not do. I indicated that there seems to have been a possibility that either while parked at my place of employment or while parked outside of where I have been temporarily living, someone broke into the vehicle or my keys were taken/used without my knowledge by either a coworker or the person I am currently temporarily living around. Additionally, I have concerns that the odometer reading is inaccurate or may have been tampered with. I brought all of this to the attention of one of the workers at Friendly Pawn. I returned the vehicle with a full tank of gas, cleaned out the cup holders and purchased an air freshner as there had been one in the Uhaul van upon the start of my rental. This Uhaul rental experience was definitely better than my prior one of which I was charged over $300.00 incorrectly. I still haven't received a credit for that from that location - which has now become a restaurant, I think by the name Nacho Shack, here in Havelock, N. Carolina.

carter brandtMy issue is I had reserved a Uhaul to be returned in Morehead NC only to be told I had to return in Havelock. Then get billed 52.00 for additional mileage. Large portion of the amount was the drive from Morehead to Havelock. Was dark on the return and lot was dark. It was clean. So disappointed in the return procedure.
Michael JamisonThe truck was not clean in the back or in the front. We had to sweep it out and it old papers and trash in the cab. It also smelled like a dead animal, I had to drive with the windows down.

Harry Wilson JrThey hit me with the added cost of $154. I showed them where the 5 extra days were accounted for on the contract. Initially the trailer comes with 5 days to go from MO to NC, but I wanted 5 extra at $20 per day. The base price went from $306 to $406 because the $100 was added to the $306. I should Not be charged any more.
ROBERT ADELSPERGERTires were under inflated and trailer was covered by n sand as if it had been pulled down a dirt road on a rainy day. Tire straps were also covered in sand.

rhonda canadaFacility was closed when we arrived. Being older than probably most customers, I had difficulty getting the large box trailer disconnected by myself. I found the self check out process is timely and cumbersome. These aren’t criticisms but more of a learning experience for the next time.

ANDREI CLOSSAlso, the ratchet straps that held the vehicle on the trailer secured by the agent in Fredericksburg had completely come off the tire. They were the security keeping the vehicle on the trailer!!. Both were totally off the tires

micheal madsenThe staff seemed as if they didn’t want to help me. I wasn’t asked if I wanted the protection plan and it was just added without my knowledge even though I only needed the van for approximately 1 hour or less. Then she stated well you asked for a van so I assumed you knew it came with the protection plan and I told her it was my first time and typically people will still discuss additional add on with someone before just charging their cards. Also, when I went to leave my fiancé noticed the tire was flat and psi was at 18. I went back in and 2 of the employees were rolling around in wheel chairs not even acknowledging I needed assistance, I stated the tire issue and the guy told me it’s just the sensor so I proceeded to explain that the tire looked flat. The manager told him to go check it out and he seemed like it was an issue to get up and come look. She then asked if he had a gauge with him since he said the sensor is messed up and he told her no and kept walking out. Outside he told me it just the way the truck is parked yet when he pulled it to a different position it was still flat. The manager told him to put air in it and he still seemed bothered. When I went to return the van the girl playing in the wheel chair made me very uncomfortable. She would look at me and just look down and laugh. I will never go to this location again. Very uncomfortable. And not as easy as I thought it would be. I was very disappointed especially when I came back to return the van and waited while they helped another couple and saw that the other couple renting got a way better experience and was offered the protection plan and not just added on and was thanks for their business yet I received the opposite. I assumed it was a bad day but when I saw the other couple getting treated differently it made me upset.
