I did the after hours checkin and that experience could have been better. It would have been nice to know prior to me pulling into the parking lot to know that I needed a second form of photo ID or another way to verify who I am. I scheduled the rental a week before I needed the truck so I could be ready for our move and I feel like the checkin process could have been betterRyan H.

This entire experience was a catastrophe: 1) The truck we reserved in Mesa, AZ was not ready at the pick-up location and we received no advanced communication; 2) The truck we finally got from another location was defective (HUGE jackhammer-like rattle at 55 mph); 3) The replacement truck we were supposed to pick-up was 35 miles away in North Scottsdale, AZ was not there (we were told that it was not a 'long-haul vehicle' and couldn't go out-of-state; 4) We had to find found our own replacement truck in Tempe, AZ while customer service kept us on endless-hold with rude and unprofessional comments; 5) This cascade of delays put us 4 hours behind in our plans to move; 6) We were never assigned or informed of a specific drop-off location in our destination city, and when we tried to do an after-hours drop-off on Sunday evening, we were unable to do so and told to bring the truck to another location because "... another family is scheduled to pick that truck up there tomorrow." #NeverAgainUhaul #NotWorthTheCost #CheapPricesCheapServiceMICHAEL L.

I rented this 26 foot truck almost a month before I needed it. I called U-Haul directly to set everything up. 1) I had to drive almost 80 miles round trip to pick it up. That's the best you can do U-Haul? 2) The U-Haul agent suggested 4-5 dozen blankets. I ordered 4 dozen blankets, and when I picked up the truck they had 3 blankets (not 3 dozen but 3 blankets total) I went to a U-Haul store a few miles away and they had no blankets and they said U-Haul all over the Phoenix area were out of blankets. Why did the agent rent me 4 dozen blankets when you have none? If they would have told me of a potential shortage when I placed my order, I would have had several weeks to buy blankets. Instead several of my items got damaged because they were not protected by blankets.GARY C.

Sun visor was broken on the driver side at pick up. Debris in cargo area at pick up. Gas and brake was really touchy. The attendant at pick up was very friendly and helpful.Rebekah M.
U-haul called me about 8am and said to drop off trailer at this location. When I got there the owner refused to accept it. I said I was told to come here. He didn't care. I called the number on the text I had received in case of any problems. I was on hold for over 30 minutes with 2 different agents. The second agent called the facility and he finally accepted the return. Terrible service from both the facility and U-Haul.Ray M.

I was not able to do the non contact portion of sharing my license. I don't agree with giving you access to my camera. So the gentleman had to take the pictures. This was not advantageous for me. That is U Haul's problem not the location.VICKI P.

There was a mis-understanding between me and the person who picked up the truck and I accidentally filled the tank full instead of half way. Would appreciate a call and/or chat about the difference in the cost of refueling.Lisa N.
Verify that all parts that are supposed to move actually move. One of the hold downs for the auto transporter was jambed and would not work. I did not discover this until I started trying to load a vehicle. Fortunately I had some hold down straps or I would have been out of luck.Richard G C.

Friendly's was not friendly. I should have bought the adapter at autozone for seven dollars. Buying it from Friendly's was 20.00 a huge markup. Also the advertised cost for the trailer was 168.00. My bill was 220.00 and not explained up front. I would not use these guys again.ROBERT E.

The pickup truck is WITHOUT a hitch and I went to pick up uboxes at other uhaul. Then I didnt realize there was no hitch. Other uhaul places do come with a hitch. I wont go to Friendly Auto Centers again.Frank V.

The inside of the truck was wet. I had to make a stop for towels to dry the floor, ceiling, and walls. I paid for a dolly and furniture pads , but they were not in the truck. Check in and check out is a marathon on the phone in the parking lot.Stephen S.

Absolutely horrendous. Enclosed trailer was not only muddy, caked, and filthy on the inside, but was also on the outside. And to top it all off the guy hooked it up, and never told me NONE of the lights worked! I got pulled over and given a warning! If anything I'd say they stole $100 from me for the hassle they caused me. Very upset and disappointed. I'd ask for a refund but so have no idea how!!!Justin S.
