The person in the office was snipy and a little rude. We have rented there numerous times. We had to walk all the way back to get the truck because she was to tired to get it.!

There was very little internet to complete the "wireless" experience with my phone. It took 45 minutes to load the images that I had to take the morning of (this could have been done before when I originally did the rental, would have saved time and frustration), I had to drive to my brother's house a mile away to complete the process, one image wouldn't load. Once I finally got the key box code, drove back to the rental place, there were NO KEYS in the box. The customer service girl called the owner and he said to wait until 1000, which was 2 hours past my pick up time OR go the next closest dealer, which was WAY out of my way. Once I got the keys, all went well. When I came back to return the truck at noon, which was my scheduled time, the girl was leaving for her lunch break - luckily for me, she came to help me first. I did receive a $50 credit, which I appreciate since it was only a short trip. This mostly paid for my rental. I think U-Haul should have mobile hot spots if the customer is expected to use their mobile device for their service in the future, especially in rural settings like ours.... I sure won't use it again.

We received a call a half an hour before closing to see where we were at. We arrived five minutes later. The lady wanted me to sign all paperwork without mentioning a walk around of the truck. I asked about it at the end and she said we could, but I decided to trust her and said, "that's ok". Wrong move because when we got to our destination and opened the back, there was mud everywhere! It took a long time to clean so we wouldn't get charged. Also, the Uhaul CSR told me that the storage personnel would give us our drop off location, but she had no information for me. The up side of this location is that it's not far off the freeway and has a bathroom.

I dropped off the truck when the office was closed. That was convenient. I looked online for the quick Check-In I was told about but could not find it. That's an important thing. It should be on page 1, not buried in tons of advertising.

Searching for a truck to rent was difficult because the website makes me pick the truck I want and then after tells me if it is available at that location. Look at Redbox movie rental, you can pick a movie from the list then their website tells me where it's available for pick up. A much easier process.

I was charged $28 for insurance when it was supposed to be $10 and $14 for a dolly that was clearly marked $7. I don't know what else I was charged because I didn't receive a receipt because the uhaul system was down when I went to get the van.

I've used Uhaul.com to reserve trucks before but neither time was able to get the truck I wanted from the location I wanted (what was shown as available on the site). I called Freeway Mini Storage and reserved a truck with no hassles. I was a customer with the facility and they didn't even ask for a credit card to hold it. The price was exactly as quoted.

I was unable to find “ return my truck “ on the dashboard of my account. Again we were very frustrated. Had to leave the truck with the keys locked into the bed a lady from the location contacted me when they opened and was very friendly and helpful. I don’t think I will ever use self pickup or drop off again which is horrible because if it worked it would be beneficial to use after hours.

Cab was dirty with dog hair everywhere. The cab smelled like dog. The passenger window was smeared with dog drool. Glad I'm not allergic to dogs! In order to rent I need to moving to address. Why? I didn't know it and it took a while to get it.

The young lady that works there in the office is amazing but there is an older one, blonde, short hair, glasses and is just a disaster. Not sure why they keep her on the payroll! But the young lady has always treated us right. If we ever need an in-town UHaul we will go there!

You can make sure the measurements for your 15 foot trucks are correct on your website & the chart at the rental place. We rented based on those sizes, our item fit the measurements given, but at the store the door was a foot too small when it was supposed to be 6 feet by 7 or a bit bigger than that. So we did att of that traveling (1.5 hours) for nothing because you told us WRONG. Then the corporate lady gives a refund & the regional one takes it mostly away (all but 50) then hangs up when I am upset! Uhaul sucks!

Gave me the wrong paperwork, it was somebody else's storage payment receipt. Even after I had filled out the online check in and told her where we were going, she didn't tell me that the truck I was renting had to be returned to the location I picked it up at. But after calling the regional office and speaking with Christina, she was able to relieve my stress and set it up so I could return the truck to the Maple Valley .So what started out as a bad experience ended up being turned around and saved.

I filled the truck en route, but the gas gauge only showed it to be 3/4 full. The gas attendant continued trying to put in more fuel, but said he couldn't, because the tank was full. The gas gauge was all over the place - up and down. Prior to brining the truck back, I put $20 into it to bring it to 1/2 tank and drove 15 miles to the drop off location. The gas gauge read 1/4 tank when I arrived, which was less than the 3/8 tank I had when it was rented. I was charged $16.50 for fuel because of the screwy gas gauge. This truck was a piece of shit that I had paid $265 to use for a 225 mile delivery.

The people running the show over there in Shelton WA, on Craig street, made renting from U-Haul almost as care free as if I owned the truck myself. There was a major computer glitch and without any hesitation, he quickly worked around it. My recommendation to U-Haul is hire more employees like these guys.
