Got a call from the employee with an attitude about where the truck was parked and that he had to go in on his day off to move it. No instructions on where to park the truck at the location. Also there were no signs or instructions on where the key drop box is located.Andrew B.

Your Uhaul/share process and website is very buggy and error prone. First, though I set up this option from the start, the UHaul agent I spoke to when making my reservation didn't enter it as a virtual/share pickup. So - when I arrived on a Sunday morning, I completed the wrong paperwork. When I called to fix that, the agent just said I have to login and complete it - they couldn't help me. On my 2nd call, my reservation was changed to a share option. Then the geo-location didn't work. Then it required me to input more info to confirm my identity. (Which was also poorly designed - the share program asked me to take a photo of my reservation, which of course is impossible with a virtual/online reservation. Calling my work on a Sunday to confirm my identity is also stupid.) It took almost and hour, 3 phone calls, 4 agents plus the online chat before I could actually get the truck. And then - the location of the truck itself wasn't listed. I had to hunt for the truck before I finally found it in a back parking lot of a large strip mall. Such a waste of time.Daniel W.
Your corporate reservations system is abysmal. I reserved a 26 foot truck only to ne told 2 days before pickup the closest one was 256 miles away and I was welcome to fetch it. You really know how to make a girl cry.COREEN M.

Our original pick up location was changed the day before we were supposed to pick it up due to availability. The new location was 4.5 hours west of where we were-one way! Uhaul employees were less than concerned about the fact that it was adding a 9 hour drive to our move.Joe M.

We did not know what information we would need for pick up until we ARRIVED at the location, at which point we needed a paper lease agreement which we did not have on hand. We were not giving the items we paid for Including dolly's, and furniture pads. The employees were kind enough to give us our money back for those. 1400 mile move and y'all gave me a truck with a quarter tank. On which planet y'all living on that makes that okay? NOT TO MENTION, y'all made me travel 40 minutes south, one way, to pick up the truck with your last minute location change. That's a bit much. Added a ton of time. Also, the parking lot for pick up was insanely out of the way (only a five minute walk, but that's kind of unacceptable for a uhaul pickup. Especially when the attendant says, â€œjust walk that way and you'll eventually find it) Wildly unacceptable overall. 0/10, do not recommendCatherine L.

I was double charged, it was a one way trip I rented from the holly location in centennial and dropped the truck off in Brighton, I was charged $146.64 at the holly location and $164.12 at the Brighton location, then when I called to ask for help with this the person at the holly location couldn't give me any information and told me to call back Tuesday I'm very disappointed with the customer service with uhaul and I'd like to get one of the double charged payments back.MATTHEW B.

The truck was old. You could not shift easily between park and drive. The ramp would get stuck and getting it in or out was very hard. The alinement was also off and made it hard.Jennifer B.
Our moving truck was supposed to have guaranteed availability but when I got to the Uhaul facility, they only had one truck left and it wasn't running. The employee had to go to another Uhaul location to pick up another truck. Meanwhile because the scramble I was so late to get back home and my moving help had been waiting for almost an hour. I had to pay them for the time they waited plus additional for the time missed. Uhaul never did anything to make the situation right. So unprofessional and a huge waste of money.Geehae M.

Had a rental for 8:30AM sent me to one location then they said Corporate changed the location went there and it wasn't opened until 10AM and I had a crew of people ready for me at 9:00 . We were told to try another store but they were already out of 20ft trucks so we had to reschedule our crew until later in the day . We finally walked out of the rental around 9:30 only because we caught a worker that was there early.Mike B.

The entire process from pick up to drop off was horrible. This has nothing to do with Freedom Golf but everything with Uhaul and it's 24/7 process. 1) the app would not let me log in as it couldn't "locate" me. I verified multiple times the settings were correct and still nothing. 2) when I opened up my reservation through my account, it somehow changed my pick up from online to in person. Problem is, my pick up was scheduled for 7am and the store didn't open until 10am. 3) Called the customer service line, waited on hold for 27 minutes before hanging up. My wife was able to log into the account on her phone and requested a call. 4) 45 minutes after arriving, we were finally able to access the truck and leave. 5) On drop off, i received an email stating my charges were over $300 because I drove 150+ miles and didn't return the tank full (picked up with a half tank). Thankfully, the actual billing was correct which I wasn't notified until Monday.Rob L.

This location had no personnel available when I dropped off the truck at around 10am ,. Why not? The door was locked and I had to use the key box. I would have liked to discuss my horrible uhaul experience with an on site rep.Richard E.

Our truck was not at the original location it was supposed to be at. We had to travel 45 minutes away to get it. U-Haul did not offer us any money off or any sort of help. They talked to me like I was the one who messed up. DO NOT use U-Haul. Pay the extra cash for one of the competition it'll be worth it in the end!Timothy S.

Your online service is horrible. Our pickup location was changed 3 times, provided conflicting information regarding location and pickup time. Service reps did not know where the pickup location was. 24 hour check in services were glitchy and caused us to drive to the wrong location, TWICE. When retrieving truck, the truck number was inconsistent and changed while confirming, the key box numbers were incorrect and we had incomplete instructions with difficult and unreasonable pick up lot location. This caused our pickup to take an hour and half when it should have been about 15 minutes. This frustration and headache warrants some sort of compensation for our time working with poor Uhaul services. I've had great experiences with Uhaul in the past but we had an awful experience this weekend and will not be recommending nor using Uhaul services in the future.Hunter C.
