The cab smelled like a cow barn which was quite nauseating.Kim G.
I was overcharged for mileage. My starting mileage was listed as 138327 and when I took the truck the odometer showed 138384. When I questioned it the lady said she couldn't change the starting mileage. I should have been charged for 107 miles instead of 164 miles.Ivaylo R.

A pal dropped off the trailer for me since I do not know the area so I cannot make any statement since I did not see the locationGAYLE C.
I was stranded in PA. and needed help to relocate the broken vehicle I was driving. the vehicle was fixed in 1 day not 2 and so ireturned the truck and find that the none speaking English people at the pickup store set it for 2 days as a contract, I copuld not get across what I was trying to do. they filled out the forms and told me that I had to return to Lyons new York which is 150 miles from where I was headed. the people did try but they had to be on a cell with owner at all times to help translate, very frustrating. then when returned my friend was told that I would not receive any money back for early return because wrong location, and I had signed a contract for 2 days? hope that someone can explain in English how this happened and why I got ripped offRAY C.

The lot that the office was located had the worst pot holes EVER! There was very little room to even turn our car around in because is was so full of other vehicles (not U-Haul trucks). The office was overwhelmingly cluttered & dark. The furniture pads were handed to us in a very large heap, not located in the back of the truck where they were needed. The actual U-Haul vehicle that we had reserved was located several blocks away from the office. To get into the U-Haul vehicle I had to walk through deep puddles & mud. Luckily, the vehicle inside was clean & drove nicely.Jammie N.

This location did not have the trucks on site. We had to drive 1/2 mile to where the trucks were parked. This location did not have the appliance dolly that I had reserved, nor did it have the furniture pads I had reserved. Had to drive back to Binghamton to pick up the dolly and pads (30 miles). The lady at Frank's gave me extra miles for the inconvenience but it would have been nice to have it all in one place.Edward F.

They need to listen to the customer more. we told then the trailer was snowed in and to bring a shovel to the sight where the trailer was stored. they did not. there was no light hook up had to take it off another trailer in the lot. it was under snow had to dig it out.TINA JIM H.

No one was at the location and I dropped it off on the Friday. I am getting charge for an extra day and 26 extra miles. I loaded the truck at my home drove it to my new address and dropped it off. I don't understand why I am getting charged for the extra 26 miles.Luigi C.
My experience with other uhaul locations has been much better. I went to the office and was "checked in" then sent to another location to fend for myself getting the trailer hooked up. It needed a wiring extension and none was provided or even suggested. The trailer was up on a rise at the base of a tree, frozen to the ground, and it was impossible to lift the receiver to the level of my hitch. I had to use a car jack to get it to the correct level. I would not prefer to visit this location again, but it is in the town where I presently live - before we move.John B.
Our first choice for a pick-up location was not available. The website does not tell you ahead of time if the size vehicle you want is available at your preferred location.Richard B.

1. Designated pick-up location too far (75 mile round-trip) from home (Vestal, NY). There is a U-Haul facility in Vestal, 3 miles from home. No consideration was done to have the rental equipment moved to a closer pick-up location, that's poor. 2. Equipment interior had strong smell of cigarette smoke and unclean. Someone had stayed in there and smoked.GEORGE L.

I reserved a trailer in Vestal, NY and had to drive 40 miles to Deposit, NY to pick up the trailer. If I am able to make a reservation for a specific location, I should be able to pick up the vehicle at that location.Julie P.

i had to rent from here because my first choice location did not have any trucks available. i wound up paying for 24 extra miles and extra gas. with the added milage and gas the price of the rental almost doubled. the lady who took care of us was pleasant.GEORGE R.

Our truck (10') experience was pleasant i.e. the truck was clean, new and there were no problems. Our only negative feedback is that we were quoted .59 cents a mile but when all was done, our credit card was billed at .79 cents per mile. What's up with that since you ask? Robert J. The location was fine. The service however, was not. I had called previously to set up a reservation then was informed too late to book another truck that the original location didn't have the equipment I needed. I ended up having to drive an HOUR away to pick up the truck and paying $150+ more than I should have had to!JENNIFER B.
